He shouldn't.
It should not even be an option.
The massive unemployment rate would lead to social unrest and a very high level of crime.
A nation were a politician earns the salary of over three score soldiers.
Politicians who earn up to a million naira should have their salaries reviewed, their salaries should either be deducted by 20 or 30 percent.
Notwithstanding, the recently returned Abacha loot should be judiciously used just like the United States of America suggested.

False alarm!!!!

Ministry of power was merged with works and housing, tell us how many staff lost their jobs?

If we indeed want this administration to keep cutting cost of running the Government, then we should be ready to accept to pay One minster instead of paying various ministers for similar roles

honourable minister and minister of state...i still can't understand why they have to go together.. why not just one of them...

Na wa ooo.. Till today I'm still wondering why APC kicked against using the 2014 confab.

Till today I'm still wondering why some Nigerians decided to vote this party in if they can't diversify our economy, till today we are still 90% depended on oil revenue.

Too bad

Nonsense.

The cutting of cost should start of the presidency, NASS and all other channels of siphoning money by the govt.

They are always quick to implement policies detrimental to the people.

Moreover, all the monies saved so far from TSA, tax etc...how have they in any way benefited the masses?

We keep borrowing yet nothing to show for it.

We have the worst set of leaders on planet earth. An average Nigerian is wicked, greedy and heartless.

Believe it or not 90% of oil producing countries are solely depends on oil, USA and Russia makes the remaining 10%
It’s not easy to diversity when you can easily get money from the oil,the only problem is we don’t save for raining day,we spend and steal the rest
