From madam's continued silence on the things they removed from her car shows nothing was removed, it's clear she was angry and thought she could use her review to sway potential buyers off the thread, which is very bad.

@Codyella

Please show amdman as the liar/rogue that you THINK he is by doing the following:

1. Give him permission to post the communication between the two of you.
2. Tell us how you knew the transmission is bad, since the car is still parked in your garrage.
3. Snapshots of the replaced parts.
4. Refute or otherwise confirm his reply that you didn't send him any video.

I truly feared your car has been Kazeemised.

Madam prolly overreacted because you all know women hate being ignored. Plus making money is not easy so I understand her pain having to spend extra money but her choice of words was totally unnecessary, calling someone a fraudstar because of battery then what about those that runs away with people's money? -

Isn't 4 litres of engine oil too small for a Ford edge. That car should take like 8 litres

Now you see why I disagreed with her, her choice of words a too bad! Why destroy Amdmans hard earned reputation because of battery of 25k. I feel for the man living with her.

Yes, she overreacted but her choice of words is not different from the video of the racist lady that graced nairaland front page recently. I mean about the issue of the lady faking that her life is in danger over a little misunderstanding with an African American man.

She is determined to rubbish Op hard earned integrity and I don't think any right thinking human being would watch as it is put into mud.

She has every right to be angry but her approach on the whole thing is distasteful to say the least. Options had been made to her which is absolutely good in all ramifications.

She should try and do full disclosure since she has already brought it to the court of public opinion. As for the person saying all women...., I think he committed a Fallacy.
He could have said some women which would have made his opinion valid.

This again is inaccurate. There is no such video showing any mechanic working on your car.

Please permit us to publish our communication today.

I'm suprise you are asking for permission with all this serious accusation you are vehemently denying but is been read by your prospective customers.

I just received my second order from Amdman Shaa.
Got it for my neighbor and he's become a talkative all of sudden, quick to point out how his car is finer than mine.

Thank you again, Amdman!
Still waiting for your update on the MDX...

Madam, I understand your pain. No second-hand car would be perfect buy and drive (except you are extremely lucky).

To me the battery is a non-issue. I see you've bought a new one already, well-done. On the oil change and filter, it's between the two of you to settle I got nothing to say on that.

On the 'works' you've done: transmission, compressor and power steering stand our for me. How was it determined that these were faulty? Was anything replaced or did they just "work on" them?

Codyella:
Thank you for your concern. So far, you seem to understand my predicament. I worked on the transmission, compressor, bought a new battery, the tire stabilizer keeps hanging out of the car. I patched somewhere under the car that had rust, power steering too had issue. Amongst others cos I paid for them at once so these are the ones I remembered. I bought a new oil, Castro synthetic blend, quite pricey not your regular oil though cos thats what the car uses. Mind you, I already paid 22k to Amdman for his mechanic to add it to the car. But he didn't.

I'm cutting my losses and moving on. I was running away from extra cost by avoiding naija dealers. Never knew I'm entering from frying pan to fire.
And now, after I've spent money working on the car, Amdman is texting me, asking me if I want to collect refund and sell.

I simply laughed. Man got no soul.

All in all. It's well.

@Codyella help Amdman with his investigation. Clean the surface of the oil filter and send him photos. Brake fluid is N800 or thereabout, just top it up. You can top up the engine oil too, ask for the product then get a replacement at Onitsha, bad as e bad 5ltr should be about N5k.

By the way, I advice that you should be very careful of mechanics, they might be inflating the price of things or telling you things that aren't necessary just to dupe you. N100k is a lot.

Be sure of what the repairs are, or better still, tell us about it here, we could be of great help.

The lady should discard some of your advise. Motor craft engine oil (5w20/30) and motor craft oil filter are specially recommended for Ford cars. It cost 23k or so, don't just buy any road side 5k oil and pour inside your SUV ,na trouble you dey find so.
Make sure you check the transmission oil too . Ford Mecron Lv is the best (it cost 17k).
Also, get a trained Ford specialist mechanic to work on your car, if you give it to every Tom ,Dick and Harry , that motor no go last 1 year.
Follow these instructions and you'll enjoy your car.

Amdman, I can't confidently say the woman is working with some nairaland car dealers to soil your image but I can confidently say she used your weakest characteristics against you. Improve on your communication/feedback with your client so this sort of thing won't happen again. My 2 cent

Before spending 100k on the car,
Clear videos or photos should have been taken to show the faults.

The mechanic probably sensed the annoyance over the battery and pounced to line his pockets

You should be grateful, amdman is not a scammer.your car was delivered as promised. What rubbish about dead battery,servicing...I think you just want to bring him down. If the exterior and interior is fine, then major parts like engine, transmission, chassis etc are OK and car is driving smoothly, then ur complains are baseless.the issue of rust is not new in the thread, as some of the cars advertised here have little rust......part of ur requirement from the on set should b stated rust free car.......the only issue I see with amdman is poor communication...and dats the only reason,I may not buy from him...because at all time, there should be good communication.

Since he has requested that he refund you, all these exchange of words are not necessarily really. It's either you accept his offer to fully refund, or decline.

And if you decline, it means you value what was sold to you, if not, let go and get your money back 100%.

Very simple.

Now that the car is with you, I think you'd have to buy the battery yourself. It's quite painful to incur additional unexpected expenses.
Don't let this defect overwhelm the joy of getting such ride.

I mean what is the cost of getting new battery and oil filter that some bone will not allow for a peace to reign

For sure, you did not buy naija used car. I also hope there's nothing else to fix in the car after tomorrow's check.
However, if there is, just think of it as getting your car up to standard. To a state where you won't have to worry anytime you're about to drive out. Don't think of it as Amdman's fault.
Once all of these is over, you'd have great peace of mind about your car.
What about the security of the car, have you checked that too?

Oga contact him and buy your car. He has sold many cars and no one has complained but this one. Dont forget to keep money aside to buy battery and tyres if need be. The day you bought a tokumbo car is the day you sign up to manage all that comes with the car.
Cheers.

U talked about a video u sent him showing u r not poor but living large, yet u chose the hard way to save cost. Lol.
