A man should be the bread winner, if both of you are contributing equally to family upkeep you're being cheated especially if you live here in Nigeria. The only time things should be totally equal in terms of financial contributions is when he can help you incubate a kid in his tummy and bear the pain of childbirth and discomfort of nursing. There is no need forming strong man in this time and age. There is so much uncertainties for one to begin to follow that part of strong man (who dies silently in times of trials) and a totally submissive wife who does not question the husband's mistakes.

It is an era of partnership as in 1+1=1.

I support my wife 150% to reach wherever she so desires. We strategise together on how to make more money, our kids and in everything around us. It keeps us together. Attention is drawn to mistakes without animosity.

Truth be told, there is no template for a happy marriage. Some women stay home and are happy.
