Okay I'm going to make my point known. I'm from a minority tribe in NIGERIA I'm neither Hausa/Fulani nor Yoruba nor Igbo or their derivatives. I'm a firm believer in NIGERIA and even more a united ONE NIGERIA, I believe and observe as many Nigerians have the deterioration of our country, it's economy and Muhammadu Buhari's clear ethno-nepotistic tendencies. I believe we as a nation have our own fair share of problems;

the Igbo claim to be marginalized in terms of appointments and infrastructural development(which is very debatable) but as Mr President being who he is you can't blame him.

If Biafra is achieved( which in my opinion is 99.99% impossible considering the state of things and what happened the last time in 1967) what then will happen to Biafra? What will the minority tribe do? Do you think they'll sit and become MINORITY all over again? I don't think so. Everyone will want their own country( South South Nigeria is the most ethnically diverse place in NIGERIA) imagine how many 'countries' will spring up. The smaller and divided we are the more enticing we become, we have neighbours that aren't very friendly France has shown countless times it's aim in West Africa- a disunited Nigeria which will become it's puppet state like Cameroon, Niger, Chad states with dictators as rulers.

Secondly what do you think will happen to all the Igbos who've spread out all of over Nigeria and their assets, they'll loose everything! Billions of dollars lost! Is that what we want? Millions of Igbos packed in Biafra putting exceeding strain of resources in Igbo land, millions more migrating to the south South where they aren't native. Do you think the locals will be friendly? Do you think they'll like being minorities again?( I think I've mentioned this before).

The point of everything i wrote up there is ONE NIGERIA it is the easiest and preferably less bloody solution. Nigeria should be restructured politically, economically, socially. A well proportioned government where no nepotism takes places should be in place.

Please no one especially ipob should quote me abeg.

There was a strong country called USSR more advanced than this 4th world country called Nigeria, but today USSR is no more.

Millions have died to preserve what a white man created. Believing in One Nigeria is believing that Oyibo is superior to you and is your GOD because they and not your forefathers gave you your identity.

The best thing that happened to us in Nigeria is internet. We are now able to challenge all the lies and propaganda Nigeria used against Igbos since 1967 till date.

We will make sure that this mere geographical expression never enjoy any peace at the ideological and intellectual realm globally. Thank God the era of oil is coming to an end at a time Igbo nationalism is growing.

We should never support any form of union with the minorities, whether now or in the future. A country with these mamoth crowd of ethnicities will be nothing short of a Babelian society where bickering and hostilities will be the order of the day. We will rather be another Rwanda by going it alone than end up like Somalia or South Sudan which will definitely be the case when we go along with these inferiority complex, laid-back and envious groups.

Imagine despite facing bigger enemies in Nigeria yet the minorities are still bickering against each other. Ijaw vs Itshekiri, Ijaw vs Benin, Efik vs Ibiobio, Ikwerre vs Ijaw, Ogoja vs efik, Urhobo vs Anioma etc. Now, imagine what will happen when the boundaries are redrawn and they are made to face each other. I can't even imagine how the situation will be.

Well, you people still have the strength to be dragging front and back issues with paid dudes in Alausa.
Nairaland has always been tribalistic and abhors Igbophobic tendency’s only that it got worse from 2011 coming down. And political intrigues is the cause which melted into ethnic-religious wars. Seun feeds fat on hate and infighting.

Arguing is one trait I notice in unserious people. Pazienza and other nairaland activists sorry to say this spend their time here. Ask them to translate their views to serious offline movement and they’ll chicken out. If this not the traits of paper champions, what else is it?

However there is no way the site will favour Ndigbo because from day one the interest of the owner is always to champion ACN/Tinubu’s cause.

Let me put it another way.
There is a reason the nairaland owner(s) made it a pan-Nigerian forum, even though they are here to promote Tinubu's cause. The idea is so simple, and it is principally to bring Tinubu's views into the consciousness of other Nigerians, and hopefully help sway other Nigerians into promoting Tinubu's ideas.

Conversely, if a Nigerian group that promotes Igbo interests (for instance referendum, restructuring e.t.c) is created, and the owner(s) ensure that they are not bought over by the Nigerian government, in that forum ideas of Igbo importance can be brought up, and fed to other Nigerians, to hopefully get them see what Igbos are seeing.
If such a group existed, no one will be banning Pazienza or removing my pro-Igbo posts, and these ideas will be made public for other non-Igbo Nigerians to read, and to comment on.

All this creating of umunna forums will not work now, as the ideas brought up there will not pass across to other Nigerians, thus making it an issue of national importance. Such umunna forums are only necessary when a few well qualified egg-heads intend to mull over certain issues, before going public with their findings.

Zik's success was the fact that he brought his sagacity to the national scene. During the time of Zik, we had Igbo state union. That was the enclave for discussing matters of Igbo importance and Zik was a member of it. But Zik operated on the national stage, and brought Igbo ideas to bear, where it mattered most.
That was how the midwest region was carved out. Igbos helped the Delta Igbos and the midwest people to achieve that feat, in a democratic setting. Region/state creation is far easier during military rule that during democratic rule, yet Igbos achieved that feat because we operated on the national scene to obtain our interests in a democratic setting.

I say it again that what is needed is a pan-Nigerian forum controlled by a hardcore Igbo person, or a proper southerner that will not go selling out to either the northern or southern almajiris.

Why the minority vs majority divide in the former eastern Nigeria.

1. The civil war poured petrol into this fore problem, because there are naturally majority/minority issues I'm the north, west, and everywhere more than 3 people are gathered.

2. Persistent federal government policies to keep them divided. There's the regular 19 northern governors meeting today. Can you imagine the federal government allowing the governors from the former eastern Nigeria states to ever meet under one roof?

3. Continued and persistent misinformation, because of fear and prejudice. A lot of Yorubas who obviously hate the way Nigeria is run today would rather have the status quo when you mention restructuring, regional independence, or autonomy. Why?

4. Misinformation and maligning of the Igbos has gone on for way too long that young people who have heard prejudiced information from the older generation simply repeat same as truth.

5. Oil, oil, oil.
Somehow, many minorities have been made to believe that Igbos are only after the oil. They don't know about the boundary commission designed to carve away every oil producing community out of the so- called Igbo territory. While those communities remain Igbos in their social and cultural life, outsiders like the Yorubas have amplified their differences with Igbos.

As the oil economy crumbles, people will return to their senses and their base.

6. Petty jealousy. Who has not heard about how the Igbos stole their girl friends, wives, or husbands? Some older people will tell a tale about how the Igbos awarded scholarships to themselves only. How the Igbos excluded them from jobs, etc. While a white man headed commission found these to have no merit, the myth continued and now is being passed down to the ignorant young.

7. All fingers are not equal, but all fingers are important.
There's paranoia about being a minority. This is unfortunate, because every society has minority and majority in every demographic comparison. The majority pays more of the tax for running the government ( many people will not understand this , because the oil pays for everything now).
The majority provides more people and manpower to run the government. A society that refuses to properly utilize the majority will not advance like other western countries.

The minority has rights, and must be protected from the natural human tendencies to victimize the weak. Even members of the minority groups will honestly tell you that they are unable to perform many of the tasks carried out by the collective human man power supplied by the majority.

Apart from having a small privileged ruling class, there's no other way the minority can control the majority in a democratic rule. Sometimes, I think that the verbal and psychological beating of Igbos is actually designed to make them second class citizens, ruled by say a few thousand Ogonis or Ijaws. However, history has shown that this type of effort always fails on the long run.

8. Majority could become minority tomorrow and and vice versa. But that must be by evolution not revolution.

Let me answer you simply.

What happens to minorities in Nigeria shouldn't be Igbo business as Igbos will be in their own homogeneous country biafra

Secondly, If Igbos can be in USA, Ghana, Britain and pay their taxes and dues, same will happen for those residing in Nigeria if the unity ceases to exist.

It is no rocket science.

Aung sang su kyi and Dalai Lama's had a lot of goodwill from influential political leaders because of their calm approach. Nnamdi is neither using guerilla nor diplomatic tactics.

He is merely ping ponging around like a hairless testes on a deranged Mad man. This approach wont get us the desired effect.

Nnamdi is at best...A Moses. For We, the igbos - Our Joshua is yet to come.
