INTRODUCTION: Many families are United in the church but divided at home. Many are happy in public but are a disaster in their homes. We can't keep deceiving ourselves. The church, nations, communities and all that makes up the world today is as a result of families put together. Family is what started the human race. The reason why we refer to ourselves as brothers and sisters, or call God our father in the Christendom; is because we are a Family (Romans 12:5). Even the bible refers to the heavens and the earth to as "Families" (Ephesians 3:15).

Today we are busy Inventing and purchasing more and more devices for our personal use, and neglecting the ones that could be beneficial to the whole family. We hardly see family cars in homes anymore, family phones, family bank accounts, or even a family devotional. Family trips and quality family times are zero. And it is a great and lamentable tragedy that even in Christian homes today; there are no more in-house family fellowships, or family bible study times with God anymore. Woe unto anyone who takes matters outside the home more serious than his/her family affairs. Thus; the ENDTIME CHRISTIAN REVIVAL can not kick off if the family is not included.

But asides all these facts stated---many want to pray but doesn't know how to, many families sometimes want to fellowship together but doesn't even know the right scriptures to start with. Therefore God has specially inspired this devotional, a first of it kind, filled with daily morning devotional prayers and weekend devotional studies to stir up his revivalistic fire in our homes in order to re-unite the family again in Christ.

May our families not be left out of God's Endtime Revival Programme in the name of Jesus, Amen.

FAMILY FOCUS: The Family That Prays (Part 1)

FAMILY SCRIPTURE: 2 Chronicles 30:9 - For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.

EXPECTATION: God shall revive your family prayer altar through this study in Jesus name.

MESSAGE: Someone once said; "the family that prays together stays together". Alot of Christian families today pray, but not all pray together. Alot of families today attend churches but not all attend the same together. It is a big tragedy when our mothers, fathers, and children, have separate prayer times at home. This doesn't mean we shouldn't have our secluded times with God. but the truth is that we cannot expect to be United in Christ if we don't all pray together. When we say; "the family that prays" , it goes a long way. It means---the family that dines together, the family that plays together, the family that does home chores together, the family that helps, supports, and cares for each other, and above all ; the family that worships God together. All these are what makes the family stays together. As it is only a family that can think of coming together to pray that can also do all other things together. Prayer is a very powerful weapon; it can save, deliver, uproot, bless, empower, enrich, revive, rearrange, make complete, and protect against the devices of the enemies. In order For the devil to prevail in destroying any family, the first thing he does is to attack our prayer altar. The prayer altar of our family---signifies the presence of God, the power of God and the Church of God in our home. Therefore, If it is destroyed, what can we do?

FATHERLY COUNCEL: The first step to take into reuniting your family in areas divided is prayer.

FAMILY MATTER : You all should discuss your family prayer life ; The progress and the limits.

- O God arise and have mercy on our family in the name of Jesus.
- Every love of self, hindering the unity of this family, die in the name of Jesus.

- Let the prince of peace reign in our home in the name of Jesus.

- O God arise and come into this household in the name of Jesus.
- O God arise and take charge of this household in the name of Jesus.
- O God arise and fellowship with this household in the name of Jesus.

FAMILY FOCUS: The Family That Prays (Part 2)

EXPECTATION: Powers fighting your family prayer altar shall die.

MESSAGE: Most times the problems we face in our home, and we take to the church, that doesn't quickly get solved even in Deliverance programmes could be easily solved in just our morning devotions if we are united. The prayer of unity goes a long way, it brought about the holy ghost in the upper room. Nowadays why most of our prayers in our churches aren't answered is because we aren't united. Unity is power. The home is the heart of the church. But we can't expect to be United if "we" the families that makes up the church is not united. In this end times, the devil is raging against alot of things and people. One of them is the family. He knows if he can destroy what makes up the world, he might have as well destroyed the world. Broken homes nowadays are getting rampant by the day, we now hear preachers advising spouses that if you can't stay, leave. thereby promoting more divorce cases in the society. We see multi religions in one family. We see parents separating their children by whom they love; e.g out of maybe four kids, the father takes two and the mother takes two. We also see children being instigated against the mother/father by the same parents. What a tragedy!

If these things continues our homes will be broken, destines of our children would be endangered, and marriages will be disastrous; Thereby replacing God's standard for marital union with babymamas and babypapas orientations. if in any way our family is guilty in any of these areas listed, and we want to make amends, it is possible. All we first need to do is to come together and pray.

FATHERLY COUNCEL: It is you, God can use to save your family.

FAMILY MATTER : Discuss any experience you had with God during yesterday's study/prayers .

FAMILY PRAYERS
MORNING
- O God arise and make our family untouchable coals of fire in the name of Jesus.
- Every love of self, hindering the unity of this family, die in the name of Jesus.
- Every Love of self, limiting the progress of this family, die in the name of Jesus.
- Let the prince of peace reign in our home in the name of Jesus.

- O God arise and uphold us in prayers and spiritual disciplines against the devices of the devil in the name of Jesus..
- O God arise and take charge of this household in the name of Jesus.
- O God arise and let your will be the order of the day in this house in the name of Jesus.
- O God arise and manifest your power in this household in the name of Jesus.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER FOR OTHER CHRISTIAN FAMILIES:
- Let every rage of the devil, made against Christian homes in this endtimes, be dried up by fire in the name of Jesus.

OPENING PRAYERS (AS LED BY THE SPIRIT)

FAMILY FOCUS: Who is Your God?

FAMILY SCRIPTURE: Genesis 17:7- And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

EXPECTATION: God shall kill every idols taking his place in your home in Jesus name.

MESSAGE: The main purpose of this Devotional is to unite the family In Christ. But how then can this be achieved when we are not all serving God? How do we expect to be United in Christ, if we attend different church denominations, practice multi-religions, and whenever we have problems, take them first to "people" instead of God in our home...?

Who really is our God then? If truly we are serving the same God, then there should be nothing like; "my" pastor said..., or "my" faith is against..., or "someone" advised me to..., And so on like that whenever matters arises in our home.

We can not claim to be serving the same God, whilst serving him in different ways, and by having different belief systems about him.

As children of God, we are partakers of the covenant he has established with Abraham in our family scripture. Christ has made us beneficiaries of that ever flowing generational blessings (Galatians 3:14).

But how then can we be able to manifest them, if we refuse to serve the one who has covenanted with our father of faith to be "Our" God..?

For example; If we take time to scripturally study the story of the Israelites very well, we will find out that afflictions, most times came upon them whenever they decided to serve other gods. gods that were never covenanted with them. Thus God punishes them for it.

This week, God is individually asking us..." WHO IS YOUR GOD "

FATHERLY COUNCEL: Sometimes the problems we face in our homes could be as a result of God's punishment to us for turning against him.

FAMILY MATTER: Discuss what coming together to do in one faith, has done to the family. Compare them with things you have done separately that were supposed to be done in unity.

OPENING PRAYERS (AS LED BY THE SPIRIT)

FAMILY FOCUS: Who is Your God?

FAMILY SCRIPTURE: Genesis 17:7- And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

EXPECTATION: God shall kill every idols taking his place in your home in Jesus name.

MESSAGE: Brethren there are certain things in our lives that has been idolized, and as a result, always stands as a barrier towards us coming together to worship God in our home.

For instance: if phones and other electronic gadgets can be a source of distraction to us when having inhouse family fellowship times with God, when sleep becomes too precious than our morning devotions, when work becomes too important than having quality family times together, when "people" knows about the issues affecting our homes more than God, and when parties, or social Hangouts are personally prioritized to attending church services together---there is a problem.

As little as these things mentioned may sound, it has broken alot of homes.

Incase you don't know:

-TV programmes has sent alot of house wives packing out of their matrimonial homes,

-Giving more attention to phone/computer has caused alot of homicides,

-Carelessly seeking help from the wrong people has brought about third parties that can hardly be removed in marriages. and so on.

Our home shall not be a victim in the name of Jesus.

Brethren, we need to examine ourselves and check if we are guilty in any of these areas mentioned, so we can make amends.

This morning God is telling us that there are some personal idols in our hearts that has been hindering the progress of our home, which must be dealt with.

We need to know that: our jobs, electronic gadgets, friends, lovers, personal ambitions, self will, and pleasures, respective church denominations, religions, and personal belief systems if allowed, can take the place of God in our home.

" Who is Your God?" could mean five basic things, such as:
- Who are you serving?
- Whom do you create time for the most?
- What can't you do without?
-What do you fear?
- Whom do you rely on the most?

Before any member of a family should complain about the series of challenges being faced in that home, he also needs to make sure he isn't a part of the problem.

If "We" really want "Our" home to be a Happy Home, "We" first need to kill the spirit of "I, me" and begin to do "We and Us," so the Holy Spirit can abide.

God can best move in our home when we call on him together in one faith.

FATHERLY COUNCEL: Whatever that doesn't make you have time for God in your home, is your God.

FAMILY MATTER: Discuss ;how making out more times for your personal endeavors other than that of the family has helped in the progress of your home so far.

FAMILY PRAYERS
MORNING
- Every spirit of Me, myself, and I, hindering the progress of this home, die in the name of Jesus.

- Idols in my life, hindering the move of God in our home, your end has come, die in the name of Jesus.

- Powers saying no to the yes of God in my life die in the name of Jesus.

- Household wickedness against the peace of this house, wicked your owners in the name of Jesus.

- Henceforth, Lord Jesus come and be the only true God of this family in the name of Jesus.

- Holy Spirit, abide in our hearts and in our home in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
- I refuse to be an enemy of Jehovah in this home in the name of Jesus.

- Troublers of the israel of this home, fall into the red Sea and die in the name of Jesus.

- Heavenly Father, come and be the captain of our ship in the name of Jesus.

- Environmental powers that hates the happiness and existence of this home, what do you think you are doing? Die in the name of Jesus.

- Witchcraft meetings held in order to destroy this home, scatter in the name of Jesus.

- I refuse to be an instrument of the devil in the name of Jesus.

- From this moment, let our home be sweet like honey in the name of Jesus.

FAMILY PRAISE/WORSHIP.

OPENING PRAYERS (AS LED BY THE SPIRIT)

FAMILY FOCUS: Keep Your Family Private!

FAMILY SCRIPTURE: Psalms 141:3- Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

EXPECTATION: God shall open our eyes in Jesus name.

MESSAGE: The best way to make anything private is to reduce how much it is spoken of.

Openly discussing our family problems and achievements, has exposed our homes to alot of attacks and hazards. What happens in the home should stay in the home.

A happy home has alot of enemies, and likewise a not so happy home.

We need to stop discussing our children's education, our spouses jobs and our family plans with any best friends or neighbors. Especially when we know we have what the person might still be lacking. It may be tempting but even when the going is good, it's not advisable to tell about it to people. And if at all we want to do that, let it not be in details.

Bragging about the faithfulness of our spouses, or the good behaviours of our children can invite problems to our home.

Even when no one has bad intents for our home before, overtalking can make them want to teach us a lesson.

Let's Pray this prayer; powers that wants to punish my home because of my mouth, die in the name of Jesus.

Mouth selling of our home must stop!. If the good thing that has happened can not be testified of to the church, or the issue at hand can not be taken to God, then it should be kept private.

A home consist of The Father, mother, and the children. and not The Father, mother, children and "other people."

Just so we know, it is not all issues that even our children must know. For their own good and betterment of the home.

Only few people who has publicised their homes, do live happily afterwards.

This morning, God is asking us to change the status of our home from public to private. He is asking us to take it away from social media, household media and environmental media. For we never can tell where the problems we are facing today in our home came in from.

FATHERLY COUNCEL: 99 percentage of happy homes are those we don't really know anything about.

FAMILY MATTER: Freely and truthfully discuss those whom you have taken your family issues to. try checking if problems arises after then.

FAMILY PRAYERS
MORNING
- My Father, wherever I have unknowingly sold my home to the enemies, have mercy and deliver us in Jesus name.

- Enemies of my home, be exposed and disgraced in the name of Jesus.

- I shall not be found wanting for any good celebration in my home this year in the name of Jesus.

- Divine Good News, locate every members of this house in the name of Jesus.

- My head, take me to my place of glory in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

- The purpose why God has brought me into this family, be revealed and manifested by fire in the name of Jesus.

- Inside our home, outside our home, and all around our home, let the Holy Ghost fire begin to burn in the name of Jesus.

- I shall not commit the errors of my parents in the name of Jesus.

- I shall get to my place of destiny in the name of Jesus.

- In this family, there shall be no black sheep amongst us in the name of Jesus.

FAMILY PRAISE/WORSHIP

FAMILY OPENING PRAYER AS LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.

FAMILY FOCUS: Purpose In The Home.

FAMILY SCRIPTURE: Ecclesiastes 3.

FAMILY MEMORY VERSE: Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

EXPECTATION: You shall begin to see yourselves for WHO you really are, and not for WHAT you think you are to each other.

MESSAGE: What is purpose? Purpose is simply the reason why God created you in the first place . It is your calling and your mission on earth. And for every time and place we find ourselves in, there always a purpose for it. (Ecclesiastes 3:17). But the one we are considering this week and the week after, is the "Purpose In The Home."

So, let's start by asking ourselves this very important question; "have I been fulfilling my purpose in this home?..." We may have challenges of finances, shelter, or even food, and we may not in those areas mentioned. It's no news. But out of them all, which one are you purposed to help this home overcome?...

Noah's purpose was to save his generation from utter destruction, Joseph's purpose in his home was to bring his family to Egypt, that of David was to bring the throne to his lineage, Samuel was to be the priest of his, Cornelius's own was to bring salvation to his family, John, being the cousin of Jesus was to prepare the way for Christ and to baptize him, What is yours?

God has given 3 main types of people to every family:

-One who would bring salvation to the home,

-One who would eradicate poverty and be a source of wealth to the home,

- And One who would administrate the affairs of the home or we can also say the "brainy" one of the home.

Out of these three brethren, God has given at least ONE to every home to impact their generation. Which one are you?

FATHERLY COUNCEL: Children, be mindful of what you may do in your home. As your own children may do the same to you in the future.

FAMILY MATTER: Everyone should discuss their dreams, and talk about how others may be of help to making it a reality.

FAMILY PRAYERS
(MORNING)

- Let the power of God flow into this house in the name of Jesus.

- Let the mercy of God speak for this family in the name of Jesus.

- Let the fire of God incubate, and answer for this home wherever it is being for evil in the name of Jesus.

(EVENING)

- Let the purpose why God has sent me to this house be revealed and manifested in the name of Jesus.

- Let the wickedness of the wicked, wicked themselves in the name of Jesus.

- Let God arise and every enemies of his in this home be scattered in the name of Jesus.

- Let God arise and every enemies of his purpose in my life be scattered in the name of Jesus.

- Holy Ghost overshadow every Christian home in the name of Jesus.

- Our marriages and anniversaries shall be more than our divorce cases in the Christendom in the name of Jesus.

FAMILY OPENING PRAYER AS LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.

FAMILY FOCUS: Purpose In The Home (Part 2).

FAMILY SCRIPTURE: Ecclesiastes 3.

FAMILY MEMORY VERSE: Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

EXPECTATION: God shall expose the invincible to you in the name of Jesus.

MESSAGE: As a result of some fulfilled purposes in the home:

-Some people has known Christ through their spouses,

-Some idol worshiping households has been saved by men/women of God, God raised from amongst them,

-Some has been to mentor their partner, or child into becoming someone of influence that could inturn influence that generation in the future,

-Some has even been the source of education in their lineage.

-Some, due to all the efforts they put in keeping it going, day and night, they are the reasons why their homes are still standing. And so on like that.

We always recognize and regard the father as the "Head" of the home, forgetting that the "Head" is a member of a "body" that has "hands, legs, and other internal and external organs which performs various functions that he (the head) could never do without or rather, do on his own."

So brethren, we all have a purpose in our home. And at the end, everyone is there to contribute something.

We all may have our flaws and "differences" even as relatives; we may be facing storms that makes us want to regret ever being a part of that family, or question why we were sent there; we may sometimes feel inferior to each other due to maybe our individual abilities and strengths; but all that doesn't matter because as far as God is concerned, everyone is there for a purpose.

-A purpose, that can only be fulfilled while we are still together.

-A Purpose, that has to do with the home and everyone that shall ever carry the family name.

-A purpose, that to effectively, productively, and cooperatively work together, we need to start looking at ourselves more as Partners in business and as a team in God's vine yard.

-A purpose, that makes us come to the truth that "You have something I have been destined to gain from, and so do I." Amen.

FATHERLY COUNCEL: If for any reason, we should consider respecting ourselves, and being tolerant of each other in the home, it shouldn't be because of age alone, but for the sake of purpose, that it might be fulfilled, and that God be glorified in our home.

May God give to us wisdom to manage ourselves in Jesus name.

FAMILY FOCUS : Purpose In The Home (Part 3).

FAMILY SCRIPTURE: Ecclesiastes 3:1.

FAMILY MEMORY VERSE: Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

EXPECTATION: God shall kill every enemy of your Isaac in the name of Jesus.

MESSAGE: Continuing from last week, one thing every member of a family should never forget is that they are in that home for a purpose.

No one is here by chance, or by choice, regardless of their birth circumstances. God has brought you into the family you were born into not just to just be a son, daughter, or member of that home, But to influence and impact that lineage in the way he has sent you to.

For example, in terms of parenting, children only came through the parents to be trained and nurtured into God's purpose for them, but they (the parents) don't "own" them.

They may be responsible and accountable to God for the children but they still don't own them. Providing for their needs should never ever be used as a means of justification for ownership. for God is the one providing for all our needs. Thus the parents are just caretakers.

We all may have our homely duties such as : the father providing for the needs of the family, the mother's is to help him manage the home, the children are to do the chores etc. But that's not why we are bonded together. A day shall come when we all would leave each other to face life personally and for what it really is and our ability to face them and to overcome, may lie in all what we have learnt so far in our home. Therefore if we hadn't fulfilled the purpose of now, there's no way that of tomorrow can be achieved.

NOTE: The week's studies would be very short and simple. Reason is, It is intended to conclude what has been previously learned.

FAMILY OPENING PRAYER AS LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.

FAMILY FOCUS : Purpose In The Home (Part 4).

FAMILY SCRIPTURE: Ecclesiastes 3:1.

FAMILY MEMORY VERSE: Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

EXPECTATION: The Oil of refreshing shall fall upon you in the name of Jesus.

MESSAGE: No purpose shall return back to God unfulfilled except the person involved.

This morning we shall be concluding our topic with something I call: The Enemies Of A Purposeful Home.

-Every divinely ordained and purposeful home has enemies as a result of the threat it posses to the kingdom of darkness.

Such enemies are:

(1) Money : It is true money is an essential part of life, but that doesn't mean it should be prioritized. Alot of poor homes has been broken as a result of financial crisis and many rich homes as well are not living happily as a result of money being the controller of the household. A purposeful home doesn't give money attention, time, or submission. Regardless of our home's financial situation, God is telling us that we shouldn't make money our priority. Just as the bible says it answereth all things, so does it also said it is the root of all evil.

(2) Gossiping and Backbiting : As a member of your family, gossiping within and outside your home about your family issues can ruin it.

(3) Excessive Nagging: This is when there is always that member of the family that constantly complains and rejuvenate past matters in the present. They flare up at small matters and can't keep calm in stormy situations. People who nag make anywhere they are found unhabitable for the inhabitants. No one loves a nagging wife, husband, or children.

(4) Pride : In a situation whereby no one wants to submit his or her own will for others in the home is pride. Couples, whether young or old should learn to be humble to each other. Parents should also caution any senior child that uses their seniority to boss around the junior ones and believes they all should be under them. This is the type of pride we are talking about. You see, at the end the first shall become the last.

(5) Secrecy : Matthew 19:25 says two shall become one; therefore there should not be any form of secrecy between couples, or between the children and their parents. It is only he who is not doing a good thing that keeps it secret.

(6) Dishonesty : Any home that dwells in lies can not be a Happy home. If at all it is happy, it would be for as long as the lie is believed or covered. As members of our home, we should learn to always tell ourselves the truth at all times. Dishonesty is what causes trust issues.

(7) Third parties : Grand parents, friends, neighbors, and even spiritual heads should never be a third party in your home. The only person you should always run to whenever there are problems is God. A happy home is a home that has Jesus at the center of it all.

( Comparisons : Comparing your spouse with someone elses or your children with that of other parents can make them feel inferior, depressed, insecure and can ruin the home.

(9) Lack of Communication: Attention is the currency of every home. It should be given to and given back. When there is no listening ears as well as responsive mouths in the home, it can be in jeopardy.

(9) Lack of supporting dreams : Everyone should learn to accept and support individual dreams and visions in the home. You never can tell the one God would use to wipe away the tears of the family and to raise the home.

(10) Laziness/procrastination.

(11) Fellowshipp famine/idolatry.

(12) Over demanding.

(13) Extramarital affairs.

(14) Favouritism .

There are still more points to this, but time will not permit us to go further. We shall still encounter these points specifically in other topics to come. We have therefore come to the end of this topic. A new one starts next weekend, stay connected.

OPENING PRAYER.

FAMILY FOCUS: The Effects Of Prayer In The Home.

FAMILY MEMORY VERSE: 2Samuel 22:4 - I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

FAMILY SCRIPTURES: 2 Samuel 22, Psalm 35.

Prayer is one of the very most powerful weapon God has given to Christians. It can do and undo. Many families today faces a lot of problems and challenges. But the possibilities of overcoming them lies in how fervent they are in prayers. In today's devotional, God shall make known to us---the effective power of prayer.

Beloved, Do you know that complaining does nothing other than worsens the situation and causes depression? Your voice of prayer should be louder than that of your murmurings and complaints .

Christian wife/mother, you have to know that you can change that your alcoholic/adulterous/lieing husband, and misbehaving children with prayers; other than nagging at them, and punishing them always.

Also, as a Christian husband, you too have to know that it is only prayer that can change that your lazy/nagging/unsupportive/gossiping wife. and not that beating, food punishment, divorce threats, or reporting of her to her parents that you are fond of doing.

And children, with that same power of prayer, you can get your parents to give you what they couldn't afford.

Prayer is for everybody and it is not selective of who or what it works for.

All things is only possible with God, for you, when you believe He can do them. But not until you begin to put that faith into action by praying to Him about what you want.

It is high time we start telling our problems to God more than we do to men, if we really want to see solutions.

But note-- You can not see the effects of prayer :

-if you don't pray,

- if you don't fast,

- if you don't believe in God,

- if it is not fervent,

- if you don't depend on God,

- if you don't stop complaining,

- If you are still living in sin,

- if you are not thankful.

When prayer starts working in your family, people around you, would think that you are using black magic.

Sometimes with the kind of things you face in your home, you could even question why you ever got married, or was born into that family in the first place. But that is not the issue. The issue is that you take It to God in prayer.

I pray you shall not wise up when it is too late in the name of Jesus.

FATHERLY COUNSEL : Swallow your pride, and admit that it is only God that can solve your problems. Only until then will He grant answers to your prayers.

FAMILY MATTER : Settle any differences you have amongst yourselves before going into prayer.

FAMILY PRAYERS:
(morning)

1) Nothing shall stop me from getting to my mountain top in the name of Jesus.

2) When it is time for me to enjoy, I shall not be found wanting in the name of Jesus.

3) O God arise, and announce your glory in this family in the name of Jesus.

4) Sicknesses and death, you are not welcomed here, therefore go back to your senders in the name of Jesus.

5) Afflictions shall not rise up again in this house in the name of Jesus.

6) Let everything that God created, cooperate for my favour in the name of Jesus.

7) My glory shall not be captured and ruptured in the name of Jesu.

Mark of touch not, rest upon me in the name of Jesus.

9) O Lord, rub our door post with your precious blood of Jesus in the name of Jesus.

OPENING PRAYER.

FAMILY FOCUS: The Effects Of Prayer In The Home.

Prayer is applicable to everything and everyone. Don't let anyone tell you that what you are facing is not a matter of prayer. Of course, if it isn't, what then is it ? A matter of talking ? or a matter of witchdoctors ?

You see, In such cases you need to also note that although prayer is a means of communication between man and God, but that it is intended for a purpose! And that purpose is therefore anything that has to do with you. So, be rest assured prayer can solve your problems.

When the devil wants to attack a happy home, he does so by first attacking their prayer altar, because he knows a happy home is a praying home.

The family prayer altar, as said in some messages away, represents---the presence of God, the power of God, and the Church of God in the home.

Furthermore, prayer isn't for specific problems.

- it rose Lazarus back to life,

- it made Jesus to feed 5000 men (minus women n children) after blessing just 5loaves of bread and two fishes,

- it brought down the holy ghost in the upper room,

- it delivered Hannah from barrenness by God answering her prayers for a child.

- and that same power of prayer brought peter out of prison.

So, you see that there's nothing prayer can not do. Because God himself is the force behind it.

With prayer you can secure your future, break generational curses, conduct your own deliverance, change anybody/any situation, and do what seemed impossible to man.

When you decide to pray, it means you acknowledged that it is God that can solve your problems and that it is time for you to be set free.

As a matter of truth, God gains nothing from prayer. We are the ones who gains from it. He only gifted us with it as a means of getting him to provide for our needs, and reaching out to him whenever we want to.

Prayer can never be underestimated.

Those who doubt, mock, or don't believe in prayer are those who have not yet experienced the power of prayer in their life.

But if you would decide that your case will be different, God can make yours an example to them.

In conclusion,

Prayer is not just the key, it is the master key. Meaning--- it is that one key that can open every door . so I ask beloved, what door are you presently knocking? Is it the door of financial freedom, academic excellence, promotion, fruit of the womb, marital faithfulness? Whatever the case may be, the master key (prayer) can open them.

Prayer, is seeking divine intervention to your situation.

May our prayers be speedily answered in the name of Jesus.

FATHERLY COUNSEL : You can only under-pray, but you can never over-pray.

FAMILY MATTER : Share with one another, testimonies of answered prayers.

FAMILY PRAYERS:
(morning)

1) Curses issued by my parents against me, be nullified with the blood of Jesus in the name of Jesus.

2)By the power in the blood of Jesus, I separate myself from every Satanic influence within and around my life in the name of Jesus.

3) Anointing to excel, come upon me by fire in the name of Jesus.

4) Strangers in my body, jump out by fire in the name of Jesus.

5) Father of unity, arise in your power, and reunite every broken homes in the name of Jesus.

(Night)

- I shall not go back to yesterday in the name of Jesus.

- My past shall not be better than my present, in the name of Jesus.

- The will of God for this home shall overshadow every other will, in the name of Jesus.

- We shall never experience Joy famine in this house in the name of Jesus.

- O God, arise and empower every parent that is failing in performing their duties in the name of Jesus.

FAMILY FOCUS : THE ENEMY WITHIN.
FAMILY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 26.
FAMILY MEMORY VERSE : 2 Thessalonians 2:8- And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
EXPECTATION: The Lord shall expose your evil doers in Jesus name.
MESSAGE: For the enemies outside to gain access into a place, there must always be an enemy within.
Enemies within are agents of the devil in the home. They can be used blindly by the devil, and can as well do it intentionally.
Enemies within are very dangerous and not easy to discover.
The enemy within in the home can be the wife, husband, or even any of the children.
Enemies within the home are satanic informants. They report to the devil about the progress, problems and plans of the home.
Nothing good works out with them in place. They are not always physically wicked, so don't start suspecting that stubborn member of the family. They are friends in the day but an enemy in the night. They even help in looking for solutions to problems as if they are genuinely concerned.
They mostly put up false personalities to hide their true identities.
They don't work on their own, but as said earlier ---they have a coven they report to.
Enemies within can be used by the household enemies, environmental enemies, unfriendly friends and so on.
Until their mission is complete, He or She may not realise the consequence of what he/she is doing.
Tomorrow we shall be discussing how to deal with them.
FATHERLY COUNCEL : Love is a medicine that even the healthy ones can not refuse. Treat everyone with love and the Lord shall make their hands too tied to hurt you
FAMILY MATTER : Discuss one by one, where you have all taken your family name to.
FAMILY PRAYERS

- Evil utterances spoken against my home, die in the name of Jesus.
- My Divine portion shall not pass me by in Jesus name.
- By the blood of Jesus, I separate myself from every ancestral sins and iniquities punishing my life in the name of Jesus.
- Problems that my parents faced in marriage, shall not be my lot in Jesus name.
- Let the Love of God overshadow every Christian homes in Jesus name.
EVENING.
- Heaven shall use my life as a good example to others in the name of Jesus.
- Holy Spirit, Lord over this house in the name of Jesus .
- Foundational battles in this home, the Lord rebuke you in the name of Jesus.

- O Lord, Let the devices of the enemies over every Christian homes be render null and void in the name of Jesus.

FAMILY OPENING PRAYER AS LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.

FAMILY FOCUS : THE ENEMY WITHIN.

FAMILY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 26.

FAMILY MEMORY VERSE : 2 Thessalonians 2:8- And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

EXPECTATION: The expectations of the wicked over your household shall be cut off in the name of Jesus.

MESSAGE: If you want to catch a monkey, you need to act like one. Whatever you will be doing after discovering there is an inside enemy should be done with cautions. Reason why God is not always quick to reveal them. So in order to deal with an enemy within, you need to :

1) Put your heart in order : Don't be too soft , likewise don't be too aggresive. Even if it is one of your children, or your spouse, you need to be self controlled on both sides. Whatever the case maybe, remember they are only representatives of the enemies outside and are therefore under an influence, so they aren't really the real enemies. Yours is just to stop them from being an instrument of the devil any longer.

2) Compose Yourself/Act Cool : You don't start acting all weird and suspicious of everyone just because you have heard of this message. Even if the person is revealed, physical confrontation or action is not allowed. The game is that, no one should find out about what anyone knows.

3) Pray strategically : After making up your mind to do all the above listed, you still need to watch how you pray. Whether in open or in secret, you don't start praying that "O Lord, if it is my husband that is the enemy, tell me. Or if it is my first son, father reveal it. Or O Lord, I don't trust my mother staying with us, tell me if she is the one." No. Strategic prayers are not directed to anyone but to the enemies In general. Instead you pray " O Lord, let every witchcraft agent in this house be exposed. Or Father, Let the enemy in this home, expose his/herself in the name of Jesus" , and then God can now show you whoever it is. So please, pray strategically if you want to know the real truth and not who you are suspecting in your mind.

4) Examine yourself : It can also be you. You need to make sure of a clear conscience in other not to be praying against yourself so that you can confess. That is why our family matter yesterday talked about wherever anyone in the home has taken the family name to. You might have unknowingly handed over your family to the enemies through your mouth (overtalking), associations, seeking of solution from the wrong places etc. Examine yourself, if in any way you have been, or is still doing anything (not really spiritual) to hurt your home. In addition, you can also be an enemy of the home if you do favoritism, if you are proud, if you are always opposing good things to be done in unity. The devil can be using your bad character too. That is why yesterday's message thought us that the enemy could be doing what they are doing intentionally or blindly.

5) Tamper justice with mercy : After God might have revealed the person to you, it could be to anyone. Remember he/she is still a member of the family, and therefore you shouldn't send packing, put a stigma, starve, beat, or treat them the way their sins deserve. Instead, engage in another series of prayers asking God for wisdom on how to handle the situation and make up your mind to show mercy no matter the outcome of the revelations. You can show mercy by not judging the person, loving the person, drawing him or her close and councelling the person, and even if it is the parent that God revealed it to, you can do without not telling it to other members of the family.

May God help us to be Christlike in Jesus name.

FATHERLY COUNCEL : Spiritual battles are not fought physically but spiritually.

FAMILY MATTER : If you all were to discover there's an Enemy within, discuss individually how you would have dealt with the person.

(MORNING)

- Powers planning to make me unfortunate, be unfortunate in the name of Jesus

MESSAGE:
In today's world, God has been taken away from alot of things. Gone are those days when morning assembly and songs of praises were mandatory in our pry/sec schools, Days when people still sought the face of God before marriage other than the assurance of love alone, Days when you have to believe in God to get something done and not in yourself like we are being taught now, Days when every achievement made was dedicated to God and taken to the Church for thanksgiving...
It is so sad to see that we complain about the true existence of GOD, in the midst of all the crisis being faced in the world, expecting Him to intervene, whereas we have chased Him out of almost everything we do.
Moreover, knowing how gentle the Holy Spirit is, He doesn't force His presence on people, if you want Him He stays, and If you don't , He leaves.
What we now have in churches are motivational speakers other than preachers, whom what they teach about is how to make it with 7, 12, 70 keys in life and not to Heaven.
Showing that even the Church has removed God from her focus. No wonder she can no longer see, ear, or speak His voice anymore.
We may want to ask how does all these things mentioned concerns the home ? Well, it does because if we want to make things right in the world again, we need to start from the foundation of mankind---which is the Home.
Revival starts from a person, and then to his HOME, before it gets to the Church, nation, and to the world at large.
God is sad about the tragic happenings in our generation, but He's more heartbroken at how we can still blame Him for not intervening in issues we had by ourselves told Him not to meddle in.
So, I ask--- is this the case in your home? Have you chased out the Holy Spirit from your affairs? Do you still gather to pray together and seek first God's opinion concerning the issues of the home? Answers to these questions should determine if whether or not the Holy Spirit is still in your home.
May God turn again our hearts to Him in Jesus name .
FATHERLY COUNCEL : When the Head is being removed from the Body, such body can not function properly anymore.

The Holy Spirit can depart when we chase Him out or when sin has dominated a life. Having discussed the first one yesterday, let's see how sin causes the Holy Spirit departure.
Like it is commonly said, sin is the problem of the world. It is the cause of every bad thing we are facing today. Foundations of families are polluted, believers has backslidded, political leaders are corrupt all as a result of sin.
With sin still in place, even if we decide to call back God into our situation, He would be hindered.
We cant expect answered prayers in our home, when the parents are still keeping malice with each other or when the children are turned against each other.
The Holy Spirit can as well not stay in a home that has the following :
- Mixed belief systems
- Disunity
- Bitterness towards one another
- Pride and ego.
- Unforgiveness and Grudges
- Malice
- No love for God
- No love for one another
- Conflicts
- Sexual perversion.
Brethren, before the Prophet Elijah called down fire, he first repaired the broken altar and sanctified it (with water).
Likewise if we want the Holy Ghost to descend into our home so that it can be on fire for God, we need to repair our hearts through repentance and by living a Holy life.
It doesn't pleases the Holy Spirit to depart from our lives, but you see, no one would want to stay in a place that he/she is not welcomed or in a place that is uncomfortable.
May the Holy Spirit that has entered into our lives never depart in Jesus name.
FATHERLY COUNSEL : God will not bless you, if you would use it to get back at others .
FAMILY MATTER : From what you have been taught this morning, highlight the areas that your family is guilty of and make the necessary amendments.

FAMILY MEMORY VERSE : Philippians 4:6 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

EXPECTATION: Today, Your pharoah shall drown in the red Sea.

MESSAGE:

Brethren, walking with God is basically about two things--- (i) Having a relationship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ, and (ii) Carrying His ever abiding presence with you. So, if the relationship has been broken, there's no way the presence can be dwelling in such a place. Complaining to someone about something is not the same as asking for his/her help. Concerning the issues of your life, I want you to ask yourself this question--- Have I been complaining to God more than I pray to Him?... If so, then that settles why you have been getting more reasons to complain and not solutions to your problems.

Beloved, to pray more than you complain is not complaining and then praying, or praying and then complaining. Rather, it is taking all your problems to God in prayer without trying to solve, analyze, blame others, or pity yourself over it. Every man is allowed a moment of doubt, but not for him to question in doubt. Complaining to God about any situation is like telling Him that you have been more faithful than He is to you. The bible says the truth shall set us free. We cant continue to blame the One who shed His innocent blood on the cross of Calvary for our sins while we make ourselves blameless.

FATHERLY COUNCEL : Complaining turns the back of God on a person.

FAMILY MATTER : Let everyone begin to count their blessings and count their problems and see which is the highest.

MESSAGE:
Complaints is one of the very potent weapons of the devil that he uses to keep people in darkness. He knows heaven doesn't answer complains but prayers.
- In complaining ; you only see faults, justify yourself, and more reasons to continue talking.
- In complaining ; every complainer is always blind to the truth and allergic to solutions.
- Complaining is one of the ways through which we abuse the tongue. No one who complains feels good after doing it.
- Complaining revives dead and irrelevant issues.
- There's no short way of complaining, when you start there's always a urge to go further.
- It is impossible to complain about one thing without talking about others.
- No one has ever been rewarded for complaining.
- Complaining is a waste of time energy and effort.
A happy home is not a complaining home. When a member of a family constantly nags or complains, they keep the home in disarray. Beloved, you shouldn't be complaining about your spouse's unemployment, unablement to pay your children school fees, your inability to have children, your expired rent, your children misbehaviors, your empty pot of soup, your health issues, your unsupportive in-laws and so many other problems in your home but rather, take them all to God in prayers.
A man complaining is like someone saying he has a problem but isn't admiting that he needs solution. Complaining not only chases the Holy Spirit away, but also takes away God's blessings from us, because the bible says it is when we give thanks for what we have that God blesses us the more. No matter how the condition may be, no matter how crucial it gets, and no matter how tempting it is, don't fall a prey of the spirit of complaining, but always go to God in prayers. If the times spent in complaining, is used for prayers, there would be lesser problems. The prayer of a complainer hardly gets through to God in Heaven. This morning brethren, God is urging all complainers to repent and become prayer warriors.
FATHERLY COUNSEL : if God should complain about us, who shall stand?
FAMILY MATTER : Let everyone ask for God's mercy towards those things they have been complaining about.

EXPECTATION: The Lord shall smite the cheekbone of your enemies.

MESSAGE:

It is a tragedy that many of those who are victims of sexual perversions today, were influenced from their homes. Ninety percent of what we grow to become in the society is as a result of our upbringing. Home training affects every areas of life; including the sexual life of a person. This week's devotional shall be laying emphasis on sexual perversions.

Children are very good imitators. They have every tendencies of acting based on what they see others do, while at that age. Parents shouldnt just teach them how to do home chores and be respectful in the society alone, but also how to desist from every forms of immoralities. Especially the one that has to do with sex. Even as parents, there's a stage you ought to stop some kind of 'play' with your children, likewise the children also. We have so many unacceptable practices in the home. Some of which are sexually perverted. Let's take look at them below.

- Dressing in front of each other : Parents should avoid dressing in front of their children. Likewise when the children has grown to adolescent ages, they ought to stop dressing up in the presence of each other. We are living in an age where one's son/brother could lust over his mother/sister and the daughter could fantasize having the bodily figures of the mother. Telling your son/brother to come and help you zip your clothes should stop. Mothers/sisters should avoid sitting carelessly in front of their son/brother. Some level of hugging should be restricted. We are first influenced by our immediate family members before the outside world. I know of a brother whom In the future got seriously possessed with the spirit of sexual perversion, as a result of his mother that dresses in front of him when he was young.

May we be saved in Jesus name.

FATHERLY COUNSEL : We may want to sound religious and say that these things don't count, but they do. If not to the people involved, but to the devil that could use them against us.

FAMILY MATTER : Confess to one another that one person in the home that does things that seduces you.

EXPECTATION : Good news shall locate you today.

MESSAGE :

WATCHING ROMANTIC MOVIES : Parental Guidiance (PG) movies shouldn't just be towards children alone, but also, parents should caution themselves. Don't watch what you would be uncomfortable to watch with your children. Practice what you teach them. If as a father or mother, you are still battling lust, then it's not advisable you watch romantic movies. For whatever Reasons, even couples shouldn't watch porn. The adult content materials that should be allowed in a Christian Home and kept from the children, shouldn't be the ones that are sexually corrupted, but the ones above their intelligence. One thing about children is that they would always want to think deep as to why you stopped them from doing certain things that you still do. Sometimes, giving reasons not to do something may not be enough to make your children stay away from it, until you also stop doing it. This also applies to the older siblings towards their younger ones.

Sexual Lust is as a result of what a person see's that is sexually corrupt, that continues showing up in his/her thoughts and imaginations, while sleeping or awake. Romantic movies is one of the ways through which they are birthed. Pornography doesn't always starts direct, but from watching short romantic scenes in movies and then wanting to see more. Not just movies alone but also secular music videos, secular magazines and other picture displaying material that exposes any form of sex should be far from our home. As parents, Hiding them away from your children isn't advisable. They (your children) might just discover them in your absence and keep it to themselves. Sexual perversion in the home must stop !

FATHERLY COUNSEL : What can destroy your children can also destroy you. Stop it before it is too late.

FAMILY MATTER: Search, submit and put away every ungodly movies in your home.

- O Lord, let my prayers become hot stones, locate the head of my goliath, and kill him, in the name of Jesus .

- O Lord, let the efforts of my enemies made against me, be render null and void, in the name of Jesus.

- My Father, cause your rain of brimstone and fire to rain upon the camp of my oppressors, in the name of Jesus.

EXPECTATION: Let every evil mirror erected to monitor your family, be broken to pieces, in the name of Jesus.

MESSAGE:

The devil is very strategic. He doesn't directly devour his prey, Instead he looks for ways to get through to them, in order to gain access into their lives and kill them slowly. We need to begin to understand that everything we do has effects and could either be negative or positive. Some of these effects may not happen immediately, but in the future. The effects is as a result of the forces that took advantage of the situation (Divine or Satanic) depending on the deed. Below are some other examples of perversions in the home.

- Mouth to mouth kissing with children : Incest is not just when real sex is made between family members. but also, romantic things such as mouth to mouth kissing with your children is guilty of the offence. it may not be wrong with babies , but don't do it with the ones who can already think and differentiate between what is right and wrong. Don't start giving them fantasies. This is especially common to the new generation parents.

- Bathing with each other : Parents could bath with their children until a certain age. Likewise the children with themselves. If you see the kind of play some children engage in, in the bathroom, you would be shocked at what they know. It is not good for your child to have already seen your unclothedness as a parent. Such pictures would hardly leave their memories.

- Touching sensitive parts of the body : For those mothers and sisters who play with the genitals of their little son/brother, it is not sensible at all no matter how young the boy may be. Likewise fathers who teases their daughters in a seductive way. Mothers should ensure they monitor such moves.

May God deliver us in Jesus name.

FATHERLY COUNSEL : Any love that arouses you towards your blood relation is perverted, and should be stopped with immediate effect.

FAMILY MATTER : Parents should teach their children how to respect each other's privacies in the Home.

MESSAGE:

This morning, we shall be looking at more examples of perversion in the Home.

- Ungodly Play : I have heard of how father daughter relationship started with just "Mary you are now a big girl o, look at how mature you are, you ought to have a boyfriend by now..." Thereby sending the wrong signals to the mind of the young girl. A sister who had issues getting married, after some series of prayers, was revealed to by God that she had been covenanted with one uncle like that, by him always calling her "my wife" when she was just a little girl. We need to seriously watch how we tease ourselves at times.

- Encouraging bf/gf relationships : Not even while playing should you use stuffs like these to relate with your children. They might just see it as an encouragement to do so.

- Romance in front of Children : Parents should always keep the balance between parenting and romancing times with their children. Romance should be done inside the room and parenting in front of the children.

- Ungodly closeness/caressing : This is when a grown up daughter still sits on her father's lap and when a grown up son still hugs his mother from behind, Or closely rests his head on her chest.

FAMILY FOCUS : PERVERSION IN THE HOME (4).

FAMILY SCRIPTURE : 2 Samuel 13. James 1.

MEMORY VERSE : James 1:15 - Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

EXPECTATION: Anything that wants to stop your Divine manifestation this season, is rebuked, in the name of Jesus.

MESSAGE:

This morning, we shall be looking at more examples of perversion in the Home.

- Ungodly Play : I have heard of how father daughter relationship started with just "Mary you are now a big girl o, look at how mature you are, you ought to have a boyfriend by now..." Thereby sending the wrong signals to the mind of the young girl. A sister who had issues getting married, after some series of prayers, was revealed to by God that she had been covenanted with one uncle like that, by him always calling her "my wife" when she was just a little girl. We need to seriously watch how we tease ourselves at times.

- Encouraging bf/gf relationships : Not even while playing should you use stuffs like these to relate with your children. They might just see it as an encouragement to do so.

- Romance in front of Children : Parents should always keep the balance between parenting and romancing times with their children. Romance should be done inside the room and parenting in front of the children.

- Ungodly closeness/caressing : This is when a grown up daughter still sits on her father's lap and when a grown up son still hugs his mother from behind, Or closely rests his head on her chest.

FAMILY FOCUS : PERVERSION IN THE HOME (5).
FAMILY SCRIPTURE : 2 Samuel 13. James 1.
MEMORY VERSE : James 1:15 - Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
EXPECTATION: The Lord shall curse every fruitless tree that is growing in your life, in the name of Jesus.
MESSAGE:
Some other perversions in the Home include :
- Exchanging roles with Children : Calling any of your children my husband or my wife isn't advisable. Neither is transferring your wifely roles to your daughter, a sensible thing to do. These things could get out of hand and become a reality. It is physically, emotionally and spiritually too risky. I've heard of a man whose excuse for sleeping with his daughter was that his wife was not always at home, and instead she made their first daughter to do all domestic duties in the home, and as a result, he started seeing the daughter as his wife. It is good to train a girl child in domestic work, but no matter how good she gets at it or how busy you may be, never transfer your wifely duties to her. She's your daughter not your co-wife.
- Allowing friends of the opposite sex to be with your children in secluded areas of the house : It might sound stressful or irrelevant to modern day parents, but it's important you monitor your children and restrict them from being in some parts of the house alone with friends of the opposite sex.
- Sharing same privacy : This goes for parents and their children, brothers and sisters, cousins and nephews etc sharing same room/same beds. We ought to have boundaries as to such indulgence. This is especially not allowed when children starts approaching adolescent ages and when any of the parents has been spending time without his/her partner.
- Exchanging roles with maids/housekeepers : No matter how busy you are as a mother, watch the roles you give to your house helps in your home. So that one day you won't come and meet that she's now the wife and mother.
We may be thinking; what do children know? Well, just as they are quick to know how to operate phones and catch up with latest trends these days, so is it with whatever you do in their presence. Sexual perversion is everywhere. On media, magazines, internet, tv, and even in some cartoons. With some disciplinary methods of home training, God could help your children to avoid such encounters. But when it's also advertised in the home, it becomes too hard for it not to get to them.
FATHERLY COUNSEL : There's no need to tell a child to look the other way in order to stop seeing corrupt sights. Instead, such display shouldn't be found in their presence atall.
FAMILY MATTER : Sex education.

- O God of mercy, remember me today, in the name of Jesus .
- I cut down every tree of lies in my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Evil family pattern, scatter by fire, in the name of Jesus.
- I break myself from every blood covenant, in the name of Jesus .
- Arrows of untimely death, fired into Christian homes this season, backfire in the name of Jesus.

- I shake off poverty from my hands, in the name of Jesus. (Demonstrate it).
- I shake of bewitchments from my head, in the name of Jesus . (Demonstrate it)
- I cough out every poisons from my systems, in the name of Jesus. (Demonstrate it).
- As I begin to clap my hands, let my enemies begin to run into their death, in the name of Jesus. (Demonstrate it aggressively).
- Spirit of death and Hell, in any Christian Home, the Lord rebuke you, in the name of Jesus.

Sir, please I have a question as regards " transfering wifely duties to children " how and why should that make the husband begin to see his daughter as his wife and wanting to sleep with her?

I want to believe that when the children have come off age they should be able to take over the chores with no restrictions whatsoever and at that stage that is no longer the mother's duty. The only duty shes owes the man is in the other room. Though she may come in from time to time to help out. I mean... for how long is she going to do this chores? And soon the children will all go and be on their own leaving her to the same chores again? Won't that be too much for a woman, Sir?

Its only a man who allows himself to be controlled by the devil , that will want to do such with his own seed.

Just saying though.

The bible says He that thinketh he His stands, should take heed, lest he falls (1corinthians 10:12). Meaning you can never be too careful. It's not about allowing the devil take control of you but doing what could invite him Into ones life. You may not be a killer but by associating yourself with a killer can implicate you for murder. Not everyone wants to be used by the devil, but one way or the order we just find ourselves in such situations.

As regards chores, the message didn't dispute the fact that children should help in the home. But that, "Wifely" duties shouldn't be transfered to the daughter or daughters. What do I mean? God has made the woman an help mate for man and not the children. Before the children they alone existed. Children can take care of house chores and things that relates to every members of the home but for example your daughter can not be left to take care of your husband. Even at old age, you would still be the one with him. Mothers are never meant to be relieved of their duties because their children will one day get married.

When we talk about children taking over duties it's like devising a way to make them pay for the care you are giving to them.

I have a sister whom my mum taught how to cook and do other chores like that in the house. But still, I'd say she was taught those things to assist my mum in absence or in weakness and not to take over from her. It is not bad for a child to cook, clean up or take care of the Home if they have gotten up to that age, but we can't make it their duties.

Parenting is an opportunity given to us by God to groom the next generation for Him and not to groom them for ourselves. Everything
Ought to be balanced. It isn't good when your husband has gotten used to the taste of your daughter's food more than yours. At the same time we are not saying a daughter can not cook for her father.

By the grace of God, because of the ministry am into, I have been opened to some strategies of the devil. We treat cases that are unbelievable to the human ears. We encounter stories that are alien to the average believer. The example of the man who slept with His daughter in the message is not an assumption but a real life story. The world is more than what we think it is.

1 Peter 5:8 says Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
