2, We only eat meat on Christmas or Sallah day: It still baffles me that during their time Nigeria was still very productive in agriculture. Where all the livestock meat dey go then?

3, I always come first in class: No parent dey come second.

4, I always listen to my parents and was never stubborn: issokay continue dey lie dere..

I won't actually call them lies.

Its a sweet lie to instill discipline.

Imagine if u dnt do that and ur kids want to be eating meat every time.

Or ur kids asking u to buy them cars to go to school at secondary school level

Or ur kids getting satisfied with getting 30th outta 35 students in class.

Some of those things ginger some of us those days. Disciple-wise, our parents were proud that the sweet lies worked.

Even now, op don lie for plenty people already grin

My mum tho grin

That woman was extra-ordinary when it's concern inspiring or disciplining you ..

She would be saying ""You Know your mum wouldn't do her darling any harm, just tell me the truth, are you the one that touch the pot? just tell me the truth I wont beat you""

After revelation cum repentance, the beatings ehnnn
you'll be wandering which part of your body is missing grin

Rest on Mum, Love you!!!

If an average Nigerian parent actually told lies, I wonder the kind of lies Lai Mohammed would have told his children.
