Man has never lost the image of God. U this fraud. Every human you meet is in the image of God either male or female ( James 3:9) . that's not the point of 1 Corinthians 15:49 . it deals with Nature. Even the one made of dust mentioned in that verse is already in the image of God. So it refers to something deeper.
