I joined the Warner Music bus that did an ipo yesterday. Is anybody looking at it for a short swing?

If history is anything to go by, after an IPO shares tend to rally. It was $27 now $31, but there are quick money in other sectors.

I’m doing +20% on DAL already even after buying more twice at a higher price.

My Spirit (SAVE) is up +60% and I think the market isn’t too overcrowded yet.

I finally opened a trade with TD Ameritrade today after reading all the pages. You guys are an inspiration.

I've a couple questions:

I haven't traded stocks before so I invested $2000

Then I bought 25 shares of American Airlines, 25 shares of United Airlines, 25 shares of Delta Airlines & 25 shares of Southwest Airlines.

Do you think these are good stock?

I'm planning to hold long term till at least December.

If travel resumes then the stocks will fly.

What about Bankruptcy?
Can all four airlines go bankrupt as the same time?

I feel like all four airlines are too big to fail and the government will bail them out before the go bankrupt

What do you think about hotel stocks like Marriot?

I'm also planning on investing in that sector long term but just wanted a different opinion.

I’m glad you didn’t sell your DAL shares last week when you wanted to.

Like I said before as more states & counties begin to open expect these airline stocks to keep flying.

I’ll keep on adding to my position little by little.

We see how high we cruise.

The cruise is now at an altitude of $31.87.
Am thinking we arrived this altitude too quickly.

For now, SAVE is selling at a Price-Book Ratio of 0.5x compared to the US Airlines industry average of 0.8x. If it gets to the level of industry average, I'd begin to suspect saturation. However, I would still look at its closest competitors to make a final decision.

Furthermore, SAVE's PE ratio is 4.7x which less than the industry average of 7.9x, so it's still selling below its fair value.

It also has a beta of 0.37 making it very less volatile, although it's a double-edged sword.

Southwest (LUV) to me is getting crowded so I would not buy more for now as much as SAVE. It's TTM PE ratio is 8.59 for a beta of 1.41. So, it's fundamentally selling at a higher price than SAVE even with a bigger beta. It's P/B ratio is also 1.9x which means it's selling at a premium and above the industry average.

I also consider LUV and SPIRIT to be substitutes since they are both low-cost carriers. Maybe its time for some portfolio rebalancing.

This is getting confusing. Hahahaha, imagine, AAL with one of the worst balance sheets in the industry was the highest gainer for the day. 41.25% in just one trading day!!!. Is the cure for COVID-19 out? Any news about international flights resuming? I took the risk, and it paid off.

Hahaha, I missed DAL but I dey gidi gba inside AAL and JBLU all from their bottom prices. I will have to exit a certain percentage of my AAL tomorrow. More than 40% in just a day! O'boy. I need to repatriate some of AAL funds straight to NSE
