Html is not a programming. The fact that you give your browser instructions with it doesn't make it a programming language cause it like saying your Microsoft world is a programming language cause you can style and format text with it. That's what html does it's just to format text. And that is why it need javascript to help in handling functions and calculations. 1 Like |

nurain150: Mind you, I just created a software not a software application.... an application is meant to control the software you created. You can create applications to control the web document (software). Functions are simply a program within the web document. All the application on your smartphone are web document...because the files are located on web server and requires the web browser to communicate with servers. |

Your MS word is just a web document with lots of javascript function that helps you to organize your document. You can still create a word processing application software using HTML5/CSS3 and javascript. |
