I would disagree very strongly with regards to your comparison between Oruma and Okocha they were in direct competition.

However, that competition brought animosity of you are familiar with Nigeria football you will know about rancour it created.

In my view Okocha particularly early on was very wasteful in show boating and playing to the gallery and not the team.

Oruma on the other hand did not have the frills bur on occasion was more effective but we never got to see it consistently because the team tactics could not accommodate them both playing at the same time.

We are talking about technical ability and skill a player who has been at City from the age of 8 has been playing with first team players from age 15. Was on first team sheet at age 16.

That means he is tutored and trained in the required skill set, the technical aspects of the game and the philosophy of Pep. You can't use that as a basis for a general assumption.

Even Fabregas was at Barcelona when Pep was there getting an education on the best of technical football. He came at Arsenal in 2003 and within two years he was in the first and a year later he was playing for Spain first team.

Too early to say. The U-17 Class of 2019 do have a few exciting prospects who could make that mark but yeah, Amoo seems like one who could be the first from that class. Tijani is yet another. Time will tell.
