I see ur point, I was actually thinking along the lines of 10% to 7% retracements, mandetory 2% to the brocker and 5% to 8% extra for you while you ride the trend.

That is, if that someone can anticipate with some accuracy. Also depending on that someone position size, it wouldn't work with people with very large positions.( like you, sir )

That means you will be jumping in and jumping out.

The problem with this method is that you will be doing this till you get to a price peak and when people are selling, you will be buying. Unknown that you have entered into a vortex of rapid decline. You will assure yourself that the falling prices is all but temporary. This was what happened to guys in 2018 and 2020. At that point, the market gets brutal in sell-off.

I think @Meshpips has a tool with lots of good potential. But even the best of tools/softwares goes through regular updates/patches etc.
For some strange reasons he does not want to accept that his tool has some shortcomings.
If I were him, I will collaborate with Rabbi, OGG and co. to make the tool better.

They allow shorting according to their rulebook. The challenge is that most of the brokers (at least the ones I've inquired from) don't offer the facility. If anyone knows of any brokerage that allows it, please advise.
