DrGoodman:Paying not pain, pardon me. Every stats has proven Oyo to be ahead. Enugu of all places with 58% poverty rate, don't you think you're stupid? The population of your Igbos outside the igboland should be up to those inside, poverty I'd driving people away from igboland. Igboland is unproductive, let's clean up the poverty in Enugu first before we embark on media tour,,, naso we jobless reach. SW is on the league of it's own. The best thing for you guys is to go back home to develop Alaigbo. |

seanwilliam: The Igbos built countless slum cities in Enugu, Owerri, Aba, Awka, Onitsha, Abakaliki and Nsukka just like the Ibadan people did. The only difference was that while Enugu and other Igbo cities were demolishing and renovating all old buildings, Ibadan stood still if you go to most of the places Igbos had old structures, they are being replaced daily, sons tearing down his parents house to replace it with a new one. Or just change the roof, windows and repaint the house. To be fair to Ibadan, it might not be poverty that made them to freeze and remain with brown roofs, maybe someone didn't tell them that a city needs to recreate itself to look modern. Hope you understand? 3 Likes |

International Airport: Enugu - 1 Oyo - Nil Dual Super Highways: Enugu : 2 (Enugu/PH and Enugu/Onitsha Express Way) Oyo - 1 (Lagos Ibadan Expressway) Railway: Oyo: New Lagos - Kano railway Enugu: Old Port-Harcourt - Maiduguri Railway Stadium: Enugu: Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium (Home to Rangers fc and host to major international competitions such as the U-17 World Cup and CAF) Oyo: Liberty stadium (Home to 3Sc Shooting stars) And so on! 3 Likes 2 Shares |

DrGoodman:The pictures below are slums In Enugu. Firstly, Nairobi is more Developed than our Lagos but Nairobi has the biggest slum in the world. Ibadan alone should be bigger than your Anambra, how do you expect the whole city to change? Nonetheless, there are slums in Lagos, Enugu, Ibadan, Port Harcourt. Nairobi has the biggest slum in Africa does that mean your poverty stricken Enugu is more developed than Ibadan? |

Re: Propose Nairaland Media Tour Between East And West by Benevento(m): 10:39pm On May 24, 2020 |
UdechiHD:See this one ooo, what a big fool you are. The airport in Airport has been grounded while the whole in Ibadan is still working. What's the need for an International Airport in Ibadan when you have one in nearby Lagos... The Airport in Enugu has been grounded. The Stadium in Ibadan is bigger than the one in Enugu. We are talking about modern rails not all these pangolo rails that are not waking. Lagos-ibadan road is the busiest road in Nigeria..... I don't know about the bullshit roads you posted. What a knuckle head. |

I mean Nairobi has the biggest slum in Africa but Lagos is still rated below Nairobi. Capetown is arguably the most Developed city in Africa (absolutely) but the slum their is next to Nairobi. Is your Enugu more developed than this two African cities? |
