My dear pls, kindly change the battery if that the only problem with the car. Spend extra money and change the oil and filter and observe the car. If it shorts oil in a short while after gauging the oil after service, then its obviously a lemon. Sorry for the pains to spend more. Break fluids are to be replaced according user manual.
When I bought my dad Benz I made sure I bought a new ba3 and changed all 4 tyres did oil change myself despite being assured by the seller that car was recently serviced before making the journey to the east.
Ford is a sweet ride but rest assured you have to spend more to keep it at top notch condition.
Cheers.

This shows that you knew that the battery was dead and still sold it to me.

Her claim that I did not respond to her is incorrect.

As I would always say, we prioritize those that we have collected money from and respond to all their enquiries. We responded to her earlier today before she made her initial post, and we chatted for about 2hrs. It was when we refused to make payment for a new battery that she threatened she would come here and actually did.

As a demonstration of our good faith, we have offered her a full refund for the car, but she has declined it.

This woman is actually looking for something else

The lady should discard some of your advise. Motor craft engine oil (5w20/30) and motor craft oil filter are specially recommended for Ford cars. It cost 23k or so, don't just buy any road side 5k oil and pour inside your SUV ,na trouble you dey find so.
Make sure you check the transmission oil too .Ford Mecron Lv should be used (it cost 17k).
Also, get a trained Ford specialist mechanic to work on your car, if you give it to any tom ,dick and harry , that motor no go last 1 year.
Follow these instructions and you'll enjoy your car.
And when them spoil the car she go blame no one but Amdman.

Now you see why I disagreed with her, her choice of words a too bad! Why destroy Amdmans hard earned reputation because of battery of 25k. I feel for the man living with her.

You don't need to feel for her husband though, people do things on impulse, without careful thought sometimes. It happens to the best of us. When money is involved, critical thinking flies out the window.

The video I sent you shows a mechanic working on the car in my garage. So don't play dumb.

You know what, I'm done. You can say whatever you want but the truth prevails. Thank you for everything.

You earlier said his guys took some stuff from the car.. Kindly mention the items taken... This is vital

The battery is not his fault as a car sitting that long especially with covid delays will likely need a replacement battery. His track record also does not suggest that he would go out of his way to scam you especially for trivial things like an oil change that only costs $19-39 to do here. The biggest thing I see is lack of communication but given the number of views this thread has and the number of requests I suspect he gets, I ain't even mad.

If you're that unhappy return the car as he offered for a refund and I'LL reimburse you what's left over if you provide a receipt. Then I consider the matter dropped.
You are such a wonderful woman. One more reason I follow you everywhere earnestly.. You are doing well aunty radu

U talked about a video u sent him showing u r not poor but living large, yet u chose the hard way to save cost. Lol.

Woman, just return back to those who sent u, tell them say u no succeed.

Nansense!

As shes living large I expect her to buy brand new car, on a good day once u buy toks set aside like 50k to 100k to do 1 or 2 things, she come come here dey rant on a battery that was not in use for 3 months.

Do you know I've already spent up to 100k fixing stuffs in that car in just 4 days? I bought this car with my hard earned money and should get the value of what I paid for. Next time, if you must comment, be reasonable.

Codyella, My advise to you next time is to think properly next time before calling someone a fraudster. I have bought a tokumbo car from cotonou and was driving to Enugu and car refused to start because my battery died on d express....I didn't even bother to call who I bought it from, I just bought a new battery and continued to my destination.
The fact you received the same vehicle you paid for is enough for you to be grateful. Some of us have sent money to relations abroad to buy vehicles but never received any car.
You owe Amdman an apology for calling him fraudulent. The car in question is not a brand new car so a little expenses are expected.
The amount he bought the car for you is far less what it is being sold in Nigeria.
You have refused a refund which means you are happy with the purchase but you are hell-bent on denting his reputation here.
Amdman has a weekends to replying messages which we are all aware of and I am not holding brief for him because he hasn't even replied my message since Monday but I will still buy a vehicle from him.
You really need to Apologise because this silence is not golden.

On a deeper thought, I think his offer is fair and I'll implore you to give it a thought. I must commend him for this offer.

If within 4days you have actually spent up to 100k on a supposed toks, accept the refund, even if it doesn't cover d full expenses incurred so far, and move on.
You wouldn't know what else would need fixing pretty soon.
It's better you count ur losses when they're minimal.

But if you think moving on with the uncertainty of what might happen next is better, I am being tempted to believe that the car is fine, just that you're annoyed at his poor communication.

I don't think that woman is being completely honest.

it's very easy to know those that will slap their wives because of her utterances.we can forgive oga for not responding to messages on time because he has proven himself.but we cannot forgive a woman for simply being a woman?they have already started pitying the man that lives with her....as if they have peace in their own homes and their wives would have behaved better.if only messages were responded to accordingly, the matter wont be here.if madam also wanted a refund, maybe she would have stated it from the onset.to the kazeem that is building up his site ontop ford matter, kudos.to those that also think reviews is to pull down oga,and that oga can even be pulled down at all,you guys are not well very well.

How come no one is seeing things from codylla point of view
100k ontop of tokubo car is not a joke
Besides she is a woman she needs help
For those crucifying her can your wife or Sister order for a car herself?
Telling her to take a refund for a car she has waited for for more than 3 months
Who will pay for the time wasted
If na your wife nko

It's still not a reason to call amdman a fraud, that's unacceptable. A wasted time cannot be replaced same thing with a dented reputation, it can never be repaired. It's not a joke to call someone a fraud because of 100k you can't account for and battery. This could be anybody's business.
