That's what the suits that look like dry grass are for. Unless you have a thermal scope or magical eyes you won't see them up close not to talk of from several metres away.

No, the guns they have are okay. Forget what you see in movies, real hunter guns ain't that beautiful. With proper modifications, no sniper gun can be said to be outdated.

It depends on the distance of the enemy, as for me no Nigerian soldier should be using that type of gun in the first pic with all the budgets, Haba.

Why are they still using Remington and Dragonov sniper rifles. Those rifles are for hunters.

I will rather say they are ill-equipped. The training is not that bad, I've encountered many of them.
Many Nigeria soldiers can be very fierce in battle, just give them right tools. You can attest to that with their performance in UN missions.
Yeah what about their current performance in fighting off Boko Haram for more than a decade.

Exactly. There's what is called coriolis effect which I doubt these Nigerian snipers know anything about. I've come in contact with many of them, they are so poorly trained they couldn't even use a boresight correctly or perform a simple Kentucky windage. Very pathetic.

You came in contact with them for what reason or purpose?

Must you people lie just because you hate Nigeria?

Who are those celebrating this show of weakling

NA should be ashamed for using 3 decades back abandoned tools to fight in the 5G age

Spits...

Boko Haram war is a guerrilla thing and can be very unpredictable.

Besides, corruption in NA is on its apogee.

Send a proposal for a training session to the Army Hierarchy if you know so much. Make a move and see whether they will reject or accept ur offer.

BH terrorists are not state actors, they don't stand in front of you to fight face to face like regular combatants, they sneak and exploit soft targets.

Today, the US with the best trained troops and the most advanced weapons on the surface of the earth couldn't defeat the Taliban, they are negotiation with the Taliban to end their longest war ever and leave Afghanistan.

American soldiers can not walk freely beyond the green zone in Iraq after decades of presence and fighting and availability of the best training and weapons.

You obviously know little or nothing about terrorism and insurgency.

Meet the men that deliver long-range precision fire for the Nigerian army. The Nigerian army has an entire battalion of snipers divided into three classes and are trained across many different types of threat environments.

It's not just about wielding guns, sniping involves more mathematical calculations than shootings and it takes specialized training for a sniper to work efficiently without a spotter.
this one’s must find something to criticise. nonsense

Always biafrans.... They don't like anything that translate to progress in Nigeria. As soon as they saw this thread they thier mood changed

Guess what... Why don't you mind your business and focus more of your energy on equipping your biafran army.

Every single army in the world recruits more of brawn than brains. The smart ones are always selected for specialized roles away from the battlefield. Also no one does complex calculations on the battlefield. You simply have a spotter as he rightly alluded to. And as you can see, there are spotters in the pics.

True. But those traits are not mutually exclusive.

There are very many "Brawny" Nigerian Soldiers who can barely express themselves fluently. Never mind Proper grammar.
I am not trying to put down the uneducated but many aren't even reasonable in little Civil matters.

I am also not saying hire Einsteins. I am Saying don't go absorbing all youths 17 and above from XYZ. LGA. Of Nigeria without a baseline education into the Armed forces.

Before PMB, BH was in control of nearly the whole of Borno state with their terrorists flags everywhere, they were blowing up Nigerians everyday, they even bombed Abuja just a few miles away from Aso rock where Jona and he's family called home, but what's the situation under PMB?

Boko Haram is not in control of our territory, they can not set off suicide bombs like they used to do, our military is getting is well formatted and receiving better weapons and hardware, unlike under previous administration when crooks and looters stole defense funds in exchange for obsolete Tokunbo weapons, like Jona buying decommissioned fighter jets that can not fight because they did not have bomb and gun racks.

Under PMB alone, we've acquired 41 vessels for the Navy, the air force is getting new 4th generation fighter jets including 123 Tucano and the latest missiles and rockets.

Educate yourself first before offering layman talk about the Nigerian military because we are way way better than before under PMB.
Fulani herdsmen, Taraba killings...kaduna killings...IPOB killings...burning of churches...katsina, sokoto, gombe and zamfara state bandits are all GEJ boys abi? My dear, that man Buhari is cursed.

To educate myself...GEJ paid for all the weapons abt to be imported ....your hate for GEJ doesn't change the truth about the murderer Buhari
