TMKsouth:All the Nigerians causing trouble in South Africa came on visitors visa and don't have legal papers to permanently stay in the country and work and that is why they resort to crime. The Nigerians that are productive in South Africa immigrated to work as doctors, nurses, engineers, accountants and other working professional jobs and have legal papers. It is the fault of the South African government that allowed the illegal immigrants to become nuisances. |

TMKsouth:South Africa needs to show the world blacks played an active role in building the great country you have today. The impression is everything was built by the Dutch settlers, which is a false narrative.South African was built by all the ethnicities, no one holds the credit. BTW , which city is that train located in? |

RuudVanNisteroy:I guess the law abiding ones are quietly going by their business. It's the empty drums that really get South Africans annoyed. Unfortunately there are far more of them than the good ones. |

RuudVanNisteroy:Joburg to Pretoria. Brand new trains, 2010. IT'S JEALOUSY. They are quick to applaud Rwanda's development without much resources (no questions asked) but intentionally fail to acknowledge that the black SA government has far more resources and therefore far more capable of developing the country to world-class standards. They lean on their stupid white saviour philosophy instead. |

RuudVanNisteroy:I don't really think it's an impression, I just think many of you want to desperately believe that when South Africa was developed, the natives were playing hop-scotch it makes many people sleep better at night |

TMKsouth:And this results into how South Africans negatively view Nigerians as a whole. It's NOT jealousy of their " hustle" or the taking of our women" or all these stupid reasons |

TMKsouth:Another thing that we South Africans we don't really mention enough, apart from the criminality it's the crass arrogance many Nigerians seem to have in general, the ones we bump into on the streets, ever notice that? What's up with that? I reckon many South Africans are out off by that too. Compared to other nationalities Nigerians just have this arrogant thing about them, and please no one should say it's ", confidence" or I'm "intimidated" I know the difference |

IronGalaxy:How can you be arrogant with ashy feet and huge toes. They don't put lotion on their humongous feet. Not to mention smelly armpits. I hear they even bath in kitchen sinks there in Hillbrow - when they eventually do bath. There's nothing sophisticated there. P. S. I'm talking bout the hustlers and not the hundresds-of-millions of doctors and engineers developing our country. ![]() |

| Re: What If South Africa,Namibia And Botswana Was Ruled By Nigerian Leaders? by Nobody: 11:19pm On Jun 06, 2020 |
TMKsouth:Not true-in Canada and USA Nigerian immigrants are some of the successful in integrating and not are not known for committing crimes. South Africans are using the minority that engage in crime that are most likely illegal immigrants to judge and stereotype the average Nigerian as a criminal. The working professionals that are productive and contribute to your economy are a different breed and class. |

Benevento:Lol Why the foul language? Atleast Cape Town has a slum inside of it. Lagos is one huge slum all on its own. Bigger than Nairobi's Kibera. 60 years of wasted independence and oil revenue. Do you know how shocking this is to a South Africans? I'm trying to spot your Stock Exchange in this pic. It has to be in there somewhere. ![]()

TMKsouth:If the truth is said, the black governments have actually tried even though there have been glaring failures. I remember when I was in the University of Lagos in the 90s. In the early 90s, there were lots of South African students and they looked wretched. It wasn't their fault. Apartheid was such a cruel system that it existed to break and crush the blacks of South Africa and it did. Many were alcoholics and Nigerian students generally looked down at them. They had not walked a mile in their shoes. Now, I'm sure that image won't exist today. Black South Africans have moved up the financial ladder in droves and the economy and country haven't fallen apart. Truth be told, South Africa needs seriously economic reform if it is to achieve its full potential and escape anaemic growth which it is now plagued with. Labor laws needs to be made flexible so jobs can be created in abundance. Privatisation of giant South African giants should be implemented with gusto. Most importantly, government should tackle crime. It is inexcusable that crime stats in South Africa are embarrassingly high. It has become a gangsters paradise and it sucks many foreigners in. It is time South Africa tamed these goons the way America tamed the Wild Wide West! |

RuudVanNisteroy:In SA we call a spade a spade. Nigerians, Zimbabweans and Mozambicans are prone to criminality in SA. Ask yourself why Congolese, Kenyans and Ghanaians do not suffer from such "stereotyping" or backlash. |
