Lol

Some Christians don't know that much of the directions contained in the post ascension New Testament are in forms of counsels, recommendations and guidelines, NOT LAWS.

That is why many of them are conflicting. Peter and Paul did issue some conflicting 'ordinances' to their respective followers. Same for Apollo and others. But I believe the words of Jesus himself should be held supreme.

Jesus said that food intakes cannot make a man unclean, and he also went into the houses of unbelievers and shared meals with them.

Peter once thought sharing meals with non Jews is an unclean act, hence he was discriminatory. Paul once criticised him for this.

Another Apostle advised thus: Do not be unevenly yoked with unbelievers, yet Jesus wined and dined so much with unbelievers that rumors were rife that he was possessed by unclean spirits.

Peter and Paul advised One Man, One Wife cos they were One-wifed and celibate respectively. Other Apostles cared less about this and only reiterated mutual understanding between couples.

There is only two laws that Jesus left for us: One, Love the Lord Your God with all your heart and might; two, Love Your Neighbor as yourself.

Any other things are merely suggestions, to me. Including tithes which was a practice if the abolished Levitical Priesthood!

It only fake believers that practices what you are doing. Go to the north, you wouldn't see any Hausa/Fulani moslem accepting easter or Christmas meat(food) from Christians.

You can also visit the former eastern region and check if you will find any indigenous Christian accepting food or meat from moslems during their festivals

Yorubas are our major problem in Nigeria as a nation. They don't know what is abomination is religion or politics. No different between Yoruba Moslems and Christians. They can freely share their place of worship with each other. The will eat anything eatable and married themselves regardless of what their religious holy book said. Yoruba attached no value to their religious belief but their personal comfort
hate to break it to you. The only tribe I felt av evolve for the better is the Yorubaz. Thou I'm fulani

I already read that verse. but I need to hear your thoughts.
I feel since There is only one God, and this one God is both the God and Father of Jesus and the Lord Jesus himself. Because Jesus is Lord, idols are themselves nothing, following the tradition of the critique of idolatry in the Old Testament. We have nothing to fear, and nothing to worry about—and we are therefore free to eat whatever food we like, without any anxiety.

Oga forget one God....

What the Muslim calls Allah is not what the Christians Call God ..

Don't be deceived

I don't have problems with my Muslim colleagues or Neighbor. They should check themselves
During Easter celebration none send greetings but they are quick to say thank you when I wish them on their own celebration.

So because of hunger, you are ready and willing to sell your birthday as Esua.
I understand it hunger and the aroma of the coming moslem festival that inspired you writeup.
Before you exchange your soul with 2pieces of meat and a plate of amala or rice, please kindly read 2Cornth 6:14-18 "

"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18

So who told you that you will miss heaven because you eat food from an unbeliever. The only reason you will miss heaven is Not accepting Jesus as Ur permanent Saviour, every other thing won't make you miss heaven.

Why are we sooo religious that we tend to forget what is needed to make heaven. So you think if you only eat with Christians will make you to enter heaven than if you eat with a Muslim. I laff in Spanish.

Jesus Christ ate with unbelievers and it didn't affect his ministry on earth. So if Ur faith can carry the eating pls go ahead, but if you can't, then stay off it.

But whether you eat or not does not determine your eligibility to make heaven

I think we should have issues with personality than religion, be you Christian or Muslim or traditionalist shouldnt be our problem,if you are a good cook then im gonna be in your house for dinner, if i have travel plan to Saudi Arabia maybe you can teach how to read Arabic and teach me the basics to help me communicate then i get there. I am not gonna be hating anyone for religion practice,Buhari and Osinbajo are working very closely in Aso rock sharing your money you are busy hating someone that can help you learn and grow.

It's considered a bit of an oddity for Christians to feast with moslems in iftar feast.

Today, I joined my friends in their iftar feast. It’s called being polite and a good neighbor. For years, I have invited Muslim friends to attend our Easter party and they have graciously attended year after year. So when they have a potluck when their month of fasting ends, I go to their party. It’s a Jesus thing. I wish more Christians would reach out in love as Jesus did.

Ok, That's my opinion, I need to hear your thoughts on this.
To that effect, I think it's wrong to share in their feast (I even had a spat with my wife) it's because to what basis is their feast to what God?

It is not out of place for anyone to eat from either Christian or Muslim home during any of the celebrations,I am Muslim, one of my closest friends of over 30yrs is strong Baptist,he Comes around during big Sallah (iléyá) And I do go to his house during Xmas.
In the past I with another Muslim friend usually slaughtered their New year goat.
Food from other Religion body is not Sacrifice,Allah has never forbid me from eating their meal.
So if you find anyone who tells you otherwise, know for sure that they are these confused Pentecostals who are hell bent on destroying the interreligious relationship.

Op, do not listen to what these hypocrites are saying. Just because you’ve a clean heart and would felicitate with your neighbours does not make you unclean.

You see, in my family I have relatives, Very close that are traditional worshippers, Muslims and Christians.

I felicitate with them on their days and they do the same With mine. It’s all love!

Remember, love thy neighbour as you love thyself.

islam belongs to satan so avoid all that comes from the devil and its worshipers. By eating their foods you give them the wrong impression that they are on the right path. They will hate you for it someday when they die and discover the truth that you failed to lead them to God.if you love them help them make heaven. Islam, paganism, hinduism, atheism all belongs to satan . Only christianity in Jesus christ leads to heaven.

well I Ave stayed in the north from Zamfara, Kaduna, Plateau, Nassarwa, Sokoto, Katsina for more than 22yrs.
you have no knowledge of the north.
they accept the Christmas or Easter food with small chops.
because it's just food to them thats eaten to sustain hunger.
no special ties to it

if you don't know something abt something don't speak ill of it.

I guess you Ave never stayed in the North
