Thank God, for the governor's wisdom in handing her case to the Federal government via the Minister of Health.
I suggest, that a highly respected Idoma medical doctor and politician, be brought into the issue, to talk to her, since she wants their attention.

Seems she's mentally unstable.

A very large percentage of Nigerians are mentally unstable, and deceitful. That character is showing up a lot with this covid 19 crisis.
As soon as they test positive, they move into denial mode.
By the time this crisis is over, I believe there would be up to 80% infection rate.

Drama, both the government and this lady are handling things the wrong way.
Exactly, I've never liked governor Ortom for any reason, as a Matter of fact, initially I felt it was highly unreasonable for Ortom to reveal her identity almost immediately, even before NCDC announced the results, but lately I'm beginning to see the woman is equally full of drama, just like Ortom.... Birds of a feather.

Don't drag some people along with you. If you reside in Lagos,I can direct you to where isolation centre is so you can go close to the place to see for yourself. Abba Kyari's family will wish it's all an illusion bcuz they, more than anyone else wish it's all scam but baba Kyari is gone for forever. My wish is that you don't get to experience it before you believe as it'll definitely be too late.

I don't really know what's wrong with that woman. Unfortunately, most Nigerians behave like her once they set their foot in Nigeria. If she were in the UK, would the UK health minister visit ordinary her? She may even be a Nanny in the UK, but now in Nigeria, she has become a superpower.
She hasn't heard that Dybala, the footballer, has remained in the isolation room for over 6weeks because he's still testing positive, and doesn't complain?
She will remain there as long as she continues to test positive; whether she has symptoms or not is out of the question.
Asymptomatic people are very good transmitter of the virus.

I must commend the professionalism of the Nigerian government in this.

The woman should allow herself to be retested to know if it's negative on two occasions.

If not, she should stop all this attention seeking attitude of hers.

is it possible not to show any symptom of covic-19 after 39 days of no drug??

shes been there 39 days with neither symptom nor medication. what does that tell you?

they just cant leave her yet simply because she'll "expose" them. Or what explanation would they give for being "positive" and yet not showing a single sign of it for over a month undecided undecided

Your write up shows that you've not come to learn much about this virus.
Yes, it's very possible to be a carrier for over 39days without manifesting any symptoms.
Majority of infected people show either mild or no symptoms. Only few develop severe symptoms or complications.
The condition for discharge is that the patient must test negative in at least 2 separate occasions. She's still there because she hasn't tested negative, even in one occasion.
She's not the only asymptomatic patient with coronavirus.
There's nothing usual or surprising about her case. You guys should stop making unnecessary news out of it.

It appears comprehension is a problem with people these days.....

1) She came into Nigeria from the U.K but refused to self isolate, hence govt was forced to intervene and isolate her.
2) She was tested and found to be COVID19 positive and then moved to Abuja
3) She is an asymptomatic COVID patient (that is people who have the viral load but show no symptoms). She was offered treatment (most likely to reduce /eliminate the viral load, as she is a contagious asymptomatic carrier
4) She refused the treatment and has continued to show positive test indicators

So why will the govt then release her from isolation

She should remain there until that her stupidity wash off her brain. I listened to her previous audio and I must commend the health minister, NCDC, and Benue state government for the attention they gave her.
A test was carried out which shows she was positive but she referred to the test as kangaroo test, the banue state government took her all the way from the state capotal to Abuja in an ambulance with a team of health workers. the minister gave her one on one audience despite his tight schedule and when she demanded for a copy of the test, it was made available to her, yet she didn't want to listen, all she wants is to be freed into the society. Two different doctors approached her for treatment, she turned them down claiming she doesn't have any symptom of COVID-19. Now she is talking about being abandoned and not given treatment. If she feels because she returned from outside the country that everyone should dance to her tune, she is joking.
She is just an old attention seeking woman. Why calling on idoma people, are they doctors? She should be calling on WHO to conduct a test on her rather than disturbing the peace of her people in the village

Susan Okpe, the alleged coronavirus index case in Benue State has cried out to Idoma community over her ordeals.

Okpe has been isolated for 39 days after she was reported to have contracted the deadly coronavirus.

She was earlier held in Benue but due to her outcry, she was later moved to Abuja where she has been isolated.

In a new video, the woman called out the Idoma community for abandoning her.

She said since her ordeal started, she has never taken any tablet or shown any symptoms.

In a new video, the woman said it is a shame that Idoma people in the position of authority chose to look the other way while she languish in what she described as forceful detention.
