No electric car can cover 400 (644Km) mile on a single charge as of today considering the number of time used to charged it and the cost of the car, electric car is a long story + long journey! The component used in making battery that will replace oil is not in large quantity as that of oil! And I'm only focusing on one aspect oil. So, forget about that stupid theory they are putting in your head! Even the promoter of those theories are still drilling (looking for oil seriously), buying and stocking oil than the pre 'oil will soon dry' theory period
