dogs like that exist in every breed.
there are pitbulls that are so badly bred for appearance that the only thing you can use them for is to take pictures
their are mastiffs that can barely breath again because of this whole "box head' craze
their are gsds that can barely walk let alone run or work because of the " slant back" craze.

I believe if you want to talk about a breed you should talk about the best representation of the breed and not mistakes due to bad breeding.
every other breed is referred to with very good specimens of the breed so why does it have to be different with this one?

Don't look at it that way bro. Caucasians are far stronger than most breeds (malis, gsds, boerboel etc) due to their size, weight and bones but don't underestimate the power of a Malinois o because they actually call them mali-gators for a reason

Last year the US used a Mali to hunt down that terrorist whom has been in hiding for years successfully which made president trump salute that dog specially, he's now a veteran dog.

Boerboels and caucs would chase you and deliver deep powerful bites on you and due to their weight and size you might not be so lucky but a mali would tear your skin within seconds and you kicking them to gain freedom isn't as easy as you think bro, they're actually bred for that. Neither can you outrun them because they don't even need a big yard to accelerate as they're very very fast breed

Hi Vincent... Tried replying to you yesterday but for some reason the spambot absolutely hates me these last 3 days, getting banned left right and centre for no reason.

Anyway getting back to the point, Caucasians are slightly taller than boerboels however in terms of weight Boerboels are quite alot bigger.....

On average CO are 110-170lbs and Boerboels are 145-200lbs.

Obviously you do get exceptional individuals in both breeds that hit the 220lbs mark

Intimidation is subjective, some people will find Boerboels more intimidating and other will find the Caucasian shepherd more intimidating....

But the Boerboel is however the bigger between the 2.

I totally agree with you, dogs come in different size, weight and and looks no matter the breed.

this is wrong.. you got these numbers from AKC right?
there is actually no specific growth limit for giant breeds, the breed standard estimated limit for Caucasians is actually 220lbs while BB is 200lbs
akc reports 170lbs but others report 220lbs

on an average Caucasians grow bigger than BB, except the BB comes from a very big bloodline.
a lot of BB's don't grow as big as shown

the difference isn't that much tho, it can go either way depending on the dog but the Caucasian is naturally the bigger dog

BB's hardly reach this size and besides I've seen Caucasians that reached this size.
out of 50 BB dogs gathered from different places you won't find 5 that are as big as this if you're lucky.

Haba bros how can you say a cauc is faster than a boarboel. Take am easy na. A boarboel would have finished a 100m Sprint while a cauc is just crossing 60M.

I was speaking about average heights and weights....obviously in both breeds you would find individuals that are over 220lbs for example Afrika Sakabuka is 238lbs, Mighty Maximus aurelias is 84cm and over 220lbs........Then there are several others like my Boerboel's brother Chumba who weighs 240lbs(all fat unfortunately) and Liaka Beertjie(My dogs Grandpa) at 210lbs

There are no height or weight limits for the Boerboel.....only minimum heights of 55cm for females and 60cm for males......The weight of a Boerboel is ideally 1cm=1-1.2kg thus minimum weight for a Boerboel male would be 60kgs.

But generally Boerboels average around 65cm-72cm and weigh around 70-80kg....

The Boerboels in the video are average size.....They are Middelpos Alpha who weighed around 80-85kg(about my boys size) and Middelpos Dixie who weighs around 70kg.....

As i said i don't doubt COs reach this size however the Boerboels in the video are nowhere near the biggest

And its not me being baised, I'm just qoutung the experts!!

P. S Boerboels aren't my preferred breed.. In fact they are not even in my top 5!! The Boerboel I own is technically not mine, He was a birthday gift to my sister.... Which I take care of because she is away studying.

I've always been a Bully breed and hunting dog Fan, my 2 favourite breeds being the Bull Terrier and Staffie, with the GSP and weimaraner following... And rounding out my top 5 is the Alaskan malamute.

boerbels are usually bigger when they're from big bloodlines, on an average the Caucasian is slightly larger
