Omoyele Sowore reacts as Governor Wike demolishes Hotels in Rivers State.

Describing @GovWike as mad is an understatement, the Rivers State chief executive see him self as an emperor because he’s gotten away with so many atrocities as gov, he must think at a point that nobody could possibly hold him to account. Someday though he will pay for his sins!

Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore says it would be an understatement to describe Nyesom Wike as “mad” … saying the Rivers State Governor is posing as an “emperor” and shall one day “pay for his sins.”

As FIRST REPORTS told you, authorities in Rivers demolished two luxury hotels that were secretly operating in violation of coronavirus lockdown rules.

Governor Wike had before the demolition warned that any hotel that goes in contrast to the rules would be demolished.

On Sunday, owners of Prudent Hotel, Alode in Eleme and Etemeteh Hotel, Onne watched as their assets and investments were rendered to debris in seconds.

Governor Wike has said he will do everything possible to protect the lives of Rivers people.

In fact, the building of a ‘wall’ around the state has begun so as to checkmate illegal entry from neighbouring states into Rivers.

Meanwhile, Sowore is not the only one condemning the demolition.

are to applied on Governor Nyesom Wike the ruthless way he
applied his executive order, he would have been either
hanged long ago or rotting away in jail on long jail sentence.

It's an evil to demolish a going concern that employs people and pays tax in a struggling economy. Wike had the option to seal these hotels and fine the operators' heavily but chose to walk this path of malevolence. Sad.
