@seanwillian,I can very much relate to that heart to heart talk stuff,especially when she bleeps up.
I tried it as recent as today,you know what happened ? She blew everything out of proportion and was trying to guilt trip me,understanding some basic female compulsive manipulative tendencies,I didn't engage her,neither did I try to go defensive, i just ended the call with "take care".And you know the funny thing ? Few minutes later after I hung up the phone,an irrational voice in my head was asking me to go apology for even confronting her,I smiled to myself,I'm not doing that sh*t ! I'm done being the bigger person,two can actually play that damn game ! But I won't play that game,she can move her ass to the play ground,I got no energy for people that can't own up their bullshit !
You see that heart to heart talk ? Trust me ,it only works for guys,but situations rarely changes when it involves a woman.

The op is partially right though.

What he is saying is applicable when a man doesnt have balls, and dish out apologies unwarranted, just to appease a woman, even if she is the wrong one. Also, if constant apologies comes from a man that she already declared her romantic disinterest, then yes, those are qualities of a weak person, and understandable when she consider him weak.

Personally, apologies from a man should be more of action than verbal. Excessive talking is a not an attractive virtue from a man, and more irritable, excessive apologies. Better not do what will make you apologise in the first place. Thats honourable.

Personally, I appreciate verbal apologies more. If you act alone, I believe you are trying to buy me or my forgiveness. To some action override verbal apologies, to me it doesn't. Its like sweeping things under the carpet. Not that I demand apologizes to all offenses, some I overlook but those I hold on to the three words "I am Sorry" melt them away voluntarily or involuntarily. It means owing up to your doings for me. But if you want pay back, feel too big to say sorry. . I will pepper you ehn, even you will run out of actions. That's if the person is important self.
