The real issue is that Malaria is NOT SYNONYMOUS WITH FEVER
many diseases present with fever including viral and parasitic infections
so just because of fever which is a non-specific symptom, it does not mean it is malaria

I am beginning to suspect the first strain of Covid-19 which is more deadlier has left Nigeria. What we now have is a mutated strain which is not as contagious and deadly as the other.

I can confirm that if you have malaria or typhoid and u go for covid test, it will SURELY come out positive. But what i also dont get is why one person in a household will have Malaria and typhoid and within a week, all the 5 people Staying in dat house had the same malaria and typhoid. And note that this is not the first time the family members have had the sickness. They normally have malaria every now and then but NEVER have they ALL had the same time. So this is confusing to me. Something is making malaria and typhoid to be contagious. The family didn’t go for covid test cos they were scared. But after treating the malaria/typhoid they are all fine.

People claiming it's a scam

People saying it's malaria

You're all idiots.

Trump said hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine are treatments for Covid-19 based on a small scale french test on 25 patients, a ludicrous sample size for a clinical study, and without any concrete findings he advised people to use the malaria injections. Well, experts warned it's not working, and finally real clinical studies have proven chloroquine and antibiotics don't work against covid19.

So why are Nigerian doctors injecting people with a dangerous drug that doesn't work?

Because they don't want to admit they're discharging patients who naturally recover so as not to be seen to be doing nothing....they need that hazard allowance and endless bounties after all. Now that's the only scam.

Dokpesi claims he's a doctor. I think he's representative of the mostly quacks that remain in Nigeria, because all the good doctors have since left for better shores.

A food for thought indeed. Those people benefiting from this virus, would not want it to end. Ordinary malaria, will be termed as coro. Cough we experience here in Nigeria as a result of dusty environment, would be termed as coro. Headech as a result of stress and suffering in a bad system of governance like Nigeria, will be tagged as a coro patient.

Many officials are smilling to their banks or private strong rooms to the detriment of the poor masses, while hunger is killing the poor.

God will judge our leaders.

This clearly shows that Chief Raymond Dokpesi fools ncdc.He knew it from the beginning that what he had is malaria fever,no wonder he said he is going to isolation center to be back in two weeks time! Can you see what Kogi State governor was trying to let people know?

I don't understand what this man is trying to gain by doing this, he was admitted in a hospital that have experienced health workers, he could have asked them to educate him properly before coming out to talk rubbish.
How come almost everyone in his family just suddenly got infected with malaria at the same time? Important people should watch what comes out of their mouths, it may be interpreted wrongly by the masses.
Re: Raymond Dokpesi: When Did Malaria Become Synonymous With COVID-19? by Nobody: 11:45am On May 15, 2020
I have three logical questions.

1. If it's scamdemic, then, what killed Abba Kyari?

2. If it's malaria, why is it highly contagious and vulnerably transmitted?

3. LEST WE FORGET, DOKPESI IS STILL A MEDIA TYCOON WHOSE MOUTHPIECE IS OF PDP. Hope he is not playing politics of hate towards the current administration in favour of his dead and buried party hoping to be resurrected??

Nigerians, think well! I can never trust this Benin con man whose belly is his master. He might put the nation into perpetual darkness of discord, chaos, and negative criticisms with his statement because of his selfish interest against the current administration. Using the zombie masses as the war fronts and shield against the current administration.

Good question.

My thoughts as well since no one is dying as a result of malaria again.

some argue as if they are researching on the virus....microbiologist and related fields specialists that are supposed to be talking are mute....because they are yet to understand the virus fully....why a political science graduate is here arguing about a virus he knows nothing about

Abba Kyari had some chronic illness that was kept private. Even in Italy almost 96 percent of people that died are either elderly people or had other disease conditions.

Plandemic AKA Scamdemic !!!!!!!!!!!!! ..Open the Economy now before hunger finishes off NIGERIANS !!!!!!!..Since that COVID Scamdemic started in Nigeria I have seen people die of poverty , people lose their jobs , people get salary cuts , people lose good business deals but I haven't seen anybody choking from Corona till date and our first case was just a week after US had their first case ..The NCDC keeps populating the death sheet with fake deaths or deliberately wrong diagnosis.
Shut up.

Yours is just to be on the Trumptard bandwagon without making any objective case.

Are you suggesting the likes of Kyari, Ellis Marsalis Jr, Dr. Emeka Chugbo, died from malaria?

This country
I fell sick after the first 5 fasting and couldn’t fast again, I was having sore throat and fever though I went to the hospital and I was tested Positive for Malaria Parasite and Typhoid Fever, I was given some drugs BUT I was asking myself that could it be that I have Corona Virus? The funny thing is that I live inside A University Senior Staff Quarters of which it takes some mins drive to get to the nearby town, since the commencement of the lockdown I have been in my house, I was now asking myself how could I possibly have the virus and despite living with my brothers they ain’t infected..... my brother it was very funny that I started counting 14days..... Alhamdullilah I am better and have fully recovered now..... I was so tensed and Confused

God will help us in this country
