Re: My Sweet "Ivory Coast" Memories by EMEKUSBOY9(op):
GOOD DAY GUYS,

Am here to continue from where i stopped on "SAMEDI SUA" ( Nigerians pronunciation over there) cheesy

Let start from FRIDAY!

Friday is also one of the sweetest day in *ivory coast " because FRIDAY gives birth to SATURDAY! grin

On Friday starting from that morning when u wake u already know two things as a guy...

One of them is that tomorrow is the "deal day" grin and the other is that u are very likely to get a new girlfriend grin please am not saying u should leave your girl friend in Nigeria or ivory coast oooo ( i already had one then, so i was not looking for any... grin)

For those Christian it all start from the morning u left your house to work place or any where u start seeing what to expect on saturday. And for those Muslims they need to wait till after afternoon prayer start from 12 or 1pm, before they can start exploring what Friday got to offer ( u know what i mean) tongue grin

Friday is full of arrangements and people going to shopping, buying food stuff against Saturday. is really a grate experence for me, because is something different from what we have here in Nigeria. in the same Friday evening every road will be busy and the highest numbers of times u see Ivorian ladies passing.... in fact, is the best time for u to see Ivorian ladies, because all most their women are on a move to their boy friends place.

is really a good feelings i must say..... angry

Now to the main day ( SAMEDI SUA)

To me and many Nigerians this is the first Christmas of the year for ivorians, even if it happens every Saturday is still first Christmas experience for them. Unless the vibe are no more there like 2 years back i was there.

Starting from that saturday morning the live "English premiereship" match u will be watching to while away your time is something out of this world. Yes ! i watch more premiereship matches and French leagues there in ivory coast than in Nigeria, because over there.... u just tunned your TV the next things are live matches ( am talking about real matches like Chelsea vs man u , without stress or going to ball center or even light issue) grin

From this day for me is to get my latest dress ready, and ready to slay with my Ivorian girl.

Mothers over there dnt waste their time thinking if they have a daughter to send an errand, because they know u are likely not able to find the girls/ ladies. And even when they are at home they already planing or arranging their things and set to go out. But mind u not all girls are "social type" some may just seat at home or invite their boy friend to their home.

For me and my guys our meeting is postponed till Sunday grin because we all... are going to be busy one way or the other. You go to their clubs that night filled. That is when u will find "one man to one woman ration " but before entry the club if u are smart enough u can get any woman because they are a lot of ladies outside without a guy and also wanting guys to ask them for a date.

But mind u once u enter inside the club is almost impossible if not impossible to get any woman because they are all hooked..... Infact dnt even try to enter their club on Saturdays without a woman because what your eyes will see, and how free this girls/ ladies express them self..... Then You start getting " jealous and lonely " grin

An Ivorian girl can come up to u and said "why are u not with a girl" ( my brother, check am na... If Ivorian girl come to u as a "Nigerian tiger" why u are not with girl. That is "falling hand " big time! ) grin

The high point as a Nigeria guy is when Nigeria songs start dropping...... Believe me, the way ur girl friend will hold u will be like u are about to run but she dnt want u to go.

That is when u are very proud of Nigeria, because all eyes will be on you and may luck shine on you that day u are the only Nigerian inside that club. You are now the new chairman for that club ooooo grin

You people know what our songs does to the soul. But if u want to see the real "as* shaking" just wish they play their own song then u will understand why their women are so hot!

I have to go guys, and i hope i can convince my friends to jump into my thread and also contribute to what have been saying.....

Stay safe!

Emeka I have been a silent follower of this thread right from day one.
I'm a graduate who has been hustling to meet up.
Since there are opportunities in Ivory Coast, can I start a meaningful life with one million naira over there?

I believe I've said my bit. Take whatever you will from it. I am responding to you and not the echo chamber because I know you are trying to share your experience in Côte d'Ivoire. I stand by my feedback that it could do with a bit more detail. You can do so without divulging any personal info. Would it hurt to mention the name of the popular Nigerian restaurants? Street names? I have been to Yopougon where I am affiliated with the cocoa processing plant which is a financial sponsor for some soccer clubs. This is what has created my tangential interest in your thread. Good luck to you in your future endeavors.
Brother - google is your friend. Arrange yourself well to benefit from the pecuniary benefits of intensive research. You will reap a bountiful harvest and your cerebellum will treble in size. You will feel elated and giddy from reaching an elevated mental position and ready to strike fire into the heart of economic production. As you do that, please refrain from disturbing our vibe and reducing this thread to an intellectual discourse. I can hit Bloomberg or the FT for that. Here, the majority of us want to hear about music, social life and gros fesses in any order anyone wishes.

I know your heightened emotional intelligence will workout your subsequent behaviour from now on - A plus!
Re: My Sweet "Ivory Coast" Memories by Rupect: 10:50pm On May 08, 2020
grin grin grin Most times get the full realities on ground. Good to follow a thread like this.

But mind you Ivory Coast is not easy now. Always come and see things for yourself. Do visibility study before taking a critical decision by mere what you read online.

The morale here is high but do research well.

I followed the page from one to page 16. Thanks for this update Bro Emeka!!! You made me love this country more. But pls, Your early days there in Abidjan, how did you cope with language? Have you had basic knowledge of French before? How many months did it take you before you could speak French fluently?

Glad I came across this Thread. Spent over an hr reading from page one. You're such a great writer bro! Are you by any chance in lagos?

Op, you've done well. However, there are some aspects you haven't talked about. Like.
1. There security system. Is it as corrupt as that of Nigeria? Do the police accept bribe?
2. Is there terrorism there, like we have in Nigeria. (For those going into farming)
3. How often is robbery cases over there.
4. During your stay, have you ever witnessed an election? How bloody is it?

As regards SAMEDI SUA. If you have a girlfriend there, and in the course of your stay you decided to visit Nigeria for few weeks. Won't your girlfriend look elsewhere during those Saturday evening frenzy.

Once again, thanks for sharing this. More ink to your pen.

How I which Nigerian could follow suit, it will do us a lot of good.
Firstly, there won't be incest, as you'll be rest assured that Saturday evening you'll get a girl.

No randy lecturers
No sex starved dudes
Declined or no rape case
Less abortion lest it affects worm
No or less paedophile. Etc

That place is very peaceful..... My 2 years of staying in that country i did not heard the sound of gun or any case of stealing.

A country u can still go and look for ur friend by 12 am...

No nothing like DAT!

As for the women issue... They are loyal if u show them love but please let ur 2 weeks be that ooo dnt use "Africa time " that is where doubt always start from. Always be open and be honest to them

My guy, u spoke my mind... Over there women are not hard if u can follow the process, and one of those processes is that if u are dating them their mum must know u are the one eating the cake grin

That is why u abortion is very hard to see there.

All my time there i never heard a rape gossip or talk.

Enough women to go round

If not i have a woman i would have been dating a lot because sometimes they come to u that they like u.
