I used Ielts Liz and Jay for writing and speaking, and I also had someone who helped me review my writing. For Reading and Listening, I worked with both academic and general trading from the Cambridge books.

Hi,
I noticed u said u have HND. You should be the PA being younger(30), and evaluate your ND and HND to get 2 or more certificate. Your husband should evaluate his Bsc too.
Both of you should focus on getting the highest from each module of IELTS(CLB10), especially you.
With your 3 years experience your CRS will be 470 if you both get a CLB10. You stand a fair chance with 470 I think compared with 395.
Cheers cool

Hello, I salute all gurus in the house.

My spouses Noc (2233 Industrial Engineering) needs certification and he doesn't have it

1. How does not having certification affect one's application? Could it actually stop provinces from having interest in one's application?

2. How can one go about getting certified ?

3. Please I need information on provinces we could apply to with the following info:

Noc 2233 Industrial Engineering/5years work experience/ crs score 375/ 35years
Noc 1241 Admin Assistance/3years work experience/crs score 395/30 years

Thanks

As someone in a similar position, I don’t think you have any issue claiming 3years experience as long as your research is relevant to fulfilling your role as a GA. In fact you cannot progress in academics without further studies.

And in actual sense, while you were away gathering requisite postgraduate experience for your job, the university recognized you as their full-time staff. You were still EMPLOYED! Therefore, your job description during that 3-year period is covered by, and the same as your PG experience.

More so, if you have to sum your total work experience in academia, you wouldn’t subtract your years of study leave, will you?

Be convinced of these facts and present a strong justification in your LOE for the VOs review. Let the VO see a strong link below your job description as a GA and any technical skill learned/applied during your research.

Very aptly put.

Thank you!

No, from CES. They received my transcript on a Monday and completed the report by Thursday.

Hi LadyN,

What was your experience with CES. Did you follow up with them to update your information once you sent your documents? Not many people seem to use them . Very little feedback on their services.
Kindly advise how to follow up with them.

Thanks

Hello Faithyyyy,

My experience with them was impressive. I only had to follow up on them when I had issues with my school/ETX regarding processing and transmitting my transcript. Their turnaround time for feedback is fair enough. Once transcript got to them, everything else was a smooth-sail. They updated my info without further prompts.

I’d say they are very efficient especially if you’ll be sending your transcript electronically; that’s the only accepted method for them right now anyway.

Hope this helps.

Next draw(s) outlook;
Lower PNP/CEC CRS cutoff score/Lesser number of ITAs;
or FSW draw(I pray for this) around the corner...
just stating the obvious the way I see it!

Dear LadyN

Thank you so much. I was able to get hold of them via phone and also send my transcripts electronically via myEquals. Their timeline seems very reasonable from what the lady said. They haven't updated my profile yet but i will keep following up with them until it's done. Apparently all paper documents are being stored in their storage room until later in the future when they resume. Thank God for electronic platforms

Thank you very much.
Hope this helps.

Good evening everyone. Please I've some questions ;

1)-Regarding employment, i am paid salary in cash. It's not a big firm and the salary is small. What documents do i need to support this cash salary .?
2)For proof of funds- I'm using fixed deposit and gift deed from my parent.
A) do i need to show accrual of funds for the fixed deposit?
B) must the gift money be in my account before ITA?
C) after drafting the deed do i have to get an affidavit and notarize as well?
D) must i produce my dad's statement showing the transfer of the gift money?
3)when is the best time to do medicals and PCC, before or after ITA?

Thank you

They should use MCC instead but if they are assessing other degrees aside medicine, they can use any of the two you stated so long as they hope not to claim doctor's duties on their reference letters.

I'm not too sure but if you're a dr and wanna practice as one in Canada, pls use MCC. Go and read around this and ask your friend to as well. Or get a good immi consultant.

On the last question, go to their site and ask them.

hello everyone
Please I am asking for a relative

We noticed his skilled job falls in level A (software engineer/designer) but requires university education,
The problem is he doesn't have a university education for this.
He actually passed through NIIT for a 3year diploma course, was meant to complete the final year in UK to be awarded the Bsc but due to unfortunate event could not afford to go. Since then he has been working as a software engineer/developer.

What are his options
Would he still be eligible for express entry.

Someone should please help me.
Thanks in anticipation

Please someone should help me
An answer, suggestion, anything to shed light on this,

Will he's diploma certificate for NIIT count
The certificate was awarded from India.

Help me please

If i haven't gone through it i won't even have an idea of the questions i asked. I don't know if you're dying or not but if you can’t answer waka pass and leave it for people who understand why I'm asking (as a lot of that part one isn't clear some people's comments from the links there are even kind of misleading!) to answer me.

PPR stories and embedded links in which page(s) is misleading?? Page one? No answer to those questions of yours is missing in page one alone. You have not read it. Even if there is a missing part, you would have couched it better to show what's missing. Or go go to other parts.

And no, she wont waka pass, when people waka pass, it tends to show you are being ignored and in some cases, people repeat it thereby crowding the thread. Maybe someone else can help you.

I think he should evaluate the diploma first. Get the necessary documents and enter the pool. Even though his score wont be enough to secure ITA these days through FSW, he is qualified for it. However, i feel his occupation maybe in demand in one of the provinces, he could get lucky and be nominated, which is 600 points. It will now be more than enough to get ITA.

Lol. If i haven't read it (this particular thread page one) i won't even know i can use a gift deed or FD or even need to notarize etc. And yes some of the comments were misleading until i did proper research by asking questions for clarity and also double checking cic website. I know what I'm talking about! If i read or not is it not for my own knowledge? Eyyy wey God o. Why are we even arguing about if i read it or not?. Well thanks to you both o. I see people replying questions that was already asked by another person just moments before , but to clarify something of weeks/months back is a problem. Well done o.. Lol. All the same thanks for not ignoring, you're right about that.

Thank you
1. You don't need an additional document to show you were paid in cash, the major thing needed is your reference letter, but in the reference letter you can add "was/ is paid in cash the sum of ..." or you just add a LOE when you are about to submit post ITA. All these are not compulsory but to avoid stories that touch.

2A. I'm confused or better still I don't understand the question.

2B. No

C. No, but you can if you like

D. No, it's not a must.

3. After ITA

The answers are on page one sha and some were even asked recently
