But is it not supposed to be African thing? Why all to these western interferences to the point of recommending his step down.

Your African leaders see themselves inferior and bow to western leaders so, why won't they dictate and control your institutions?

Yes, I was born yesterday. Who's a toddler here? You couldn't even put a simple sentence well, and you had the nerve to call me a toddler? My dear, go back to school first! The West is more corrupt and your politicians on the African continent takes their money there to hide? The West is so corrupt, yet, Africans troop Western countries to find green pasture? You need to go and learn about international politics before an obtuse teenager like you come on Nairaland to engage strangers on topic you don't even understand.

That's a typo error. Leave my error and get the message.

If the west are not corrupt they wouldn't accept stolen funds at first. They accept the funds and create laws to make the money stay in their economy.

Amongst all the countries America and their allies are the worst. They create chaos to destabilize countries to steal oil and sell weapons. They derive riches from blood.

If you study international politics you ought to know what happened in Libya, Syria, Afghanistan, Venezuela, Bolivia etc are all western plot to take control you know nothing. You think everything is black and white.

When has travelling become a crime? So because Nigerians travel there for greener pasture we can't criticise them anymore? Are America companies not in Nigeria? It's because of people like you and our Leaders the west see us as nothing because of Visa and medical trips abroad you sell your birth right.

I don't blame you but the leaders who sold us out. What happened in Libya might re occur in Nigeria that's how it starts. Adesina is smart and they hate intelligent people who don't dance to their tone. I'm waiting for them to give okonjo Iweala to head an Agency if she refuses to dance to thier tune same fate will befall her maybe that's when you'll realize their Blame Game. no one is ever good in the eyes of the west if you don't dance to thier tune.

Bless up bro. Keep on saying it, we need more people to Educate Nigerian youths it's never too late it can begin on Nairaland.
If we don't wake up what happened in Libya will repeat in Nigeria.
Our youths believes the western rubbish media over their own and with that mentality they can penetrate Nigeria just like Libyans believed them and forsake a man that gave them the best. RIP
Gaddafi you be man.
Have you seeing them condemning Kanu despite his hate speeches? They didn't support him now because of boko haram and herdsmen crises which they know it is more than enough to keep us busy and stagnant.

If Africa start developing today, who would still be looking for a better life in racists dominated west? Even studying there would reduce. They're scared of Nigerians in particular. We have higher IQ than them just lack of opportunity which is a direct results of their decade of killing and manipulations of our leaders

I fear for Nigeria because of the youths. They're too gullible the lemming syndrome has eaten deep in them. I've been called terrorist apologist over here just because I try to ask questions and think outside of the box. All the chaos around the world caused by the West if study the root you'll definitely see the west handwriting all over for political and economical gains.

Nigeria is a very Big threat if we develop the revolution will go around Africa. And thier dominance will reduce. Africa has 30% of the world's resources most of all the companies exploiting It are foreign. If we start exploiting our resources ourselves it'll be a big low them.

That's why they do everything possible to slow Africa down. Our Leaders also have a big hand in it. Keep on sounding the music if you managed to convince one person today it'll go on from there.

I think Adesina's problem was trying.to make AFDB an independent institution.

The French and Americans have always done their best to prevent Nigerians from leading any major African institutions because they fear Nigerians would try to make the institutions Afro centeric rather than it being the instrument of Western domination of Africa.

The $3bn bond was the beginning of his end.

Apologies too I'm happy we understand each other at the end. Let's keep on sounding the Music to avoid Major chaos. If we fall Mugu Nigeria might be a battle ground for the west in the future if country like Libya can be facing war for almost 10 yrs with little population and land mass Nigeria will be worse.

It seems you absolutely do not understand how afdb works or you are not updated with the news of recent. Ethics committee of afdb had conducted their investigations, and found nothing incriminating. The committee was headed by Japanese man not African person. The committee comprises of both African and non African members. The ethics committee submitted their findings to the board of governors, they exonerated him because all the allegations made by whistleblower are nothing but false allegations. Nigeria is the largest shareholder while US is just 2nd largest shareholder, there are other non African countries in afdb, while US calling for independent probe, when ethics committee of afdb had conducted their investigations and nothing incriminating found. So you need to understand
BafanaBafana:
Atiku still wants to run for president no doubt.

To the matter at hand, the allegations against this man are weighty. While we should stand up against interference from foreigners, it is wrong to support someone just because he is your compatriot or kinsman even when he fvcked up.
As it is, Africa is not mature enough to conduct a probe in their own matters. Is it not the same Africa that a "big man" can only be sent to jail if the government in power is against him?
A call for an independent probe is in order. If he is innocent of allegations leveled against him, he has absolutely nothing to fear. It is howeve a big shame for the country if the allegations are true.

I don talk my own

Great.

Let Buhari also contact Donald Trump directly and call this independent probe off. Let him also write to the African Union and African leaders for all of them to jointly endorse Adesina. We need to exert our influence in Africa and our institutions. If the USA wins in ousting Akinwumi, that would be a big blow on African geopolitics.

Akinwunmi's offence is that he expedited loan requests for African countries which the World Bank President claims increased the debt portfolio of those countries. Akinwumi's style weakened the creditor power of the World Bank and IMF (where the United States is the majority shareholder). The plan is to get Akinwumi to step aside and the investigation won't be concluded before the election date and a stooge of the United States is installed there to do their bidding.

Now if the US doesn't get her way, they may impose sanctions on the bank (for flimsy reasons). They are protecting their interests. Therefore, after this, African leaders need to buy out the United States and review her partnership in African institutions.

I dont think the bolded is true. He increased the capital base and lending power of the bank. He also did not waste time and go through endless bureacratic processes before advancing needed money to African countries. I like your write up though. We are all on the same page.

Perhaps, the United States should call and probe Bush for crimes against humanity in the Iraqi Genocide AKA Iraqi War, call and probe Obama and Sarkozy for slaughtering of Libyans in the racist move to oust Ghaddafi, perhaps the US should treat its diabolical racist treatment of its own citizens AKA Black Americans, perhaps the US should probe and try its officials who have been backing the murderous Saudi regime in its genocidal campaign against Yemen...... Before they focus on Adesina? Or is Adesina less a human being because he is African and black?
Dont you think so?
