ojeysky:Some stocks are for the patient ones or medium/long term investors, especially when gotten at cheaper prices. Not all is good for JIJO. If not for the atmosphere and situation of things around the world, I would have said boldly that Unilever will still return 100% from its year low (9.90).......but no one is sure of anything now. *No one should quote me* At owner's risk. Also do not ask me for chart on this. ![]() 2 Likes |

ndidigood:You exited too early.....or do you mean 'sold at 5.85'? If it's 5.85, it's good then. ![]() Seems this is their earning season, those inside the bus should just be wary of greed. Anything is possible anyway. ![]() Or you also meant that I made you sell it at 3.85? Pls tell me how. ![]() |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 3:35pm On May 15, 2020 |
Coolcash1:Not at all sir. ![]() Just telling them cos there's no chart that represent that, before they start asking me for pointer or proof, you know we have lots of you gurus here. ![]() |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 3:42pm On May 15, 2020 |
lancee:Yes. Following the pattern but they ended up closing higher..........too much unwillingness to sell lower despite higher offers than bids....... UBA finally equalised with Access. Both closed at 6.25. Will it overtake? We wait and see cos this is long overdue.... ![]() 1 Like |

UPDATE FOR WEEK ENDED 15 MAY AND PLAN FOR NEXT WEEK STARTING 18 MAY 2020 The current week was fair, the bulls tried their best, but lack of support from big money spoil the show for the week. Next week, we still expect another ranging market with likelihood of bear winning as China/US trade war rear up its head again. Gain for the week: -0.72% Gain for the Month: +3.69% Gain for the Qtr: +12.07% Loss for the year: -11.07 Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. ndidigood:Oh! Okay. ![]() You're right sis. Not all stocks are good for JIJO. The non-liquid ones especially, and if you're lucky to enter at bottom price, because you wouldnt get maximum gain from them if traded on jijo. If to say you asked before selling, you would have gotten opinions to pick from. 2 Likes |

Hello friends, can some explain the process to receive e-dividend from zenith bank for a new shareholder with them. I bought some shares in Feb-2020, before dividend was declared (verified and confirmed). My brokers says that since I already have e-dividend payment process with another bank, that all they need to do is to submit a form I signed to CSCS. That I don’t need to submit anything to Veritas Registrar. Till today in May-2020, I have not yet received the e-dividend. and no convincing explanation from my brokers. What could be the problem? |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by maishai: 9:34pm On May 15, 2020 |
question:Brother, It is only Veritas that can solve your Problem, Go to Veritas registrar and confirm the problem, They would tell you if you qualified for dividend and what is delaying it....... The brokers job is just to buy and sell on your behalf, The registrars job is Payment of dividend 1 Like |

Initially you said Q1 results will be bad. It turned out good for some and flat for others. Now you don shift the goal post go Q2. ![]() ![]() If Q2 is bad, investors know the reason and I believe (being forward thinking), they must have anticipated that around February 2020 and sold off so that the price they buy will factor in the fall in earnings. And that selloff happened in March 2020 potentially pricing in all events, IMO. [/quote Oga, please would you advice a medium term investor to buy stocks at current prices or do you think they can be bought cheaper with time? |
