In this lockdown. Most schools aren't operating, your best option is to use your unofficial transcript and state why you are using it.since your school doesn't issue that then i don't know what other option you can use

Slayyy001:

Unilag does not issue unofficial transcript o ! Other schools are giving their students transcripts or sending it to the schools abroad once they pay online . However , unilag is just different and they are not processing application for transcripts yet!
Pls anyone who knows anyone who can help. Biko ! I can message you privately . Deadline May 31st

Don't be frightened, your CGPA of 3.59 which is 2.1 is acceptable for a masters program in Canada.

It will end in praise.

Noo you are wrong. You can access your unofficial transcripts. Go to the website and put in your matric number and password. Go to student records and request for transcripts. You would pay 1k and it would be sent to your email or you can download it from your student account after 24 hours. The official transcripts is a different process on its own.

That’s the family information form right? That’s the form I advised someone to download, print and sign, then scan back. They were shouting on me. Oya Frankrobbn and Anon123 come and explain to her how to sign family information form without printing it o.

My sister as for me, I printed it, signed all the portions for signing, scanned it back and attached it. Note that there is more than one place for signing. If you are not married, you have to sign the part that declares that you have never been married. Same with if you have no kids.

Sorry my response is coming late. I have been occupied lately.

As I said earlier, you don't need to sign any of the IMM forms if you're using the online route. After successful uploading of documents into their various columns on your MyCic account, you will be prompted to electronically use your full name as written on your passport to transmit the application to IRCC for due visa processing.

Cc:NwanyiOkpa.

@Luckymama, did I shout on you? grin I'm sorry if i did but i was only trying to put the applicant on the right track.

It will end in praise.

Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding bringing my spouse over.
Somehow, we had to postpone our marriage to July, but I will be submitting my Visa application this week.
The thing is,
Since we aren't married yet, Will it be a okay if I submit my application this week "single" and then present a marriage certificate next year when we apply for her work permit?
my partner is still in school, she will be rounding up next year, and our plan is for her to come join me next year.
Good plan, submit alone now then invite her after her studies. But also state that you have a fiancé and will be getting married to her in July(if possible include your wedding invitation to your app)

Thanks..

1. He can withdraw from the account as long as the amount withdrawn doesn't affect your tuition and living expenses when it's time to pay(CIC can ask for updated SOA anytime they like, so you can imagine if they do and there's no money there).
2. Use all accounts if possible, but importantly his personal account(the one with money)

Please is it advisable that each sponsor gives you both an affidavit of support and a letter of sponsorship? Also what are the differences between the two documents ?
1)Yes....

2)+ Affidavit of Support is a legal document which u gotta do in court..and usually has a deponent red seal stamp on it..

-Letter of Sponsorship is a letter a sponsor will address to the embassy ... He/she will talk about about himself a bit, also talk about the applicant and how related dey are, reason why he is sponsoring the applicant, show how capable he/she is to sponsor the applicant...

Some breakdown of his/her Sponsorship declaration showing his/her name, Business, Occupation , earnings. Work address, relationship with d applicant he/she is sponsoring, address of the apploc he is sponsoring etc...

Hi @Frankrobbn1,

Thanks for your input as well.

But my only issue now is my ex-company already terminated all workers including our so-called HR, which now makes things a little complicated for me.

If I may ask what do you suggest I do?? I can have a one on one convo with her but don't really know how far CAC goes with their verification process.

Please any input would be highly appreciated.

Cheers..

You can get a letter of introduction from her. However she must be aware of your intentions to travel abroad for an advanced education, so should in case IRCC calls the number on the reference letter to verify your current employment with them. Meanwhile, it's very rare for IRCC to do that for a regular study visa application.

It will end in praise.

From your student portal, you can pay 1k and you’ll be sent the student copy of your transcript.
Your student copy is an unofficial transcript.

So please who goes to court for the affidavit of support?... is it the sponsor or the applicant?
Also what are the contents of the letter?, that’s assuming it’s to be created by me the applicant
I anticipate your reply, thanks once again.

Please could you throw more light on the federal skill workers program?

Federal skill workers program is otherwise referred to as Express Entry. It requires three years or more experience, IELTS score - 8777 and POF of 13kCAD for single applicant.

In order not to derail the thread, I would suggest you check this forum EXPRESS ENTRY THREAD NAIRALAND for more information.

Ameen ,
thanks for your response, really appreciate, it's really getting frustrating now ... she had C4 in English language and C6 in English literature . The school is also requesting for course outline and transcript but the issue is that we have declare that she just got admission into a university here in Nigeria and now has never completed her first semester and as a result, she doesn't have any transcript because of this reason and the school has insisted that we should send her course outline and transcript . please how will she /we overcome this , please house attend to my request, please

You shouldn't have declared that she is enrolled in a University in Nigeria since she hasn't completed any semester yet. I think you were the one that shot yourself on the foot. Nevertheless, I am of the opinion that you should try your best to explain your current situation (inability to obtain the first semester transcripts) to the school in Canada and see if they could see reasons with you. On the other hand, while waiting for the school to respond with their decision, also apply to the University of Regina for any of the undergraduate programs that is reasonably inlight with the applicant's interest. I must tell you that Visa chances are higher with University of Regina for undergraduate studies than Winnipeg (this is something I have practicalized with few applicants).

Hello my people, I need your opinion please. So I got a conditionally accepted for PhD, the requirement yet to be met is copies official copy Bsc university transcripts and certificate from my university. Problem is Uni is on lockdown and there is no sign of reopening as a result of the Covid-19 wahala. I have talked with the University in Canada and they’ve asked I can send electronic copy but still my Naija Uni say e nor possible.

I also applied to a different university and I had submitted all official documents there and haven’t gotten any decision at this moment.

My Question: Is it possible to cancel my application at this university I have not gotten any response and ask them to send these official documents I have sent to the other Uni where I have admission.

I’m also open to any other suggestions that could help.

Thanks

It's totally not possible and unacceptable. Note; that any document you send to a school abroad has automatically become their property and will be kept for reference purposes. At this point, you will have to request for a new transcripts to be sent to the other University you applied to in Canada. No University in Canada would incur the cost of transferring or using the courier service to send documents on your behalf to another school.

Overall 3.57 CGPA is a second class upper division (2.1) which is the minimum requirement for admission into a master's program in Canada. @Daum, can go ahead with his application, but must write a well structured and articulated SOP that will substantiate him considerably as a good candidate for the program. However, MSc programs as suggested by Qudkom is very competitive, your best shot will be to opt for an MEng program.
