So i don’t know if this lockdown is affecting Form A payments.. my dad has tried to pay my fees since March. It hasn’t still gone through... is anyone having the same issue??

Cbn just gave banks approval to start releasing funds for International transactions so this week the funds should be debited from your account.

What bank did you use?
Form A takes 3 - 7 working days. However you can speed up the rate of the transaction by going back to the branch you made the transaction. I had issues during my time, this was how I rectified it.

Thank you, we were debited today...Thing is we couldn’t pay all the fees as trinity demanded cos there was a limit cbn could permit. But its enough to apply for visa..... I don’t know if it would still be accepted

Hi. I can only answer 1, 2 and 4 from my little experience

1. Irrespective of who's sponsoring you, you must submit your recent 6-months statement of account. If you have a sponsor, the sponsor's recent 6-months statement of account must also be submitted.

2. You can just print the pdf version of your PTE score report which you downloaded from your Pearson dashboard.

3. If your sponsor is 100% responsible for your study expenses, then it's expected that your sponsor's balance should hold your outstanding tuition plus 7,000 Euros living expenses coverage AND some funds to sustain your sponsor and his/her declared number of dependants after your study expenses are deducted.

Your own statement of account should then show whatever amount your sponsor have sent you so far if any, plus flows of your work remuneration if you indicated that you have been on a paid job within the period covering your statement of account and any other funds which you may have in your account.

Someone else can help you with an accurate reply for number 3. I don't want to give you a guess.

You can also go through the earlier pages on this thread. Some of these questions have been answered in some way before. Also go through the INIS pages containing the relevant study visa application guides.

Bro....quick question..

Good news :

DUOLINGO language test (www.englishtest.duolingo.com) will be recognized for entry to programmes commencing in July and September 2020. Please note that this is an exceptional measure due to the COVID-19 crisis and we will review the suitability of this test after the September 2020 intake.

We have deemed the following scores from DUOLINGO to be equivalent to IELTS;

DUOLINGO Score IELTS Score

85-90 5.5

95-100 6.0

105-110 6.5

115-120 7.0

125-130 7.5

In an effort to avoid delays for visa applications, the Irish universities have agreed this recognition with the Irish Naturalisation & Immigration Service (INIS) for entry in July and September 2020, only.

Yeah I took the test. Got the result today

Good day, please during Visa application, it's my own personal account statement needed bcuz am been sponsored and will get my sponsor bank statement of account.

2. My PTE score report, will I print the one sent to me. Or will PTE have to send it to them.

3. My international passport expires by August 2021, hope it wont affect the Visa application.

4. If am to submit my personal statement of account what should be the minimum balance in it.

Thanks

Mine expires in july 2021. We’ve gotta find a way to renew it before traveling

Hope we are all staying strong and safe?

Irish visa application requirements for 2020/2021 is currently fluid (Adjusting to fit needs and situation at this time).

Few points we will like to advice you to take note of are:

Including a confirmed accommodation for 2 weeks where you will have access to your personal toilet and bathroom- This is not confirmed yet but will go a long way convincing the visa office that you are willing to self isolate on arrival.

Also, the vfs office may be scanning docs to the Irish Embassy in DUBLIN- processing time is advised at 8 weeks but kindly prepare for 10-12 weeks.

By mid June , I think we should be set to stay putting in visa apps.

Duolingo English test is acceptable by both Universities and the Embassy for this year- If considering a January / Feb 2021 intake, please do not take this test yet for Visa application purpose.

If you will be schooling @ ITSligo and your TOEFL / IELTS is within the last 3 years, then its acceptable for both admissions and visa app* strictly for this school only.

The next weeks will be extremely busy especially from June, but we will try to keep ya'll updated.

Cheers

I would advise you wait till the Irish visa officially announces they are accepting new apps. Plus, applications will be scanned to Dublin via the VFS so hopefully response will be between 8-10 weeks.
