You want him to be diplomatic about what he opines?

Lol, keep dreaming, no buyer will buy this car, only to see this fault and be diplomatic about it especially in this bearish economy period.

Na wa ooo. What do you mean by nobody will buy that car. Did you inspect the car? What is your basis for quickly making such a condescending statement on someone's displayed goods. Or was the statement inspired by your innermost dark desire.
The economy is not stopping the containers upon containers of cars that arrive daily at the ports that are in far worse condition than that car.

Inception:

Actually the camber looks out of design specifications, at least looking at the second picture posted( except if you have another viewpoint ). This is most likely from an impact to the affected area and can be fixed easily over here ( i have seen instances 10 times worse plying Nigerian roads)

But, you see the tone and manner of approach used when passing such vital information is very important. what the 'Google mechanic' did was right, but his intentions might have betrayed him. The irony is that his intentions may be for the good of the prospective buyer because when such vehicles are purchased, the burden of putting it to road worthy condition may far outweigh the cost savings envisaged.

But i believe Amdman has taken care of this concern via the introduction of packages such as comprehensive inspection (which could be viewed as a form of 'insurance') once the buyer has indicated interest. Some people (like myself grin ) would rather buy as is because, well, i like my women dangerous grin grin grin cool

So in a nutshell it is all about your interest and filtering the kind of information you need to guide you in making your FID. You like it , fine : proceed to the next step. You dont like it, move on and enjoy the show.

Finally Somone who is not afraid , I guess you are gazzuz cheesy

At the end getting a good deal is importanter

I am thinking amdman should evolve from his present way of doing adverts.

Pic a vehicle you know will sell with ease, do all inspections post all info and sell .
doing that is clearly a good idea, but that would come at a cost, one which he can wisely decide to avoid. Not all cars he advertises, gets bought by people here. What's more, there are no guarantees that you will get the exact car advertised. Several people that have BOUGHT, myself included, have stated that sometimes either the car is no longer available OR he outrightly turns it down based on the state the car actually is when he goes to inspect. Typically, he would then find another.

The actual issue here is almost all the time, the noisemakers who just hang around here, with no intention of buying like two stated themselves here today, keep offering their unsolicited opinions. Actual buyers are doing their due diligence and buying. Same goes to the Amdman defenders, yea we already know he is a solid dude, maybe just ignore these folks whenever they pop in here. This same drama has played out here too many times. Lets really just resolve to ignore some of these 'unsolicited' posts when they drop. Haters gon hate, potatoes gon potate!

POINTS TO NOTE

1. Pictures we post are mostly before inspection. Buyer will get more pictures and video after inspection, before purchase.

2. We do not buy all the cars we inspect.

3. If there is any issue we observe on inspection that was not previously disclosed, we refer to buyer to decide on the way forward

4. We drive almost all of the cars we buy to the warehouse for shipping. Till date, we have not had a case where any broke down on the way. We will not risk our lives to drive a defective vehicle because of small financial margins.

5. We do not use marketing gimmicks to persuade buyers. We disclose all issues known to us.

6. If we don't think the deal is a good one, we will tell you. If we don't perceive you will get value for your money, we will tell you as well.

Over a hundred cars and counting... and we are still here.

Who actually benefits from this chaos?
I read somewhere that "In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity". Look no further I've done the hard work and present to you facts.

Anyways, before calm and normalcy returns here. I'll start (covertly) looking out for cheap deals to buy and resell going forward. Please if you see OP's price and you see my mark-up. Mind your business, we all can't be preaching fairness and equality. With 15M or less (financing can be provided) you can definitely fill up a car stand with quick selling Japs - low risk, high turnover.

Anyone of you that wants the complete business plan and a feasibility study based on the last 5 pages of this thread, don't be shy - hit the pm button for rates.

"Spoiling the mind" of potential buyers on a seller's thread is not a good thing; this is not sentiments.

How is stating the conditions of a car "spoiling the minds" of potential buyers?

You're more interested in OP making his sales than buyers getting values for their money.

We Nigerians have a big problem. Envy, hate and bitterness. Attacks upon attacks. People just jump in to comment and it’s so easy to see the bitterness in their post. Started following this thread from day 1 and I’ve seen so much hate and jealousy on here.
1. Amdman does not do full inspection, he stated that categorically, however, if you want full inspection and disclosure, you pay an amount to engage the services of a professional as he not qualified to do that.
But as typical Nigerians, we look the other way around trying to cut cost and save money and also expecting amdman to carry out professional inspection on each and every vehicle he advertises. At who’s expenses if I may ask, him? No way. He’s a business man and also wants to make profit.
2. What if after engaging the services of a professional machinic to inspection these vehicles and the would be buyer changes his/her mind, who loses? Why are Nigerians so wicked and greedy? Why the bring him down campaign?

Y’all should through the thread to get facts and jumping to comment shits. Good job amdman

Isn't this the reason googlemechanic should be appreciated? His post might have saved some people from going ahead with the car or even paying for comprehensive inspection and later not buying the car

But Gazzuzz don suffer for this thread, chai.

I still think it is unfair to always drag his name here whenever issue comes up when we don't have an empirical evidence he is the one behind the moniker causing the issue.

Gazzuzz is doing VERY good for himself, he is not just a kazeem, amdman is doing excellently also. Let's stop trying to cause fight between the duo. From what I know, Gazzuzz approached/bought cars from OP after the earlier day "rust" issues. It means everyone has moved on.

There is no sentiment in business. Everyone is allowed to criticize a car from OP. The criticism might even open the eyes of OP to that issue raised which he doesn't see before.

Let's take it easy with our FANNING, biko. Even OP no dey curse people here, why are adults fighting defending people's biz when that person can defend himself?

Yes, my reply was still in order. There is nothing not good there giving a bad review of a car provided the review is right. It is sentiment thinking every bad review is done out of jealousy. It doesn't even matter if the reviewer is an enemy to amdman or not. What matters is "is the review correct?"

Nobody is forcing anyone to buy. If you feel it’s not a good deal, back out. Some others who would feel its a good deal will buy. I bet you can’t go to dealership to dictate to them what price they should sell their cars. Amdman has clarified this issues over and over but y’all turn blind eyes waiting for opportunities to attack him.
