Considering the government minimum wage of #30 000, it's understandable that it can only afford a Self con apartment. Ladies, assuming a man proposes marriage to you and cares about you, are you willing to marry him in his Self Con apartment?

Some may live in self con but frugal and ambitious so it won't last.
Some will live in self con riding 3m car and living fast life.
Some live in self con and are just contented with that.
Look at what stuff he is made of and see if it tallies with yours.

He is working, I didn't even know he got loan for the wedding. That was where the problem start. Though he has cleared it... Hoping for the best

He wasn't forthcoming about his finances. Just keeping up with the jonases.

And I won't absolve you too. You would have trimmed your wedding to the nearest minimum
To hell with crowd pleasing. They are not here now when u guys are clearing the wedding loan.

That's called living above means which is fake. U are supposed to make your enquiries well. Hope u all have learnt your lesson and now cutting your cloak according to your size.
If that is in your mind, tarry a bit, u guys will get there. Also hope u are supporting financially too.

The problem we have is that we love the good things of life so much and we feel showing off is the only way we can tell the world we have arrived. Look around you and check if u are living above your "real" means or above it.
Then check if your husband is living above his means equally. Call him and tell yourselves the truth. Beautiful things keep on pooping out everyday. I am a Nigerian so I know the pressure to live according to how people want it. People won't even respect you if u drive anyhow car.
But will it deter you?
How do u save? How much do u spend in a month?
How much do you invest?
Or do u believe all the fake lives you see on social media?
Girl, there is so much I wanna tell you.....

When u go there, u change accent to americana cheesy

U guys in Lagos are low budget babes. Come to Abuja and see fake life at its best.

U will buy ordinary polo there around 7k and it's made in china but has something like Armani or Hugo on the label.
I'm sure now should be around 15 or 20k.
