Emekusboy9 I pray you get to the pinnacle of your football career. Sharing your story is a selfless act that will remain source of inspiration to us.

Last year I was discussing with someone about my intention to visit Cote d' Ivoire to explore business opportunities, but he painted the country as poor and I was better of exploring Ghana, even Togo. Now I know better. Thanks OP.

I will be contacting you via e-mail.

Please, keep updating bro.

I was touched to read that u had wanted to visit "ivory coasts" before but our mentality of "down grading " other countries just because of the name could not allow u to explore the business advantages over there.

If u can explore in Togo and the rest why not ivory coast?

Anyway i will be expecting the mail

Good day guys..., like i promise to get some real fact on some question raised on houses and place to stay. i had made some few contact with my friend before today and also talk to him today to be sure of what he told me.

Firstly, you most know that the figures are in cefa and not naira, and by that, naira currency is above cefa ( not much gap although).

So let start with housing....

STUDIO ONE BEDROOM - 30-35,000 cefa every month. If u want to start... Some can take 200,000 cefa as (agreement fee) and every month u will be paying 30,000 cefa.

Also if you want the ones of 15 to 20,000cefa because it has (public toilet) hustler choice grin. . .... You can also get the ones of 25,000 cefa studio apartment that is good alone and with private toilet not public. But if u want a room & parlor then is 50-60,000 , some can collect 4 or 5 months cusion from you, and also take 250,000 from for agreement.

Also they are another STUDIO APARTMENT for 40,000cefa that is called " AMERICA STUDIO" grin that is big. So it all depend on how much u bring into the country for house . and again if u want places that is cheap in Abidjan that u can be paying like 30,000cefa or 35000cefa, but places like " Berger, des wit and a place called panama, dat is cheap! u have to be calculating ur transport from work to house( please not sure of those spellings is been long ooo) cheesy does places like the places i listed u can get a Room and Parlor for 35 to 40,000kcefa that is good with well furnished with ties.

For the BUSINESS - it depend on the business you are coming to do, but if you are coming from Nigeria is better to know the business you are coming with that u can sale & get ur money or if u are coming to do business in ivory coast you can come then look for business, and it's depend on your finance u have at hand.......

So guys, i believe i had done justice to some questions....

@deb07, give me time to answer the rest of ur questions.

See you guys later for another update.

It ain’t high tho, when converted to Naira it like 25k to 30k a month for a self contain and we pay like 250k to 300k here for one year, so do the calculation it’s still the same total price if put together in a year..

Agriculture is there major sector after COCOA, you are good to go but to me Abidjan is not the right place for u unless is just for " veterinary doctor " then the others like livestock should be done in another state because there is enough land to farm and things are cheap but the most important thing u will be supplying those livestock's to Major cities/states like Abidjan. And one of those state too move too is "bouake" they are others developing state u can try also
I'm an Animal scientist.I'm plannning to establish a poultry, piggery and goat farm in Bouake.
Can the business flourish there?
How much do i need to actualize this?
Can i get a public room of 200k in Bouake for a year?
What about cost of feeding in that city for a month, can i give me an estimate.
What about cost of renting/leasing a small land/space(Like 20ft by 30ft)?

Can 500k actualize this?

Bouake, is where that business will flourish.... And for the house, yes you will find a place for a year with 200k

Yes 500k will be fine for renting /leasing a land over there

How developed is Bouake? And whats its proximity to Abidjan.

I would have preferred Abidjan, the reason is obvious but due to the high cost of living there and unfortunately anything that pertains to Livestock is not advicable to be situated in a residential or densely build-up area.
I would rather opt for a state/province that is in close proximity to Abidjan because i want Abidjan to be my target as regards to marketing.

I also want a place/city where i can get those fine babes cheesy because i'm also planning to marry one Gods willing.

Pls i dont know how to communicate in French, how i can i survive there? (sad)

Bouke is good but may not as developed as Abidjan... And houses are very cheap over there.

For the babes, they are everywhere even is more easier to get babes in buoake than Abidjan, because they dnt see Nigerians or foreigners often like Abidjan.

I know one or two cities close to Abidjan like 1 or 2 hours journey away from Abidjan that i went too soccer trial that time, but i need to remember does places then let u know later

Bouake to Abidan is more than 380kms...more than 4hrs journey with car and more than 5hours with bus....Very far...you have to pass Yamassoukro...

Thanks, Mekus for sharing your Iv.

My second Ivory Coast experience was surreal. I thought I had fun during the first visit but it was nothing compared to the second visit. This time I had the opportunity to tour other regions; from Abidjan to Man - Zoukougbeu - Bonon - Yakro - Bouaké - Katiola - Ferké - (back to) Bouaké - Sakassu - Yamoussoukro - Dimbokro - Bonguanu - Daoukro - Adzopé - and finished in Abidjan

Pls how much does the adventure cost you? ... The first tour !

Congratulations on being the first to "Bell the Cat". I know I will be attacked, like you were, for stating a contrary opinion to what exists in the echo chamber, but the truth is that the "Emperor has no Clothes"! It takes a certain amount of skill to present a lot of words but actually say nothing smiley. OP should not take this as negative criticism but a challenge to present useful information, facts, details, even pictures! A few people on here have presented more information in one fleeting post than the OP has done in 11 pages. Now excuse me while I don my fire retardant suit as the flaming begins.
You guys are just piece of nothing .... This dude is sharing his experience as far as Ivory coast is concerned.... His experience, his own experience .... His hustles, his agenda, his encounters , his interest ...

This is not a thread about Abidjan , this is his own memories .... Why can't you guys just use una brain for a secs... Jumping from thread to thread blowing stewpid grammars without making one single iota of sense ....

Look at the thread topic and tell me how sensible you are .... Someone cannot share his experience in peace again ....
