Why include your mom in such journey?
Isn't she too old for this?
She Should be resting by now, not stressing herself. One of the reason most people travel abroad, is to secure the future of their kids, your mom has gone beyond that level. The money u will use to process her visas, use it to take good care of her here, that is the best u can do for her.

Only your brother is qualified for this, the rest should stay back & it should be a good country, all these African countries may be better than Nigeria, but they got nothing to offer immigrants. It's better for only one person to go to Canada successfully, than for three people to go to any Africa country.

Very important to plan properly and have a heart to heart talk with you spouse. Relocation can be very stressful for many families. Dont't end up like these guys:

Waoh thanks. Please what's the cost of living in Mauritius? What's the duration of the visa and processing? Is there job there? Is the accommodation cheap and are the schools there affordable?
For Canada, is accommodation cheap? Are the schools there affordable? Is there job? Thanks hun!

I just hard about Mauritius yesterday and a friend there said the place is ok. I learnt that their minimum wage is 25k rupees which is about 250k in Nigeria. Accommodation is about 30k. Visa is on arrival but you will need resident and work permit if you want to work there and that can be provided by the employer

Waoooh thanks for this information.
Yes my family has agreed to settle down in Mauritius. One of my sister has gotten admission into one of the university there and I will be taking her there for the rest of the processing as soon as the airport is opened to fly. I will also use that opportunity to rent an accommodation for the rest of them. My brother will work to seek Job but I will open a raw food business for my mother...
Thanks I appreciate your info. I will keep you posted sir. God bless you.

Good evening Sir.

I think the first thing you're doing wrong is trying to relocate your mum, my mum is of the same age and quite strong too but I know her limits and won't even try to push it. At this age what's left for them is to sit down, relax and let their children take care of them.

Second thing you need to get right is your brothers getting the right skills. Going abroad without a valuable skill is not what you want them to experience. So what's their level of education? If possible and they have interest in tech, let them learn and master software development before leaving the country.

I'll like to talk about a country they can migrate to but that's hard without knowing their level of education.

In that case, I think the best bet will be student visa (Germany or Finland) check their respective threads to know more about the requirements but please don't give a kobo to any agent.

If they'll take the student visa route it will be practically impossible to go with your mum.

Your problem is not Relocation.

The problem is that you are a very confused person.

You are confused because within your family, you have marketed and sold the idea that your indigent country is bad and that there is a better world out there for a 60 years old to start life all over as a menial worker. Such mindset brings unhappiness and stress whenever family members read bad news or watch bad news and make them feel like leaving. It is a major cause of mental disorder. Absent mindedness while body is stuck in the location.

But........ You do not even know where you want to go to. So you do not know anything about the monthly living expense of such place and how much of the 10 million will be left after your Visa processing and tickets for 4 people. You want to go and become a refugee, cos 10m is nothing for such arrangements.

Will you stop adding your burden to other countries whose citizens sat their ass down and built their countries?

What you could do with your paltry 10m:

Have you considered intra-country relocation? There are some State Capitals where you can still get Bungalow for 6m or 7m, in clean neighborhoods, and the build a nice mini-mart for your mom with about 1m to 2m, then you all can start life there as new humans.

Stop intruding into other countries with your desperation. People built those countries.

This is a savage response but still sensible at same time.

Don't oh. Rather give Germany a shot. They should get good jobs there.

Why are Nigerians always looking for jobs?

Why can't they always create jobs? This is the same mindset we have in Nigeria. No wonder unemployment is massive.

Pls, can we also migrate to other countries to help them grow instead of always looking for countries to migrate to and add more burdens to them.
