My wife and our LO (though I don't know what it stands for but I understand and I'm learning) are fine.

She said she hasn't felt a kick yet but she feels the movements especially at night. I think that's okay as it is her first time.

And yeah, she's adding weight (no worries at all). Also, she has a mild swelling of the feet (I do massage them once in a while)

Lemme add: The father (I) is fine too lol

Caring father, your wife should reduce salt intake to avoid swelling of the feet.

The pain I felt this 2nd surgery is unexplainable, imagine begging and crying for pain killers because the pain was to much for me.
Mother's are STRONG.

Hi teamie, please talk to your doctor and their policy about induction. Please whatever you do, don't attempt to carry beyond 42 weeks PLEASE.

Am always a bit reserved about suggesting elective CS for people because we are different but please keep an open mind about this too. All we ask for is mother alive and baby alive. I await your BA dear

About the fart, hospital still dey do that fart thingy My hospital this time around no bother to ask o, its a teaching hospital tho. They have other indicators to know if you are ready for orals than fart. Maybe you should take peppermint sweet, it can help with gas abi fart ni.

Put a pillow in between your thighs while sleeping, you should get some relief from the ache

Present capppo we are doing fine, am beginning 2 enjoy diz honeymoon phase ms is rounding up.

So I need the gas to find their way out of my body so that I can be free.

You can take more, just chew it well and swallow. Did you take it before loading yourself with pap and others? Its always easier to release gas that way. Another option is take coke (use the cover, few sips at a time)

For the swelling of feet, drinking lot of water helps, let her keep drinking water especially early in the morning, swollen feet is water retention. It may not be very easy at this stage but let her try to take lots of water, you will see the difference.

Hello mama, 22days after birth (premature+ Vigina delivery) No tears at all. Just 1hr labor and baby came. Blood stopped exactly 2 weeks after birth. Yesterday evening, i notice I'm having a pepperish pain at my lower side of the abdomen (where the uterus used to be) just the left side only. And my stomach dey rumble. I'm Not bleeding. I dont knw why, this is my first baby. At the hospital, i was only given antibiotics which lasted for about 5days after birth. Please i need advice oo

Flat nipples: yes some people have flat or even inverted nipples...it's nothing to worry about. They're various techniques how to breastfeed with flat/inverted nips including wearing breast shells, using breast pump or nipple enhancer to pull it out.
For the scally stuff, I think you can get nipple cream and apply as needed.

Your explanation really came at the right time.

By baby of 3 weeks is yet to suck due to this inverted/flat nipple issue.

I use breast pump at least thrice daily to extract breast milk for him and when I try to give him breast to suck the nipple disappears even immediately after stimulating using the breast pump.

Please do you know where one can get the breast shell or nipple enhancer?

Though my baby is currently on formula at the moment, it is not satisfying for me plus this is my first baby.

Please help a depressed sister.
