God doesn't judge us based on our forefathers sins. The sins of our forefathers remains with them.

I think so....

Not necessarily curses but bad traits from a family/community/region

In Nigeria for example, the unnecessary wasted souls might have placed some curse on those who perpetrated the evil.

We are seeing it happening currently in Nigeria

Yeah there's something like generation curse. If there's nothing like generational curse why are people going for deliverance every time. Come and see how Pastor Olukoya used to mention them in their programmes. Things are happening that can't be explained with human understanding.

Then is that not generational curse?

How about Nigeria as a country? Only a cursed country will remain underdeveloped

Why will Nigeria develop when you keep electing dullards?
You're now gearing to vote for Tinubu by 2023 and yet you want Nigeria to develop..

Sure certainly, but not in the light you present it.

GC is evident because we reincarnate from a life time to another as spirit walking into perfection. Now if a spirit before it's departure lay a curse on you in its corporeal life, that curse remains and go with you into the grave until that spirit learn to forgive you. You in turn in your next life is saddled to atone for that sin that invited the curse. If you're able to, that sin go away. If you weren't it walks you to your next reincarnation.

Which is why the intervention of a higher pure spirit like Christ is needed to enlighten the spirit that cursed you that forgiveness on the spirit part gives it peace and freedom.

Avoid curses every way you can. Do good only.

Abeg both past and present, has any of them meet up to ordinary 40% expectations?

If no, then the voters might have been cursed for repeating failures

Is there anything like generational curse?

Repeated patterns can be as a result of children learning bad traits from their parents. Or parents training their children in the same environment they grew up. If you were born in Mushin and you gave birth to your own children in Mushin, there'll likely be a repeated pattern. undecided undecided undecided

Obj, Yaradua, and GEJ exceeded 40% expectations.

I believe a son can benefit from the good deeds of his parents.

But curses can never be generational!

Everyone get his/her own destiny!

Yes, there is.

An example is someone whose father foolishly fought those feeding him. The person feeding his father stopped feeding him and his father lost the battle. Today, the children are now chest-beating and threatening the person who their father lost to. Meanwhile, they can't feed themselves but depend on the same person feeding their father.

That is an example of generational curse. They are cursed to be beaten like dogs and to lose every dispute they engage in. Even those they support falls victim to the generational curse. Whoever they support loses.

Hmm.
Humans! Always looking for explanations out of the ordinary.
Generational curse?! Because some things are recurrent automatically makes them the result of a Generational curse?

There's nothing like generational curse. What ever we experience is simply following the cause-and-effect rule.
Simply put, what we experience now is the result of what was done in the past. Sometimes the cycle continues until someone in the cycle break it.

Stupid question! Obviously, religion-based.
Religion will be the end of us if we don't start using our brains

God doesn't judge us based on our forefathers sins. The sins of our forefathers remains with them.
“You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.”

A generational curse is believed to be passed down from one generation to another due to rebellion against God. If your family line is marked by divorce, incest, poverty, anger or other ungodly patterns, you're likely under a generational curse. The Bible says that these curses are tied to choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 says we can either choose life and blessing or death and cursing.
