Finish the masters first, ican aca is of no use but ican aat can be used as two or more degrees when combined with bsc.

Thanks. How about ACCA? Any idea?

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if Lekki VFS is open for Passport submission.

Hi guys, how are you getting on this period? I actually want to throw this to the house having gone through people's posts. I have a bachelor's degreee and also a certificate having undergone two years aircraft maintenance training (more or less a diploma). Do I send both transcripts to WES for evaluation?

Why don't you go and find out for people and tell us? Since you can go outside and it's doing you kpuku kpuku to submit.

Please can anyone recommend a tutor or tutorial for ACCA.

I do not have a background in Accounting, but I am ready to read for the exams.

Also I will be glad, if you can share any resources, or telegram groups.

Thanks.

Hey guys i currently reside overseas and i will like to know if it is possible to get a Nigerian PCC from overseas or do i have to be physically present in Nigeria to get it. I ask this questions because I saw that the pcc contains fingerprints of the applicant
I got my Nigerian PCC while in Canada, I just scanned the form that had my fingerprints to the police officer and he sent the certificate the next day.

My COPR story
Hello everyone, I’m not an active member of this forum, I started following few months to our AOR.I know my story is not the regular one you get here but i hope to inspire you with it. Timeline is stated below-
IELTS- LRSW(8,8,7.5,6.5)
CRS- 467 then 475
ITA- Oct 4th 2019 then Nov 13th 2019
AOR- Dec 15th 2019
MEP/BIL- January 2nd 2020
Stream- CEC(inland)
COPR- 27th May 2020.
moo My Canadian journey started in December 2015, I was recently married and about 7 months pregnant with a Canadian study visa. I left Nigeria 27th December 2015, landed here 28th December 2015. My husband applied for his work permit in February 2016 and it was approved before the end of the month. He joined me in March 2016. We welcomed our daughter in April 2016 and with the help of a strong support system (my mum and my husband), I was able to scale through school. While in school, i heard about express entry but i never gave it much thought, I assumed it would be stressful and that i’ll never be qualified. We had always planned on moving to another province with a flexible nominee program(Alberta and Manitoba were our top choices then) after my studies. Meanwhile, I met another Naija Pharmacist (may God bless her mightily) like me on Instagram and we got talking(she also schooled here and she got her PR before me), she explained the process to me and told me my chances were really high- I was below 30 with work experience and could claim points for Masters including the canadian education factor.

I decided to heed her advice and talked to my husband. I registered for IELTS and scored LRSW: 8,8,7.5,6.5-this was not a good enough score for FSW but i already graduated and got a skilled job. I calculated my CRS and realized that I would score 467(without hubby’s ECA and English proficiency test)if i waited to finish one year canadian experience. I was not confident enough that my writing score would improve and 467 seemed like a high score to me..smh. We welcomed our son in October 2018(this slowed things a little bit as i had to take a little break from work). I started my ECA process in April 2019 with PEBC, it was ready in August. We were invited on October 4th 2019(CRS cut-off of 464) but we had to decline the invitation because we didn’t want to risk being banned due to misrepresentation (there were too many errors, long story). The next draw was a program-specific draw for the trade folks so no ITA for us. The third draw in October almost put me in panic mode with a CRS cut-off of 475! I was like: ”what kind of wahala is this?” That same weekend, my husband wrote CELPIP(he registered immediately after the draw and had few days to prepare), the following week his result was out (I can’t remember his scores) and our CRS rose to 475, I was still scared but tried to be hopeful. Thankfully, we were invited in the next draw(CRS cut-off of 472).

We booked our medicals in an IRCC-approved clinic in Ajax where we reside and it was a stress-free experience, In less than one hour we were done. Nigerian PCC was done through a contact my husband had(we just scanned our passport and the form with our fingerprints and other information and he scanned the certificate to us the next day-it was straightforward). I contacted the Director of Pharmaceutical Services in the hospital where I did my internship, and the woman was really helpful. I gave her a template for the reference letter and she followed it. I didn’t have my payslips(for my Nigerian work experience) so I didn’t upload them. For my Canadian work experience though, I attached all my payslips and reference letter. There was no need for proof of funds because of the stream we applied through, we didn’t need RCMP PCC too as IRCC has some sort of access to the database. I also didn’t upload a letter of explanation( I honestly didn’t see the need, our application was straightforward I guess).I included our kids as unaccompanying dependents and stated my reason as- they are Canadian citizens and do not need PR. The system removed them after our BIL was sent. This whole process really made me respect people with long timelines. Hmmm.. the wait is not easy oo, less than 2 months post AOR , I was already calling IRCC, the agent said it was too early(me sef know). I decided to channel all my energy into reading for my Pharmacy licensing exams, it didn’t really help but i tried. I applied for GCMS notes in late January and got it on 26th of February-It stated that Eligibility was recommended pass, criminality in progress and security not started. I was kind of relieved about the eligibility and i was sure of PR at this point because i did not kuku commit crime, so why could they possibly deny me? and besides eligibility is like the major hurdle in a PR application (in my opinion). GCMS notes was dated “1/31/20” so i thought there would be progress after a month and I raised CSE one month after, update was the same. Raised another CSE (I can’t really remember the date) but I got a generic response. On the 23rd of April, I checked my account (at this point, I was not really regular at checking my account because frankly, i didn’t see the point and it was becoming redundant) but surprisingly, i noticed that the “review of additional documents “ segment of my account had changed to “not applicable “(additional document was my biometrics payment receipt i uploaded since late last year dec before my BIL was sent and Medicals passed).I thought to myself-there’s no way someone will work on my application and not do something. I decided to raise CSE immediately to know the status of my application. I was kind of nervous about calling but i eventually did(on the following tuesday) and the agent said nothing had changed on my application. I was taken aback but i don’t know why, I was pretty sure my application had reached the final stage. The following day I got a reply from the CSE i raised and everything was passed, I was so happy, I messaged my husband at work and we were both grateful. Although i hadn’t gotten the golden mail but at that point, We were about 90% there.

May 27th 2020(my mum’s birthday and children’s day), my husband received COPR for the two of us and i thought it was odd(I was the primary applicant and i have never heard of IRCC sending mail to the secondary applicant) everything seemed legit as the letter had all our personal information but I just wanted to be sure. I raised webform immediately and called IRCC the following morning(I’m sure i was the first person because wait time was one minute...lol) and the agent said: “an approval email was indeed sent from our office yesterday”. Words can’t experience the joy i felt at that period, I did my little victory dance, said some words of thanks to God, called my husband and called family and friends to share the good news. It was so surreal, it is still surreal, the pr journey is finally over, countdown
to citizenship in 2022. Thank you Lord. I’m sorry my story is so long..lol.

08034747802 Officer Moshood, for your PCC. As for prize please do not tell him where you reside because that will only increase your fee. Send someone to go get it for you, all you need to do is send him your finger print page. 6500 is what you should offer him.

Someone should help me on this.

I have read a lot of comments and I have gained more than what I expect about admission process on this platform. I really appreciate those contributing to the success of this trend. Especially, those that give swift reply to some questions from members.

I graduated with 2.2 and I know some people say it is difficult to obtain admission with 2.2 but it’s very possible by God’s grace. Well, I have obtained more than 15 online courses from different platform on Data Science and Machine Learning which is what I want to apply for. My question is, will these online courses be of good impact in gaining admission to obtain MSc?
