If that happens, total lockdown will be introduced again.

Better to have enough cash in our bank accounts, or hide it in money market funds because of the one million boys.

May God see us through this terrible phase.

Binance has really made things easy for Nigerians.
Search for binance and follow the instructions on how to register.
Once you register and your account verified, you can deposit money directly with your mobile banking app or your card.
You can buy busd directly with your naira though I will not advise you to buy at current price.
Price today is between N437 and N450.

I will be glad to answer any other question you may have here.

What do you think about busd sir? Is it not volatile?

Can anyone please advice me on what to do with like 500k lying idle in my savings acct without any Kobo added as interest(reason being that I make transactions exceeding 3x/month). Will it be a good idea to put it in my stanbic mmf or vgif with investment one. Though I don't have an account yet with investment one as I don't know if they are reliable. Your candid opinions will be highly appreciated.

Why always stanbic IBTC what differentiates them from other regular banks

I’m asking this humbly as I have always heard many financial advisors advise me to open stanbic IBTC bank

Please go to any solid bank you have your money in. If you use UBA or fbn go there. Which one is I prefer stanbic again.

Thanks a million, you've done well for breaking this math for me. How do you come about the 5m premium fee on the 50m investment? And do you think this (fbnquest) rate makes sense, or is there a chance to get a better rate with stanbic? Also, is it possible to get less than 3yrs tenure from stanbic? It's my first time with fgn bond, merci
if u are not in hurry ...the t.b rates are moving up gradually (850 bn borrowings )it make take 6 cycles to get to 8-9 percent which will be around 11 percent real return...you can bid with 50m at your own rate ..if u are not in hurry let the markets clear out....

It is very volatile for now.
This is not unexpected giving the uncertainty in the fx market.
The busd/ NGN market mirrors the naira dollar exchange in the parallel market for now.
If you want to buy and hold you may wait a little while for some pullback.

But total lockdown will not be introduced again. We just need to learn to live with the virus cos it doesn't seem like it's going anytime soon.

This is so insightful about the treasury bill investment. A whole lot of people needs to be enlightened about the best investment options. I must say this is a job well done from the author.

Also one gotta think out the box and invest in financial assets such as mutual funds, Eurobond, fixed income bonds, equity fund and etc. it will help plan financially during this pandemic.

Very liquid. No limit except d first deposit which should not be less than N50,000. After that you deposit as low as N1, 000 or as much as in billions.

If you are FBNquest staff,
go and improve your customer service which is the worst in the industry.

1. No reply to emails sent to them.

2. Calls to Customer care are unanswered even when answered, no solution will not be provided.

3. Your account balance will never be sent to you unless you to their office.

4. You can request for online access to your account without ever getting it. I used to have access but when I couldn't log in, request to grant me acceas hit the brickwall.

These are some of my experiences. I still have some money with them but I will eventually pull the plug.

This was done in 2016 now, do i need to post date so as to trace me?
From that transaction, i made 35/40k profit but i did about $3k that week which gave about 150k after all expenses.
Whats the maximum amount that can be moved via noneygram, and is a dorm account compulsory requirement to use moneygram?
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by kristien4(m): 1:33pm On May 15, 2020
Theconglomerate:
No bank is going to send your dollars in dom accounts out of Nigeria in times like this. undecided
How it is done is this;
-You take your naira and buy any stable(independent of oil) country's currency that has a direct exchange rate with Nigeria naira.
-You go to the country physically with that cash in hand,go to their black market for fx and purchase dollar,Euro or pounds.
-Carry that fx physically and return back to Nigeria and sell in Nigeria black market too and make what you can make in the name of profit.
Things you should know;
-Your life and money is in danger because if authorities catch you, either they kill you and take your bread or they take the case up and you go to jail, which will make you still lose your bread because that is when you will find out that you have to pay import duty on currency before you can move it in.
Also if robbers catch you too, then it is sorry for you.
-Also,it is a volume business because you will find out that the difference of purchase price of the dollar between these countries(Nigeria and country of purchase) is very small,so you have to hold good money in order to be profitable.Mostly $100k and above.
Also it is a very fluctuating business as rates change everyday so you might want to pick a country you can go to and return the same day so as to make projected profit instantly. You might gain or lose from fluctuations.
-)It is a very shady business too as they can sell you counterfeit fx,so you have to know your dollars or trust your sources.

Look men,it is not a business for the faint hearted but if you have made up your mind, carry on...

The countries that you can do this business in,I will not say.
It is left for you to use your brain grin
There is NO BANK involved,it is an all cash,BLACK MARKET transaction.Let no one fool you!!!
Thanks for the info.
