Please I need matured advice as I am in a dilemma, I had to register a new account for identity sake. Forgive my vocabulary blunders please. I am considering a divorce due to the below reasons

1. My wife told me she was a virgin before I married her,i then discovered there was no sign of Virginity during our first night as husband and wife.. Now I know a virgin must not bleed during her first sexual intercourse. A Lady might lost her hymen during workout, sport or a rigorous activity, my wife has never indulge in such sports or rigorous activity but not a drop of blood was seen during our first night.. Another point to note is, most virgins are scared of sex during their night but my wife was the one who initiated the sex on our wedding night even after I disagreed that there are still people in the house they might hear her scream of pain during her first sex but she insisted.

2. Most of her prayers is: Oh God if my husband is cheating on me in any way or he is treating me badly in any way may problems never leave his path, may he encounter problems all the time may he never find what ever he is looking for in this life.

3. She doesn't respect me at all.

Recently I had lots of problems from duping, to loosing my job to betrayal and so many misfortunes..

I don't get it. Nairaland is already a faceless forum,members true identity are unknown. So why registering a new account to hide your identity,which identify are you hiding?
If it's about the virginity alone,I would say move on and accept her like that. But a woman praying such a prayer against her husband must be a devil,Hana even without you cheating, she's already keeping the curses in the cooler,incase you cheat.

Don't divorce yet. Pray also, a closed mouth is a closed destiny. I don't need to tell you what to pray about.

This one weak me. So she did not even know if you are treating her bad or not, which is one of the reason for her second prayer point. My brother take her to Mountain of fire or white garment church for deliverance. but if after that she did not still change, you may consider divorce before it all end in tears!.

1. Lying about virginity isn't cool. I wouldn't appreciate such trickery/deception, if I were a man. I hope you at least received an heartfelt apology.

2. Praying for problems/harm to come your way is deplorable. I don't condone cheating at all, but I wouldn't pray for problems/harm to befall the man either.

3. Based on #1 & #2, the lack of respect is no surprise. I'm assuming it wasn't long ago that you got married, which means the respect likely wasn't there before the marriage. In any case, building or rebuilding it will require efforts from both of you.

The first prob I sighted was lack of trust! And it was way back buh you didn't obeserve it. You just have to earn her trust first as this was why she might likely be disrespectful.

From your write up Op I believe it isn’t long you got married; I can deduce from the write up that the behavior of your wife didn’t start today, you saw it all along but pressed on maybe believing change is on the way. You must have seen signs of her fowl mouth and maybe suspected she has no follow come gold mine, you ignored all the signs and married her now you are enduring.

My Advice:
1) have a heart discussion with her and reassure her of your love and that you won’t cheat on her (that’s if you are telling the truth )
2) if the behavior persist involve Pastor/ counselors
3) If it goes out of hand involve parent.
