tunize: Nigerian banks is filled with criminals. I opened a personal bank for the first time in a long time in Nigeria some months ago. Within 2-days individuals started calling me in attempt to scam me asking for my GTB bank account details, in their usual style. The only individuals or entity that had my Nigeria phone number are few friends (less than 20), family members, and GTB. I don't reside in Nigeria. The banks are operated by scammers themselves. Do you see how they slam you with bank charges. They even went ahead to issue a cheque to me without me requesting one and they charged me for it. I refused to pick up the cheque book. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Okoroawusa: Dimwits like you are why the Yoruba race seem to sound and look backwards these days. Did you read the article at all or did your brain skim through it? because I'm beginning to think you either comprehension challenged or simply being intentionally mischievous. The man's already got allegations of misuse of official powers, diversion and misappropriation. Is he supposed to be diverting contracts to himself and executing while serving as a public servant? May being a party stooge not rob you of your destiny and the greater things of life. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeria will be a permanent 3rd world country with politicians like these running the country. The sad thing is 99.9% of the politicians in Nigeria are truly Thieflicians only out to enrich themselves and their cronies. Time for people to rise up and fight for their country if not Nigeria will be a permanent 3rd world. 2 Likes |

Okoroawusa:He could have 100 accounts, nobody cares. The undoing is that many of them were in DIFFERENT NAMES tied to the SAME BVN. I once tried to collect loan with my mum's BVN with her approval, but the loan company declined it, as the names did not tally despite having the same surname. Someone bearing Obasa today has an account with Gabriel Savage as name? Classic money laundering 5 Likes 1 Share |

Golan007: Are you using your brain? The same BVN will appear in all the bank accounts even if the names and dates of birth are different. That is the only way Saharareporter and their source know it is the same individual aside from the photos which they may not have access to. It is because of criminals like Obasa that the BVN was created, aside from other security needs. Normally Mr Obasa and his close accomplices that operates the bank account for him will have a list of the account numbers with the names. Remember you have to fill withdrawal forms or deposit forms. How will you remember all the names to use for a specific bank activity without a list. I think what we are seeing is just one of such lists. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Okoroawusa: Look at him defending corruption. In your haste to support the corrupt man you ended up confusing yourself. In one sentence, you claim to have 9 accounts with one BVN, in another sentence you claim it is 3 accounts in 3 banks. Don't sell your soul to the devil because of peanuts. Nigeria has been looted to oblivion yet people like you still support them. SMH! 3 Likes 2 Shares |

ajl: Stop making stupid assertions. The 2 separate details show one belonging to Obasa yet no BVN was shown. For the account belonging to Savage and sundry other businesses a single BVN was shown. What corroborated both parties? It has to be the BVN but it was not shown for Obasa. |

da3pu0: See Grammar. You ignored the most important part of the story, which is multiple names and multiple dates of birth linked to the same BVN. That is the story. You can be Dangote if you like. That act alone is criminal. I am sure even Dangote does not have up that number of bank accounts tied to his personal BVN. People who work for their money don't act like common street criminals. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Golan007: Olodo! Your brain is frozen. BVN is a confidential number that can never be displayed for public view. There is no way Saharareporters will display it as they will be breaching Obasa privacy. They can be taken to court for that and they will loose. The only way their story is solid is because someone working against Obasa who is supplying them the documents has the BVN, so Saharareporters has the BVN too but will not show it. Kindly post your BVN on this site now if you can. 1 Like 1 Share |
