That so negligent of them..Please don’t sue but you can go over to the hospital and Abuse them verbally so everyone can hear and learn then you head back home...If you sue them it can cost you a lot but it’s actually your right |

yusfatedeeprof:U get sense too much. Leave the suya. He doesnt know the table can turn, and he can end up paying claims for defamation. Nigerians are very Funny People. Haba! I maintain, that, that isnt a wrong prescription. Tell us the name of the cream Let me tell u why and how u will lose the case b4 is heard. Diaper rash is amonium dermatitis and there is a protocół to its management in that age Group. That Dr isnt wrong until u tell us the name of the cream Truth is that u read that leaflet, with all the garmonts of write ups pharmacitical industries write. U didnt tell us the clauses around it, u propbably have refused to mentioned other things around that line u read. Now u wan to run to sue, not even to go back to the hospital. Baba go and seu.. Keep us posted when the matter is heard and judged. |

Does the cream given match the prescription? If not, it's the pharmacists fault. Not the hospital. |

Before you sue ; I would like you to answer the following: Do you have your baby folder/electronic data password. Do you have the doctor's prescription bearing the name of the hospital, or his signature itself? Can any of the hospital workers attest that they knew,or have seen you even close to the gate? What are your evidence? If you only think having that cream can take you to the Court, then good luck.. You might end up losing every thing including life if care is not taken... I will only advice you to sort things out with the owner of the hospital if possible.....Besides, It's only a few antifungal cream e.g Tribotan cream that is recommended for children..Not really that others when used are extremely harmful...Just that it might be that children were not used for it research study to rule out its effectiveness on them... Can we know the cream? |

Doktajay5:God bless you. I just tire for Nigerians. Rather than considering approaching the Doctor to clarify issues he came here to rant. Make e go sue now. He thinks e easy like that. Mtcheeeew |

Check out the Small Claims Court in Lagos. I think they handle cases up to N5 million. Will be cheaper and faster and the judge will lean towards ruling in your favour. Plus it will be cheaper for the hospital to settle with you than spend N20 million on lawyers. SolarEdge: |

I can assure u that u will NEVER win that case if u choose to sue them. Many are just here shouting and giving u wrong advice to sue the hospital.. First no harm has been done because u never applied the cream on your child that caused any affliction..There are several medicolegal technicalities in this case which u do not know. Secondly, your case will continue foot dragging in court for long without any reasonable output. Save your money and time & go back to lay ur complaints to d doctor or pharmacist... |

Just go back to the hospital with the drugs and see the doctor that prescribed the drugs and let him know that the cream isn't for children..... hear him out whatever he says will determine whether you will take a legal action or not. |

This is why it is good to always read the usage of any drugs before using it. Lots of people don't read it after receiving |

yusfatedeeprof:Depends on the adverse effect the drug cud possibly have actually. If its ment for adults bt relatively harmless to the child for certain reasons like dosage applied it still ok. If i wud cause sure damage once used then it doesn't need to be used b4 u sue whoever prescribed it. |

Oga just relax, return this cream and ask for the right one or your money back. You don’t have any standing to sue them, the highest you can do is to report them to medical bodies, even that is a waste of time, paper and pen on your part. To sue, you must show damages. You didn’t use the cream and it did not cause any harm and boldly written on the cream as you have attested to is the word ‘for adult’. It might have been a mistake and a mistake that though had the potential to cause huge harm to your kid but thank God it didn’t not. In court you have to proof actual damages suffered and not potential damages averted. |

SolarEdge:Thank God you checked! Some Doctors are just after the money they will bill you. Last week, I wasnt feeling too well. So I tried talking to my Dr in FMC Abuja (VIP section). Even before our conversation, she told me the VIP section is closed because of this pandemic and that she could consult online, that my bill is 25k. I laughed and played along. Ordinarily, the VIP section charges 5k per consultation but her current price is 5 times(25k) the normaI price. Though I promised paying her. I would Sha! Because I keep my word. Guess what? She sent prescription on WhatsApp. All the drugs she prescribed, I haven't even bought one and I am feeling better. ![]() I got to find out that I was reacting to the ginger tea I drink every night. Inorder to boost my immunity because of this pandemic, I took raw ginger for over a month and it affected me, I couldn't sleep, I had palpitations and was really restless. Immediately I stopped taking the raw ginger tea, my nervousness reduced and I'm getting better every day. Please don't take too much ginger, it affects your nervous sysytem. Even the doctor that billed me 25k didn't know about that. ![]() |
