Partiality cannot make Nigeria's law stand. Didn't she aware of the lockdown? She should have been fine a token for violating law and order.

I think d main reason for this lockdown is not about d number of cases in d state,
he's angry bcus Federal government shared money for other states without giving him a dim to use and fight dis pandemic disease

my thought though

He is fighting hard for Covid-19 cases not to be on the rise, in his domain.

Because, he knows it(as much as I do) that even if Covid-19 cases in Rivers State were to rise to a 100, the FGN will probably not come to his aid; like they did for APC states like Lagos and Kano.

And, YES, you guessed right

FGN is playing politics with this Covid-19.

Very wicked people.
Mind you I'm from Cross River State and there is no single case of Covid19 in my state.
I reside in Rivers state, Port Harcourt, Choba to be precise
You see what makes me angry that some peeps here think i am mean. How can u open ur mouth to insult a whole state that feeds u and ur family cus u work and make a living there. I am an IKWERRE man and i can tell u that over 70% of my people are educated and works in all the sectors of the economy. U claim ure from Cross Rivers state and reside and work here in RIVERS. Rivers is the Lagos of SS The meeting point of SE & SS. If my state is too small and shitty as some of presume, u can quietly crawl back to ur state and sit ur arse there we don't need u here. I have travelled to all the ND States except Akwa/ibom and ur state. I dnt say bad about those states. If u keep insulting RIVERS And her people, don't question GOD when the land baren and fruitless for u. My advice

The most incompetent, clueless, and useless governor to have ruled rivers state.
under him port harcourt is very dirty and has become an eyesore,
Timariv disbanded and thousands lost their job, all scholarship boards have been scrapped, no new school has been built,
no new job has been created, no people oriented scheme, no support for farmers hence the inability of rivers state to feed itself, nepotistic and tribalistic government.
I can go on and on...
Wike is worse off than buhari.
Affliction shall not rise a second time, may God save us from wike!

You are very correct.

GOVERNMENT SHOULD THINK ON REDUCING HARDSHIP FOR NIGERIANS
Sequel to the daily report on this COVID-19. Nigeria Government did not look for solutions to cure this virus like other countries rather than lockdown. How long will Nigerians continue to remain in prison. This is seriously affecting the economy of the nation. Nigerians cannot trade again to get money to buy food again. Inter state trading is no longer there and remember that all this goods are not being made in each state. Inter State driver union can no longer feed their families. Students are getting pregnant because of inability to continue their studies and they cannot go to their parents for proper monitoring in the name of lockdown.
My own advice from Nigeria government is that:
Let us forget about the lockdown issue so that Nigerians can have freedom of movement as stated in Nigeria constitution.
Let Nigerians exercise their bodies, inability to do exercise even causes more danger to health
Let us try some MEDICINE to cure this virus rather than lockdown. Many suggested medicine had been turned down because some Some of our Government officials including the Governors are using the opportunity to make money.
I am sending my opinion out to you Sir, to enable you to know that hardship Nigerians are facing.
Thank you Sir

Suffering in what aspect? You are from RIVERS state does not give u access to free money. U have to work for ur money. U can't and do nothing and expect the government to feed u. For what. Na lazy man hunger dey kill. I am a medlab scientist by professor. I make my money thru my profession. Advice people around u to go and work if they feel hungry. Speak for yourself alone.
Alot of Rivers people are not happy with wike on this including me.
Since the Lockdown started in Obio Akpor LGA about 2 weeks ago, no testing done & palliatives shared. whats the essence of the Lockdown? Why can't he fight FG alone without disturbing Rivers people?

But on this issue of lockdown, Wike is Wiked
He's a tyrant

Use your head. Take his wickedness as a form of motivation to learn a digital skill so you can make money at home while in your room without going out.

Buhari's wickedness in 2016/2017 is what changed my life till this day, so be wise and find a way to use Wiké's wickedness as a lifesaver.

Only blind people will call Wiké wicked. Just the same way I blindly called Buhari wicked — even though he truly was. It was later I took the wickedness as motivation.

So, my dear, find a way to take Wiké's so called wickedness to change your life forever.

If they're lies then you're free to post the truth, Am not looking for favours just an enabling environment which wike failed to provide.
I don't vote for Pdp or Apc.

My friend, those who disagree with leadership systems do not sit and moan. They want change. If the system is not favourable to you, then you need to be that change agent. Wike was in his 30s when he became a local government chairman. The same goes for Amaechi and Magnus Abe. They took leadership by the scruff of the neck. They did not sit and wait for enabling environments. They created enabling environments for themselves. Brother, the richest people today did not wait for enabling environments, they created them. They got ideas that translated to power and wealth.

You cannot convince anyone that Wike is not working. Wike may be tough, ruthless, aggressive, but he is a go getter.

They say "crayfish wey don dry how e go take bend"?. The problem with infrastructure and the economy in Nigeria as a whole predates Wike and his contemporaries.

I know people accuse him of embezzlement. But certainly whether he embezzles or not, he works. His works will determine his political future and not speculations.

Kindly remember to stay safe.

If the number of infected in Rivers State was as much as that of Lagos people will wail that the governor didn't enforce this lockdown early on. The man is taking actions now so he wouldn't be blamed later for not doing enough.

You can never please Nigerians, they are complainers. Look at how they are causing him,
If there is an outbreak now, do we have the medical capacity to combat it? The answer is No,
We don't have, stay at home. They refuse.
