Am sure u read what I wrote well. I said if you have alternative of people around. Morover,do you think they are bringing them back for free. Everybody is paying for their flight back. If you have people or family around in the u.s but if you don't have then come home.

KaptainAfrika:
To All Mothers who want to return to Nigeria.
You have a choice, between being in a country where you have no relatives and nothing to fall back on, and being back home in Nigeria, where you have people that can take care of you and your baby and who you are familiar with. You know your country and how it operates, you have survived this long, you will survive, don't listen to these naysayers. The US Government is not legally responsible for you, if you are not a citizen or a green card holder. Won't you rather be with family to take care of you and your newborn child, ignore the naysayers - they are the ones that will still complain that Nigeria is not doing anything to bring back willing Nigerians from other countries.

My friend told me something weird, don't know how true it is. She said a particular US POE did a saliva pregnancy test for all the females who wanted to enter into the USA. Has anyone heard of such? I just think its gross and unthinkable.

What is "weird, unthinkable and gross" about doing a safe and effective pregnancy test that will guarantee your entry into their country?

Is there something you are hiding?

Hello everyone.my two year old has a cyst growth on her neck, and the hospital said it must be removed by surgery. Now the thing is I don’t to risk operating on my daughter in Nigeria. She was born in the US.but my visa was refused cos of the 14k discount WEST HOUSTON HOSPITAL gave me. I called severally then to refund but they declined. And I was told by the visa officer to pay back the discount before reapplying. Now I want to apply again. But I’m a bit confused on what to do? Since I couldn’t pay back the discount what are the possibilities of getting the visa?

"Possibility" meaning likelihood of getting a visa is dependent on you paying that gbese you chopped (un)knowingly has been stated by the VO albeit no guarantees. You can try medical emergency visa app if that condition fatal.

The best guarantee is for you to pray to God for wisdom he alone heals not the surgeon or country you take your kid to

Your kiddo can be taken care of in Nigeria or findanother country to go but they will still require a medical justification from your doctor in Nigeria.

When last did your kid visit the USA after birth to get checked?
I pray its not cancerous and my prayers are to your fam right now

Congrats again

The worse thing you can do now during this virus situation is to travel to US and to take your child to an American hospital. Here we all avoid to go to the hospital because many who went, are dead. Also the priority for admission is corona, no place for any other health problem. BTW we are informed here, our borders are closed, no foreigners are admitted. Good luck, I am sure Nigeria has very good doctors and they can do the surgery.

I’m not planning on traveling now. It should be after the lockdown. Thanks

Will you keep your baby sick until then? Our borders now are closed until January 2021 with the possibility to be closed until January 2022. Is it a life threatening condition to qualify for a health visa? Do you know that for to get the health visa, you need to show you visited doctors in your country and they have to say IN WRITING, your baby can't be cured in Nigeria and you need to save your child travelling showing all the medical paperwork you tried all in your country and it didn't work.
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by lynniebabes(f): 10:19pm On May 22, 2020
I didn’t know about the health visa. No she is not sick. It’s just the lump. It doesn’t hurt. Well a close friend lost his life during surgery cos power went off. I wish she is grown I would have let her go by herself since she is a citizen. I just need her to be safe. I don’t trust Nigerian health system.

If it's just a lump, you will not get a visa based on it. Better look for a good doctor and take care of your baby. Power, any good doctor or clinic have emergency generators.

Watch American news, Trump says it every day. Now last days are only authorized local trips. No enter or traveling abroad unless it's repatriation, deportation or American citizens' return. No foreigners admitted in US, some exceptions apply. Try to travel and see by yourself. Everybody here knows it.

Not true. Reopen the economy yes but not allowing foreigners come in until January 2021 and as Trump says possible extended until January 2022. So unpack and be patient.

You’re not the only one who lives in America. I watch the news as well and I’ve never seen or heard anybody saying the US borders are gonna be closed until 2021 or 2022. Stop peddling falsehood. On the contrary they want to open borders real bad cos tourism brings a significant portion of revenue for a lot of states including the I live in.

Link one article of news from a reputable source that specifically addresses your claim of the US borders being closed until next year and I’ll believe you.

I don't need to, this is a forum where we can inform people, believe it or not, I don't care. Travel and get sent back. I will be happy to see how you learn from your own mistake.
a hint, try to use YouTube.

I just rolled my eyes so deep in my sockets. Which mistake? Travel to where? I only asked you to support your 2021/2022 claims with a verifiable source. Who doesn’t know YouTube is full of people who can make up their own version of news? YouTube is news now? What will I not see on Nairaland, lmfaoo

It’s like you think everyone who comments here lives in Nigeria. I live in America too and I haven’t heard your claims being mentioned anywhere. If you can’t support your claims with a verified source, I highly suggest you stop saying things that are untrue. Stop lying under the guise of “informing people”
FYI: local flights are still operational. Which one is authorized local trip? I was at LAX last week and it’s still operational albeit with very little passenger volume.

US Travel Ban May Last Until 2021
international travel will be very challenging until the coronavirus pandemic is over worldwide in 18 to 24 months (once we have herd immunity, preferably through a vaccine or the virus has gone through the population).

It is challenging for leisure travelers to plan trips due to possible second or third waves that may suddenly make transit points non-accessible or destination countries borders closed or requiring quarantine upon arrival.

I would be very hesitant to book any travel now beyond domestic within the United States or perhaps within Schengen countries in Europe (for later this year).

Perhaps it is better to start planning for trips in 2021 and just write off 2020
