Don't be lured into getting married and having children. Children of this generation are nothing to write home about. If you must get married, don't make babies.

After suffering to train them at their tender age: pack their excreta, rush to hospital when sick, feed to adulthood, pay school fees and so on. They grow up to taunt you

There is a lot of truancy, gambling, mischievousness, promiscuity, pilfering, masturbation, lack of self-control etc amongst teenagers and growing adults. Only about 2 percent of children grow up to be successful.

I know what i have made my mum pass through, despite wanting to see her smile. She has really suffered for us her children. Addictions control right thinking. The western world has finished us

If you had STRONG GODLY INTENSE PARENTING... you would be far better by now.

Are we not both in the same generation? Yet we are very different, so pls if you need help, let us know because I refuse to believe that your life is finished and this is the best of you... NEVER... I believe you are only growing through a phase, you can be far better than your past if you are ready to try again the right way.

it depends how you raise them op.
Environment too plays a huge role.

The internet,Tv, Socialmedia, School, Friends all play a major role in shaping a child.

Expose them to these things in a highly controlled manner.

Parents are not the only agent of socialisation. There is the mass media, peer pressure etc. But i get you somehow. If parents could discipline their children well or give them their basic needs, they won't be so desperate to make it through different means

Now you get the point. In Nigeria, leadership is always a problem. From family to the government, because of misplaced priority.
As a parent myself, if my children becomes a nuisance, then I accept my failure as I bear full responsibility.
If leaders understands that the blame stops at their table then they will start taking right decision. Because I have come to realize that so called head/leaders in this part of the world make wrong decisions on purpose then look for someone to blame

okay. Include God's intervention, proper care and strict monitoring. Some acts of children these days, can give parents hypertension

My mom gave birth to 5, she struggled so much to give us care and support. Only to die when we're yet to be on our feet.
More like she suffered for nothing!

Please don't give birth to numerous projenies even if you own CBN. 2 children should be fine, at most.

BTW, I've seen a woman with 2 offsprings yet it wasn't a smooth ride for them.
