Tap water is safe to drink but people have their own personal preferences.
For me, when I'm in London for work, I don't drink tap water. It doesn't have a good taste and I think it's because the water is hard. But when I'm at home in NE Scotland, tap water it is.

Good Morning everyone.

This is a weird question but I just want to know, what type of water do you guys drink at home?

I was advised that tap is safe. I've also read a couple articles/forum comments on the Internet saying that UK tap is safe for drinking at home.

I just want to make sure I'm not alone wink

The tap water is safe to drink but I personally prefer to buy bottled water.
the 17p ASDA or Lidl water is good or you could go for SASKIA from Lidl which I think is £1.09 for a pack of 6.

Wow! That's cool. Unlike the initial no-fee 1 year renewal they offered the frontline workers whose visa renewal fell due between March and September which excluded their dependants!
yeah, i was gutted as it did not extend to me, as mine is expiring by December, but the IHS waiver comes as a relief.

from Day 1 in UK, i have always relied on either Lidl or Aldi’s 17p bottled water. Water from my tap tastes minging.

Most Definitely.. it includes their dependants

Has this been officially decided. .... UK likes immigrants money more than anything. Are you not sure they would say only the NHS applicant

No one knows yet. Dependents are unlikely going to be part of it . But no one knows for sure yet.

There no rule that withdraws citizenship if someone leaves UK...... I dont think any country for that matter have such rule

However indefinite leave will lapse if you stay outside the UK for 2 or more years (5 or more, if granted settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme) at a time. ...... maybe this what you mean

I drink tap water and have been drinking it for years. It's safe to drink. If I don't fancy tap water, I drink orange juice instead.

Sainsbury's and Tesco also have the 17p bottled water. You may not like the taste of Sainsbury's but eventually you will get used to it within a few days. They all have their own brand but to me the taste sometimes differs.

I boil my water, cool it. Then garnish it and drink away.

Besides I'm not keen on consuming DEHA and I try to reduce the amount of plastic waste in circulation.

Your choice Las Las .

Do you still get water-satisfied after drinking it this way? Like, doesn't it feel like you've just had juice or something?

Naa fam.. Boiled water always tastes funny to me. So I mask it up with these or just freeze the bejesus out of it.

I'm actually quite used to the taste of these now that ordinary water just not fun anymore.
