This whole stuff what updated on the site in April (Published 20 April 2020). Please correct me if I'm wrong. The news is old

Gradually things are getting clearer and better.

The 14days UK quarantine imposed on travellers took effect today. Someone who travelled into UK today from Boston shared her experience, she said she said common Temperature testing wasn't conducted on them and there were only told my the world of mouth to stay at home for 14days.

Capitalbase:

I will be using Access Bank. Actually they said it's 451 but my colleague that paid said she got the alert and calculated the deductions only to realize she was debited @471. Still not bad Sha.
But the person is on Vacation and I will do another branch tomorrow.
I will update after the whole matter.

My dear, don't be in hurry to make any financial commitment to any school for now.Try wait till ending of July,by then all higher education institutions in UK and UK government will be in a better position to decide how everything will work. pls don't rush .thanks

IOM offices are opened now, so hopefully the other Visa-related offices will also start working soon.

It was "last updated" on June 1st.

Old or new at least it gives us an insight into what to expect and prepare for.

Yes only if one opt for distance learning

What does 2.14 implies? That the UK has no plan to issue visas for studies to international students?

If someone commence lectures online pending when visa office and borders are open, does it mean its distance learning ?

hosey:

So this is panic abi to you abi. You are so funny.

You are paying for your school fees, IHS and many more.
Or is it free or you think anything is free in UK. Is it not your money.

It is better that candidates to know what they need to know and the reality.

The only time you can mention panic is if you won full scholarship such as Commonwealth, Chevening e.t.c in which you are been given free tuition and stipends. Then such candidate can panic so they wont lose opportunity.

It is your money. Be in control as you are doing the school and UK a favour. Stop having this mindset that the school is helping you after paying enormous amount.

Maybe I’m on scholarship, maybe not. . . Point is, you don’t know my circumstance.

Relax hosey,

It’s not that deep wink

You still haven't corrected me if I was wrong, the latest update on 1st of June didn't make reference to the April 20th update, in fact the latest update is more of a positive news for everyone in a way.

Here it is below:

1 June 2020
Updated information about Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS): Applications can now be made to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for a new ATAS certificate.

29 May 2020
Added information on the extension of concessions from 31 May 2020 to 31 July 2020, updated list of NHS professions in which Tier 4 students can work full-time, as well as other extensions and concessions.

Availability of funds is subject to CBN and not your bank.

Your bank submit your application and bid for fund from CBN and as soon as it is made available they process your request.

UK is very thick box exercise...if you meet the requirements then you get the visa. There no where in the visa guidelines which puts an age limit on any educational entry. As long as you are able to secure admission and are able to defend or articulate it in Visa interview then you are good to go once you have the financial requirements

Hi Kingpin..

I was a student ambassador at Coventry, Age was not an issue then and it probably isn't now. If you are still bothered, have a chat with the international office team, and perhaps request to speak to a student ambassador if you have other specific questions.

Unless you are bothered about discussing study gaps during your visa interview at TLS, if at all, you should be able to explain.

I don't know what other opinion you need. You are good to go

Thank you so much you put my mind at ease. Do you think its possible to defer a September admission to next year May ? Trying not rush into paying millions for an online class.
