YES you are to blame for walking into a bar with your guard down, while we all know how even men are drugged, robbed and raped. rule #1, dont be walking around in unknown places by yourself to meet strangers, while not being careful... yes the world is a great place but you cant be acting like a damn fool. a friend of mine just got robbed being foolish like that. the dude was kidnapped for 4 days before they emptied his fukcing bank account all because of some tinder date. we warned that mofo to be careful but he wouldnt listen.

The owner of the website posted a funny video link here on NL that wouldn't open until I went to instagram and later, decided to see what else the page offered until I came across it. Truthfully, the video made me very sad when I saw it. I almost cried.

You should maybe one day read of how other countries came to tackle the same problem anx how they were able to overcome some of the same problems . Maybe then you will understand how easy nigeria has it considering the solutions are already out there, the people just need to be willing to solve these problems.

The university I school in has 2 major campuses; one for general courses and another for professional courses. I prefer we solve problems the sensible way though. Rather than hold the victims acxounrable for the crime, we spend that energy working om ways to ensure the culprits do not go unpunished as a way to deter others from doing the same.

Attacking victims has never been an answer and it will not start now. The western world has been able to arrest rape using methods that punishthe offenders and not the victim, and with great success too.

This rape epidemic in nigeria needs to end and it won't end if people continue treating it like some other person's problem

dont get me wrong, i can never blame a child for falling into such evil trap... but we have to prepare them for such negativities of life. The last time I checked, one obvious sign of maturity is to admit that you're biased. You didn't condemn anyone, but you disapproved of their actions; whilst at the same time admitting that you have friends who are like them.

So, if you disapprove of their behaviors, but still keep rapists as friends, then that is hypocritical of you.

And as for sinning differently, I guess it's okay to have friends who are murderers, wives who are adulterous, and politicians who are corrupt. After all, it's okay to sin differently and we have no right to judge anyone.
