I hope JW rethinks the transfusion issue. There is no excuse at all for not trying to fight for the lives of your loved ones. It is so babaric to have a well known cure used for centuries and claim it to be unsafe. Op, millions of people have been saved by blood transfusion.

If transfusion is wrong and JW put their faith of healing with God, why bother to even take paracetamol when you have headaches? Why bother to treat other ailments at all? The blood is passed into the body, you're not drinking it. You do not get high from it, it saves your life so why?

I believe in the One God but religion should be followed with common sense. Know your God before you worship Him. If it doesn't sound, feel, smell, talk and look like Him, then it is of man. Believe it or not, man is far from perfect, very infallible, sometimes deliberate and sometimes not. Have mercy on your kind and save their lives. Blood transfusion has saved lives and people have lived their lives to the fullest like they never even required one before by the time they recover.

God values blood. Ask yourself: does death end it all? We Witnesses have a broader view of death. This life is not all there is.

OP how do you answer this? :

Christ told his disciples in Acts. 1:8, : But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. ” Acts 1:8 NIV
Now instead of witnessing to Christ, you people claim to be witnessing to Jehovah. Are you people Christian, or some other sect apart from Christians?
1. It identifies our God. According to ancient manuscripts, God’s name, Jehovah, appears thousands of times in the Bible. In many translations this name has been replaced by titles, such as Lord or God. Yet, the true God had revealed himself to Moses by his personal name, Jehovah, saying: “This is my name forever.” ( Exodus 3:15) In this way, he distinguished himself from all false gods. We are proud to bear God’s holy name.
.
2. It describes our mission. A long line of ancient people, beginning with the righteous man Abel, bore witness about their faith in Jehovah. Throughout the centuries, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Moses, David, and others joined this “great cloud of witnesses.” ( Hebrews 11:4–12:1) Just as an individual may bear witness in court in behalf of an innocent person, we are determined to make known the truth about our God.
.
3. We are imitating Jesus. The Bible calls him “the faithful and true witness.” (Revelation 3:14) Jesus himself said that he ‘made God’s name known’ and kept ‘bearing witness to the truth’ about God. ( John 17:26; 18:37) Christ’s genuine followers must, therefore, bear Jehovah’s name and make it known. This is what Jehovah’s Witnesses are endeavoring to do and that is why we Witness for Jehovah.

I am just looking at your point of reasoning,

SINCE you agree that the life is full of troubles and pain, why did Jesus bring back those that were sick, including the woman with BLOOD ISSUES others having various ailments including those at point of death and those that died paapaa?

Did JESUS forget about the REAL LIFE or endless life that AWAITS those PEOPLE?

Well, we are not ready to violate God's law to try to save this chequered life.

What guarantee, for instance, do you have that the blood transfusion will save his life? cheesy Or are you even saying that blood transfusion guarantees that the person will not die?
.

What stupid law?

Do you wear jeans with silk, eat crayfish or tear clothes well you're violating God's law. Why would you allow someone to die because of laws you don't even follow consistently.

Someone who is bleeding profusely or infected with sepsis will have a greater chance of survival if blood is readily available. I have seen people die because they weren't transfused on time, what a stupid and ignorant comment to make. Maybe if you get cancer, diabetes or severe burns you should be left to your fate because there is no guarantee that the doctors can save you.

Did Jesus break any of God's law to bring back those people from the dead? That is the point. We will never break God's law to try to save our present life. Never. It's like you put a gun to my throat to deny my faith and I succumb so that you might not fire. We will never succumb.

They don't pray twice a day or rather they pray only when going out .

A fellow pastor was narrated to me what transpired between his wife , himself and a Jehovah witness member

J. W ...... Good morning ma

WIFE .... Good morning ( how may I help you?)

J. W ...... (introduction ) I have come ma to speak to you about
about the gospel

(the J. W started preaching and the wife cuts in )

Wife,........ sorry , would I have preferred you pray before you
start preaching

J. W .... No madam , I have prayed before coming out

Wife ..... sorry pls ...... my faith requires I (we) pray in
everything and everytime

J.W ...... I can't do that madam ... I have prayed once

After some minutes of discussing whether to pray or not ( the husband come out to end the discussion

Husband ....... My wife said you should pray before preaching, that it negates her own faith...... pls if you can't pray before preaching , you can now take your leave .

THAT WAS THE END OF THE PREACHING

You don't have to lie to attack a religion. No Witness will reply that.

Lol....I told the Jesus is God, I proved it with Isaiah 9:6 where Isaiah called Jesus Mighty God.

In their response they said Jesus is Mighty God while Jehovah is Almighty God. They claim Almighty is greater than Mighty.

In my response, I quoted Jeremiah 32:18 where Jehovah is clearly called great and Mighty God.. Inshort Jeremiah went further to say that the name of the Mighty God is Lord Almighty.

Finally I asked them to clarify this, guess what? They took off

Truth is you can argue all day or you can open up to the truth.

I'll point you to verses that undisputably point to Jesus rising in flesh.

And He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Touch Me, and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet (Luke 24:38-40).

Understand that he said, "for a spirit does not have flesh or bones"

That verse would have been enough to quench this conversation but no, you will try and come up with anything to support your believe.

So the Jews said to Him, “What sign do You show us for doing these things?” Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” The Jews then said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?” But He was speaking about the temple of His body. (John 2:18-21)

Noticed he said, destroy this temple. And I'll raise it up again in three days. Temple here meaning the physical body of Christ.

And while they still disbelieved for joy and were marveling, He said to them, ’Have you anything here to eat?’ They gave Him a piece of broiled fish, and He took it and ate before them” (Luke 24:41-43)

He ate to prove to them that he was with them physically and of course spiritually

Jesus went to extra length to prove this point. Because he knew people would come someday to try and prove that the resurrection was only spiritual.

Again, he said, "touch me and see. For spirits do not have flesh and bone"
Unless if Jesus was deceiving the apostles by making them believe he resurrected physically when it was spiritual.

One thing you cannot argue with here is that Jesus was making effort to prove to the apostles that he resurrected physically.

The burden of false interpretation is on you and your organization
John 6:51,Hebrews 10:10, if Jesus resurrected physically, then what did he sacrifice as offering for your sins?
If you give offering for your Church, you dey collect back your offering? (Think ooo , God give you brain...)

Spirit doesn't have flesh and bone, you be flesh and bone, why you no fit appear and disappear at anytime ? grin grin grin
(Think about it seriously....)

Have you ever asked ,Why Mary Magdalene and the early Christians could not recognize Jesus Christ on several occasions when he appeared in their midst and spoke to them?
John 20:13-16. John 21:4.

Angels are spirit beings. Why were angels able to meet Mary Magdalene in the flesh and speak to her? John 20:11-13. Hebrews 13:2
(Use your brain and think. God help you....
If you understand that, then you will understand how Jesus appeared to his apostles in the flesh.)

1Cor15:44-47,
"The last Adam Jesus Christ is a life giving spirit"
Is that not clear enough?

1 Peter 3:18 ,says Jesus Christ was put to death in the physical realm and God raised him to life in the spiritual realm.

Peter was an eye witness of Jesus resurrection.
Was Peter LYING?
Shalom
