I had one chicken breast and bony part leftover that I couldn't bake cos the tray was filled up. I used the chicken breast and some Irish potatoes to prep this yummy, spicy pie. Don't mind the shape of the round pie, I couldn't get my desired shape

Please, what did you use to seal the mini meat pies. It doesn't look like fork lines.

Chicken price varies with location. Chicken is cheaper in Lagos. Full chicken should be around 1,200 in Lagos...lagosians should help clarify pls.

On average its 1200-1300per kilo of a whole chicken.

So if the bird is weighing 2kg, u will have to pay 2400.

usually you can see a pack of 5kilo, 10kilo..... 100kilo whole chicken.

In this case, 2birds can weigh 5kilo, and the owner sell 1200 x 5 = 6000.

It's all packaging and business.

I do use a sieve to mash the potatoes with the skin however, the skin can't pass through the sieve. When I add the butter and milk, I add some of the skin back to it.

As for the full chicken, I was at a frozen food shop and I heard someone ask, can’t remember the price I heard. I think N1300. I was shocked at the price, expected it to be more expensive.
