Ravon:
MTN Nigeria Communications Plc, one of the country's leading telecommunications company in the country, held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) this week, May 15, 2020.

The Event venue was at the Rooftop Event Hall of MTN Plaza at Falomo, Ikoyi, Lagos by 11 am. The AGM will take place via proxy as a result of the present global health situation, which prohibits gatherings of over 20 persons at a time.

In the 2019 financial year, MTN Nigeria grew its earnings per share by 38.8 per cent to N9.90, while the pre-tax profit rose by 31.1 per cent to N290.1 billion, with revenue jumping by 12.6 per cent to N1.2 trillion.

MTN Nigeria's mobile subscribers increased by 6.1million to 64.3 million, while its active data users grew by 6.5 million to 25.2 million.

I can see Mr. Ernest Ndukwe of NCC. It is people like him who are major share holders in the telecommunication companies in Nigeria that makes the general public suffer because of greed.

The cost of data and voice call is one of the highest in Africa judging from our economic indices. Majority of Nigerians are poor, and with our huge population, we are still not benefiting from that undecided

Won't they share the Microphone?

Or each person brought his/her own Microphone?

They're just following protocols anyways. I understand

What do you think is the purpose of hand sanitizer and hand washing? Spiritual ablution as commanded by Allah?

Mike doesn't give a hoot about your indigenous citizens. All he cares about is his pocket and giving his family the best.
Mike isn't any different from the owners of MTN.

If at this stage, you don't know the purpose of hand washing and hand sanitizer, you need to have your certificates returned to whoever gave them to you, my brother.

And BTW, that you have the virus on your hands doesn't mean you're automatically infected. Infection comes when droplets pass through your respiratory system.

If Southafricans were the owners of Discos, most of you would have been enjoying reasonable power supply.

But see how your fellow Nigerians are running discos.

MTN is doing well.

I think there are various steps the ministry of information and communication needs to be taking concerning these Telecom users.
One thing is that their activities in these country should be properly scrutinized.
Data charge rate should be equally checked right now as many require to check infos now more than ever.

Call rates also shouldn't be bogus as it is now.

Let's be sincere communication is meant to be free just requires money for upkeeping that's all.
