yeah we call it service pistol but it seems like it's only the DPO that have that in this part of the world

It's way too risky to be on rifle when you are not on a long distance shoot out cry

this men could easily be shot at when they are sitted in a car undecided

In saner countries, police don't use Assault rifles even in harmed robbery scenarios, most times they use pump Action or automatic pistols.

Assault rifles are for Soldiers on rapid fire.

The crime rate in US in a month is twice the number of Africa in a month, but their police uses Semi Automatic pistols. Rifles are for long distance Shoot out, and an average assault rifle is deadly not to talk of 'AK 47' rifles

no skinny police man should be allowed to carry gun, only the gallant and fearless should be allowed, I know how many guns I collected from these police and civil defense in a day, that was then, I am a changed person now,

no police should go home with a gun, it's almost one million naira for a single gun, Nigeria is rich, when I was in Rwanda, 8 police men were sharing one gun

So what happens when they encounter outlaws brandishing automatic/semi automatic weapons, call for SWAT backup when we all know that it takes 2hrs to move from Ikeja to Oshodi on a normal day based on traffic logistics.
