And afonjas never learn that they will never be accepted at the North side as true allies. Osibanjo is going through same humiliation after being made to head a committee on toilet matters and relegated to a houseboy in Ask rock. |

Any time a woman wants to come and change things in this sh1t hole, they will not last long. Only madam kudirat and dora of nafdac did well for their country but the two are six feet under. No sincere female wants to come forward. Only jezebels are in power now and that's how negroes like them. Tueh!!! 3 Likes |

Those good old days. I remember watching this scene on our black and white television as a kid. Though it's not good for the abiola family then, sorry for saying that word, sorry for the bereaved, |

osydennyz: Yes, Yorubas betray a lot. Imagine using three million of your fellow Southerners for pepper soup and suya and then using their wives and daughters as sex slaves for good 30 months. It's a nightmare that the children of those used for pepper soup and those used as sex slaves will never forget. But whether you forget it or not, there is nothing you can do about it. If you pick up arms against the Federal Republic again, the same 1967 to 1970 Christmas party await you |

There were lot of fallen heroes & heroines of Naija during the late '90s. MKO, Baba 70 (Fela), Abacha , Kudirat Abiola to named a few. All these days still stayed fresh in memory. Kudirat was gunned down in front of coca-cola bottling company, where the driver drove to seeking cover but the untimely response from the gate personnel cost them their lives. The assassins ambushed them! While Fela had earlier debunked his death rumors on TV prior to his main demised. I followed the glass casket in which they used to convey the legend for lying in state at TBS. My first and last time seeing him in person. shook hands with Femi who sat on one of the cars while people with loud speakers playing baba 70 music with enough 'Igbo smokers', the smokes almost blinded ones eyes. More than half population of Nigerians were jubilating the passing of authoritarian; Abacha after he allegedly took an apple from daughters of Jezebels He was already campaigning to be elected as democratic president after number of years as a military presido, if not for death that took him away; he would have been the first democratic president 'cos no one dare stop him. The striking blow to all Nigerians was however the breaking news after some weeks/months of Abacha's death, that MKO a renowned philanthropist has died from food poisoning. We all thought he was going to be Nigeria Mandela, but that never happened! Till date- the MKO/Kingibe campaign song is still the best... My brother wetin you dey think oo? My sister helep don come oooo! MKO-Kingibe (2ce) Action -Abiola Abiola-Progress that song sweet shaa 3 Likes |

Blackmann001: Sir/ma, please read. She isn't being celebrated because she married MKO, She's being celebrated for fronting one of the most deviants attempts against the brutal military government and paying for it with her life. As for even Tinubu that you mentioned, he played one of the best opposition role in the history of Nigerian politics aside the fact that Tinubu also defied Abacha. There are a lot of people from the tribe you mentioned and even other tribes but the most outstanding ones will keep being celebrated whether you recognize them or not. 2 Likes |
